POP-UP POKÉMON CENTER TO OPEN IN LONDON THIS OCTOBER

London, UK—August 5, 2019—The Pokémon Company International is excited to announce its plan to open a special pop-up Pokémon Center retail location in London this October. Located in Westfield London (Ariel Way, Shepherd’s Bush W12 7GF) and open only for a limited time from October 18 to November 15* 2019, the store will give fans a chance to browse and purchase a range of Pokémon Center-branded products, including exclusive designs not found anywhere else.

The app for iOS and Android has 10 different missions all around the airport. Download and play the Pokémon Explorer in Jewel Changi Airport and climb the leader boards by following these steps:


1) Download the "Jewel Changi Airport" app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). It is free to download.
2) Click on the Pokémon tab located at the bottom left of the home page.
3) Log in to your Changi Rewards account.
4) Create your Pokémon Explorer profile.

Pokémon Explorer is a collaboration between Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) and The Pokémon Company to encourage exploration within Jewel.

It was announced that a new version of the song "Type: Wild" will be sung by Shoko Nakagawa and "Fantasy In The Pocket" by Sachi and Juri will be featured as tracks on the CD release. The new Type: Wild song will debut as an ending theme on the TV anime series Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon on the July 7th, 2019 episode SM 129: Brawl! Battle Royal 151!!. The song was originally an ending theme used in the anime in 1998 and is still loved by Pokémon fans. This version of the song is arranged by Kenichi Maeyama (Hyadain) and it is a version both children and adults can enjoy.

The Limited Edition CD's also come with a Pikachu Pokémon TCG card featuring cgi artwork of Pikachu and Satoshi from the new movie as well as a mmts Pokémon Clear Pouch produced by Shoko Nakagawa and BEAMS. There are 5 different pouches and one is selected at random.


Those that buy a CD from a participating retailer can recieve a Postcard featuring the artwork of the cd cover. All Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores and the Pokémon Center Online will also be distributing an A4 sized Clear File on a first-come, first-served basis which also features the cover artwork.

On August 18th, 2019, Shoko Nakagawa's first children's event "Shoko Nakagawa Family Concert 2019 〜Ehon Tana no Sekai〜" will be held at the Koshigaya Sun City Hall Small Hall. The event was realized as "providing an opportunity for children to dream". She will read her original books and sing songs popular with children.
