Biography
Volkner's Luxray was the first Pokémon that Volkner sent out to battle against Ash at the Sunyshore Gym. The battle was interrupted when the power went out and the match could not be decided.
During Ash's Gym battle, it was the last Pokémon Volkner sent out. It was able to defeat Pikachu but Ash's Infernape proved to be too powerful for it.
