Participating Italian McDonald's branches are doing a Pokémon promotion with their Happy Meals from January 27th, 2012 until the end of February 2012, while supplies last. Fans can get six different toys: Reshiram, Zekrom, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott and Pikachu, with the selections changing every week. This promotion also features the six main ponies from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The Czech Republic is also distributing the toys in their Happy Meals.

Participating Czech McDonald's branches are doing a Pokémon promotion with their Happy Meals from the second week of January 2012 until Febuary 9th, 2012, while supplies last. Fans can get six different toys: Reshiram, Zekrom, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott and Pikachu, with the selections changing every week. This promotion also features the six main ponies from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

McDonald's Japan is now promoting the Battrio V Happy Set Collection. 6 Battrio discs are available to collect when patrons buy a kids Happy Set. A commercial shows that the 6 discs are: Level 13 Pokabu, Level 13 Victini, Level 15 Victini, Level 11 Mijumaru, Level 10 Tsutarja, and a level 14 Pikachu. The discs started being distributed on September 30th and are only available for a limited time.

To promote the upcoming Pocket Monsters Best Wishes movies: Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (ビクティニと白き英雄レシラム / ビクティニと黒き英雄ゼクロム), McDonald's Japan has announced a new Happy Set promotion. Starting Friday, June 17th, 2011, participating McDonald's location in Japan will be distributing the 'Playing in the Water Pokémon! (ポケモンと水遊び!)' toys with Happy Set's. Each of these toys are waterproof and can be played with in the water. McDonald's America will also be doing a Happy Meal promotion starting on June 17th, 2011 but the toy distribution is different. Pictures of all the toys can be found on the Imageboard thread.

There are 8 different toys to collect:

Pikachu with Shiny Surfboard (ピカチュウの光るサーフボード)
Zekrom Vehicle (ゼクロム ビークル)
Reshiram Vehicle (レシラム ビークル)
Play in the Water Mijumaru (ミジュマルの水あそび)
Bubbles and Water Gun Pikachu (ピカチュウのシャボン玉と水でっぽう)
Victini Beach
Leaf Boat Tsutarja (ツタージャの木の葉ボート)
Fruit Boat Pokabu (ポカブのフルーツボート).

The official Japanese website has revealed a new Wi-Fi event download to celebrate the 13th Pocket Monsters movie. Starting July 15th, 2010 and ending on August 10th, 2010, players of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSiver can download Satoshi's Pikachu from Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or Nintendo Zones in Japan like McDonalds.

Pikachu is level 50 and he knows the following moves: Volt Tackle, Iron Tail, Quick Attack & Thunderbolt.

picThe latest issue of CoroCoro has revealed that a Level 5 Jirachi will be distributed at McDonalds and Nintendo Zone in Japan. The Jirachi will be available to download from June 19th, 2009 until July 17th, 2009. Users of Pocket Monsters Diamond, Pearl and Platinum are able to receive the Jirachi. It is currently unknown if the Jirachi will be distributed over Wi-Fi connection as well.

The Jirachi knows the following moves: Wish, Confusion, Rest and Draco Meteor. It will also be holding a Liechi Berry.
Nintendo began a trial run of a new service that gives DS owners in Japan access to downloadable content in McDonald's restaurants and on trains. The company kicked off the Nintendo Spot service today in cooperation with McDonalds and NTT Broadband Platform.

McDonald's will use the service to give customers nutritional information about their menu items. The trial program runs at 21 McDonalds restaurants in Tokyo's Setagaya Ward and Suginami Ward until June 30, and on the Tsukuba Express train line until December 28.



From May 30 to June 19, those who access the service will be able to download a special Pikachu that comes with the "Present" skill pre-learned. The present skill is usually only available to Pikachu through breeding.
