Pokémon Manga Goes Digital
VIZ MEDIA and the official Pokémon website have announced that Pokémon Adventures and the Pokémon movie adaptation manga will now be available to purchase in a digital format and published on the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks, comiXology and Google Play platforms.
The Pokémon Adventures manga has been entertaining fans for years, and now it's even easier to read—no matter where your journeys take you—with its release on digital platforms. VIZ recently released the first seven volumes (Pokémon Adventures Vols. 1–7: Red & Blue) of the long-running series on digital formats, and the next seven volumes (Pokémon Adventures Vols. 8–14: Gold & Silver) are arriving on August 28. Subsequent volumes will be released each month through the rest of the year. In addition, a selection of Pokémon movie manga adaptations will hit digital platforms in January 2019.
The Pokémon Adventures manga features stories heavily inspired by the Pokémon RPG video games, with the series broken up into multiple story arcs following different protagonists as they set off on their respective travels through the world of Pokémon. The series is written by Hidenori Kusaka, with artwork for the first nine volumes provided by Mato. Satoshi Yamamoto takes over illustration duties starting in Volume 10.

Pokémon: Sun & Moon, Vol. 1 Manga
The official Pokémon website has announced that Pokémon: Sun & Moon, Vol. 1 manga was released in North America by VIZ Media on May 8th, 2018. The ISBN-10 is: 1974700755 while the ISBN-13 is: 978-1974700752. The volume is retailing for $4.99 USD.
A new chapter of VIZ's long-running Pokémon manga is about to begin with the launch of the latest series, Pokémon: Sun & Moon, Vol. 1. Headed up by the popular creative team of writer Hidenori Kusaka and artist Satoshi Yamamoto, Pokémon: Sun & Moon follows a Pokémon Trainer named Moon in a series of adventures that is markedly different from those we've seen in the video games and the animated Pokémon the Series.
As the story begins, Moon is on her way to deliver a rare Pokémon to Professor Kukui in the Alola region. Along the way, she crosses paths with Sun, a delivery boy who's been entrusted with a special Pokédex. Together, the two set off for the professor's lab, but they're waylaid by some troublesome Team Skull grunts and attacked by a mysterious Pokémon. When the Pokémon leaves behind an equally mysterious sparkling stone, it becomes clear that this is only the beginning of Moon and Sun's fantastic journey!
The first volume in this ongoing series features 80 fun-filled pages, and it's available now where books are sold. See Alola in a whole new light in Pokémon: Sun & Moon, Vol. 1, and look for the second volume to arrive in September 2018.

New York Comic Con 2017 - VIZ Media Panel Reveals Pokémon Sun & Moon and Pokémon Horizon Manga's
The New York Comic Con is the East Coast's largest pop culture convention and it is taking place from October 5th to 8th, 2017 at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan. During VIZ Media's panel, two new Pokémon manga series were revealed: Pokémon Sun & Moon and Pokémon Horizon. Pokémon Sun & Moon is the English translation of Pocket Monsters Special Sun and Moon and Pokémon Horizon "is based on the bestselling video game series".

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Pocket Monsters Special Manga, the Pokémon Center will be releasing the Pocket Monster SPECIAL 20th Anniversary Data Book PokéSPedia (ポケットモンスターSPECIAL 20thアニバーサリーデータブック ポケSPedia) on August 8th, 2017. The book contains: the Story of each chapter from Chapter 1 to Chapter 14, Character profiles, World View Guide, a Pokémon Zukan, a dictioary and a Character correlation diagram.

Viz has confirmed the release dates for the upcoming Movie 17 Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction Region 1 DVD and English Manga. The Manga will be release February 3rd, 2015 and the DVD will be released February 17th, 2015.

VIZ Media has announced that they have acquired the rights to the Pokémon Adventures X & Y manga series and will begin releasing the English translation later this year.
The new release will launch the latest story arc for the popular entertainment property and joins VIZ Media’s expansive catalog of POKÉMON manga and anime titles. The POKÉMON ADVENTURES X & Y series is rated ‘A’ for All Ages and will debut its first volume in print and digitally in December under the company’s Perfect Square imprint. Future volumes of the series, which is also ongoing in Japan, will be published twice yearly.
POKÉMON ADVENTURES X & Y is written by Hidenori Kusaka with artwork by Satoshi Yamamoto. As the new Champion of the Pokémon Battle Junior Tournament in the Kalos region, X is hailed as a child prodigy. But when all the media attention proves to be too much for him, he holes up in his room to hide from everyone, including his best friends. What will it take to get him to come out?! How about an attack on his hometown of Vaniville Town by the two new Legendary Pokémon, Xerneas and Yveltal, and a mysterious organization named Team Flare…?
