Kris is the female protagonist from Crystal, being the first female protagonist of the series. She also looks similar to Lyra, who is the female protagonist in HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Game canon

If chosen as the protagonist in Crystal, Kris sets off on her adventure from New Bark Town with a starter Pokémon from Professor Elm. There, she takes on Johto Gym Leaders, takes down the newly revived Team Rocket, crosses paths with her rival Silver_Game, and becomes Indigo League Champion. After that, she goes to Kanto, beating the Gym Leaders there too. Finally, she takes on the legend of legends atop Mt. Silver: Red_Anime, defeating him.
In Pokémon Masters EX, Kris wants to become a really strong trainer and researcher, and is friends with Ethan, Silver_Game, and Lyra. However, she feels left out compared to the rest of them. Her partner is Totodile, which can evolve.

Pokémon the Series

Kris has a counterpart named Marina Dani in The Legend of Thunder, who is a famous Pokémon Coordinator and Idol. She later makes cameos in Diamond and Pearl.
