The official Pokémon Hong Kong Facebook page has announced that Pocket Monsters Everyone's Story (劇場版 精靈寶可夢 我們的故事) will be in theaters in Hong Kong starting on December 13th, 2018. Warner Bros. Pictures in association with The Pokémon Company has released the first official trailer for the Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie. The movie will be in theaters in North American on May 11th, 2019. The official Pokémon Detective Pikachu website has also opened and a full poster for the movie has been released.

During the 2018 Pokémon World Championships, The Pokémon Company announced new game-changing cards for the TCG. TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX cards will be released in early 2019 and they feature pairs of Pokémon of the same type. Also, it was revealed that the Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie will be released in theaters on May 10th, 2019.

Based on the globally popular Pokémon brand, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us follows Ash and Pikachu as they join forces with a diverse new cast of characters to rescue a seaside town from a series of threatening incidents. Filled with unique challenges and thrilling Pokémon battles, and set during a festival celebrating the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, this heartwarming film illustrates the value of teamwork and putting aside each other’s differences.

McDonalds Japan has revealed its Pokémon Happy Set line of toys that will be available starting on July 6th, 2018. The price of a Happy Set is between 460 and 500 yen depending on which food is purchased. There are 8 different toys in the set and each one comes with a Move Disc that matches the Pokémon type.


This Happy Set box design features Pikachu and Eievui all over the box. There are also cut outs of Pikachu, Eievui and Lugia on the back of the box which can be placed and played with on a Monster Ball pattern on the side of the box.


Those that purchase the Pokémon Happy Set on July 7th and 8th, 2018, a Pokémon Everyone's Quiz & Puzzle Book will be included which is filled with fun information such as latest information on the movie, manga, quizzes and puzzles. 1 book per Happy Set will be distributed while supplies last.
