VIZ Kids has announced that the popular manga series Pokémon Black and White, Pokémon Adventures Diamond and Pearl/Platinum and Pokémon Adventures: HeartGold and SoulSilver will launch in the British and Irish Markets.
Several POKÉMON manga series are scheduled for release under the company's VIZ Kids imprint and kicks off with the U.K. debut of POKÉMON BLACK AND WHITE, now available. The series is rated ‘A’ for All Ages and will carry an RRP of £3.99. Viz Media plans to follow this title with the debut of POKÉMON ADVENTURES: DIAMOND AND PEARL/PLATINUM on June 6th and will launch the POKÉMON ADVENTURES: HEARTGOLD AND SOULSILVER series later this Autumn.

Pokémon ReBurst #1 (ポケットモンスターReBURST 第１巻) and Pokémon Special #39 (ポケットモンスターSPECIAL 第39巻) have both been announced by Shogakukan. Pokémon ReBurst debuted in March in the Weekly Shōnen Sunday and will now be released as a compiled volume. Viz Media has announced that they have licensed the rights to release an English version of the Pokémon Black and White manga. They will also release various other select merchandise based on the Pokémon Black and White brand including a travel activity kit. The first two volumes of the manga will be released in July. The long awaited Arceus and the Jewel of Life DVD will finally be released in North America on February 1st, 2011, a few days before the 13th movie airs on Cartoon Network. Also released that day will be the manga adaption of the movie. Below is the press release.

A new Pokémon Manga was revealed this week at the Jisedai World Hobby Fair Winter '11 (次世代ワールドホビーフェア '11 Winter) in Japan. The new Pokémon Manga will be part of the Weekly Shōnen Sunday (週刊少年サンデー) magazine starting in March of 2011. Further details were not revealed. Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine is aimed at a more older audience due to its target demographics but no summary of the new Pokémon Manga series has been announced yet. CoroCoro Comic (コロコロコミック) is also currently running three Pocket Monsters manga series including a Pocket Monsters BW version.

Shogakukan has announced the release dates for the newest Japanese Pocket Monsters manga's. Pocket Monsters Special 38 (ポケットモンスター☆SPECIAL 38) will be released on February 25th, 2011 for 490yen and its ISBN-13 is 9784091412089 and its ISBN-10 is 4091412084.
Pokémon Tri-Adventure Volumes 2 & 3 (ポケモントライアドベンチャー) were also announced and they will be released on February 28th, 2011 for 500yen each. The ISBN-13 for volume two is 9784091412195 and the ISBN for volume three is 9784091412201.
