The Pokémon Center online website has updated with a new line of products called the Pikachu Stationary Collection [sic]. The products all feature Pikachu somewhere on the item. A Luxury Ballpoint Pen with Pikachu Pattern (Silver) features a warning that states: "This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Not recommended for use by children." It is unclear which chemical included in the pen is a carcinogen as the warning doesn't state what it is.

The Pokémon Pan x Pokémon Tretta x Namco Get Darkrai Campaign (ポケモンパン×ポケモントレッタ×ナムコ　「ダークライ」ゲットキャンペーン) runs in Japan from September 4th, 2014 until October 31st, 2014. Tretta players that purchase at least two specially labeled Pokémon Pan products can trade-in the included vouchers at one of over 200 participating Namco arcade locations for a limited edition Darkrai Rookie Tretta. The exchange period is from October 3rd, 2014 until November 30th, 2014.

The Japanese Pokémon Centers will begin selling Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Hoenn Starters and Hoenn Legendaries Plushies starting on September 20th, 2014. They will also be available on the Amazon Pokémon Store starting on September 27th, 2014.

McDonalds Australia has announced that they will be packaging Pokémon XY toys with their Happy Meals. The Pokémon Battle Launchers that were released in the United States earlier in the year will be released in Australia now although only 8 toys will be distributed but all 12 TCG cards will be available to collect. The Pokémon XY Happy Meals are available now at participating McDonalds locations while supplies last.

As a follow-up to the POKÉMON Spooky Party, the official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that three more Halloween themed plushies will go on sale in September at the Japanese Pokémon Centers. The Perfect for Halloween! (ハロウィンにぴったり！) plushies also tie in with the Pokémon White Mega Gengar Campaign (ポケモン　白いメガゲンガーキャンペーン).

Japanese Actress Rika Adachi (足立梨花), who plays Marilyn in the 17th Pocket Monsters movie, did a few part time shifts at the Poke'mon the movieXY Exhibit ~Meet Pikachu at the Roppongi Hills Observation Deck~ (Poke'mon the movieXY展 ～六本木ヒルズ展望台でピカチュウに会おう！～) Pikachu Cafe on August 17th, 2014. Dressed up in a Pikachu themed maid costume, Rika said that while she insists she's not sexy in the slightest, she enjoyed the attention she got from wearing the outfit. The Pikachu Cafe is proving to be a very popular attraction with some people having to wait up to 200 minutes to be seated. More images from her shift are on the Imageboard thread.

Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon

To celebrate the launch of PokemonCenter.com, players of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y can get a special Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon via the Nintendo Network. The Poké Ball Pattern Vivillon had been distributed a few times outside of North America already. It is currently being distributed at Pokémon Centers in Japan and will be available to German players at Gamescon on August 14th, 2014. It will be available to download in North America until August 12th, 2014.

Alisa Ueno, a creative director and model for the Japanese female fashion brand FIG&VIPER, has created a line of Pokémon clothes that is a mix of fashion and Alisa's personality. The clothes will be sold at the Pokémon Centers starting in September of 2014.


Ueno Yusuna (ウエノ　アリサ) was born in 1989 and was a Ranzuki model. In September 2011, she began to produce the ladies fashion brand "FIG&VIPER". She works as the face of the brand as well as produces, models and does the PR for all the products. More than 170,000 people follower her on Instagram now and she has attracted attention from all over the world as well as in Japan as a fashion celebrity.
