Trainers, It’s time to get cracking on an egg-citing event! From November 14 at 1:00 p.m. PST to November 27 at 1:00 p.m. PST, some Pokémon with evolved forms originally discovered in the Sinnoh region—such as Rhyhorn, Porygon, and Magby—will be present in 2 km Eggs! Check out the details below:

Niantic has announced a new feature for Pokémon GO called Adventure Sync which can record your walking distances in the background even when Pokémon GO isn’t launched.

New Adventure Sync keeps track of all your journeys!

Trainers, Exploring with Pokémon GO has never been easier with a new feature coming soon! Adventure Sync can record your walking distances even when Pokémon GO isn’t launched, working in the background to tally your distance, earn Candy, and hatch Eggs!

Plus, Adventure Sync will deliver a weekly summary, where you can see your Incubator and Candy progress as well as important activity statistics. Check in via your Trainer Profile to see the number of kilometers recorded for the week. Earn rewards each week for each milestone you cross, and receive push notifications when your Buddy Pokémon has found a Candy or when an Egg is about to hatch!

You can opt into Adventure Sync at any time, and the feature will connect to both Apple Health on Apple devices and Google Fit on Android devices.

Niantic have announced the details for the 11th Pokémon GO Community Day which takes place on November 10th, 2018 at 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM EST. The featured Pokémon for this day is Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil will appear in the wild more frequently for three hours that day. The 2x Catch XP and 2x Catch Stardust bonuses will also be available that day.

Plus, the Renegade Pokémon, Giratina, will make its first appearance in Raid Battles! Community Note: Upcoming Changes to Pokémon GO

Are you ready for a Sinnoh adventure? We’re excited to let you know that in preparation for the arrival of Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, we are making two key shifts to the game balance in the coming weeks. These changes are based on Trainer feedback and are designed to promote an improved overall experience.

Changes to Pokémon Migration and Behavior
As you explore the world of Pokémon GO, the following changes will affect the Pokémon that appear around you:

• We are making adjustments to weather and, moving forward, it will have a reduced effect on the rate at which Pokémon appear.
• As you explore a given area, you will notice that a greater variety of Pokémon species will appear over time and at different rates.
• Certain areas, such as parks and nature reserves, will now contain more varied Pokémon species.

Changes to Pokémon Effectiveness in Battle
We also wanted to use this opportunity to rebalance in-game battle mechanics. You may notice some of the following changes in the coming weeks:

• CP values will be adjusted going forward to improve game balance.
• HP values will be adjusted to close the gap between high HP Pokémon and low HP Pokémon.
• Pokémon Defense and Stamina values will be retroactively rebalanced, allowing highly defensive Pokémon to be valuable in battle by outlasting opponents rather than simply running out the clock.
• Defense values have also been slightly retroactively reduced for most Pokémon. Changes like these will help narrow the gap between Pokémon with the highest defensive stats and other Pokémon.

Moving forward, you can expect to see further tweaks designed to help Trainers and their Pokémon reach their full potential. We’re looking forward to experiencing these changes with you as we explore the world together! Let’s get out there and GO!
