Celebrating the Movie's Premiere! Legend/Legend Collaboration Artwork!!


"Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution" finally premieres Friday July 12th!
To celebrate this return of the legend itself, legendary manga artists and celebrities that love Pokémon
have drawn pictures based on "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution"!

These pictures will be posted on Corocoro Online,
where they will be presented alongside comments from the artists on a weekly basis,
starting today, June 7th, with a picture by Ryouji Minagawa.

The pictures will also be posted on the official Pokémon movie Twitter account alongside a countdown to the movie's premiere.



And who are these unbelievably amazing artists that will be drawing these pictures...?

*Friday June 7th:
The creator of "ARMS", "Spriggan" and "Dante, Ocean King", as well as secretly a huge Pokémon fan: Ryouji Minagawa
Artwork theme: "A Fierce Battle! Armored Mewtwo VS Iwark!!"


*Friday June 14th:
The rookie who won the right to write the "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution Comicalization" and "Pocket Monsters: Mewtwo! I Am Here" manga for the Corocoro Comic magazines due to their love for Pokémon: Machito Gomi
Artwork theme: "All Present! Satoshi, Kasumi, Takeshi and the Pokémon!!"


*Friday June 21st:
The author of "Pocket Monsters Corocoro Ver." and the first ever Pokémon manga creator: Kosaku Anakubo

You'll Get an Ancient Mew Card Via the "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution" Theater Pamphlet!!




A "Mew" Pokémon card with its text written in ancient letters is included as a free gift
with the theater pamphlet for "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution", which premieres Friday July 12th!

The back of the ancient Mew card has a different design from the normal cards.



The pamphlet goes on sale alongside the movie's premiere on Friday July 12th!
Details on the theater pamphlet will be revealed at a later date. Stay tuned!

The way to decipher the letters written on the card
is scheduled to be revealed on the Trainers' Website, the official Pokémon Card Game website,
on Friday May 24th, the same day we present the cards included in the expansion pack "Miracle Twins".

Sakaki from the Rocket Gang gave Mewtwo this restraining form that controls its power as it searched for the meaning behind its existence in this world.
