Step 6: The message "Searching for a gift" will be displayed.
Step 7: Choose the gift you want to receive.

If you are unable to receive the gift:

These are the messages that may be displayed if you are unable to receive the gift, and what to do in each case. Try the listed solution:
Case A: The serial code you entered is wrong:
If the game tells you "The serial code or password is wrong. Please double check the serial code or password you have." when you entered the serial code during step 5, some numbers or letters have been entered wrong.
Check the serial code written on the special pre-order ticket again and enter it one more time.
*Serial codes do not use the characters I, O or Z.
*If you enter the serial code wrong 10 times, you will be unable to enter a serial code for a limited period of time. Please try again after 24 hours.

Case B: The serial code has already been used:
If the game tells you "This serial code has already been used. Serial codes that have been used can not be used again in other save data files." when you entered the serial code during step 5, the serial code has already been used (once you have used a serial code, you can not use it again, not even in another save data file). If you have multiple games, please check that you haven't already received the gift in another game. If multiple users are playing the same game on the same Nintendo Switch, please check that another user hasn't used the serial code. You can check this by selecting "Link" -> "Mystery Gift" -> "Check Gifts" from the menu screen.

Case C: Airplane Mode is "ON":
If the game tells you "Please set Airplane Mode to "OFF". You can change this is the Quick Settings menu." when you entered the serial code during step 5, you are unable to connect to the Internet because the Nintendo Switch's Airplane Mode is set to "ON".
Please set Airplane Mode to "OFF" either by holding down the HOME button to access the Quick Settings or by using the "Airplane Mode" option in "Settings" on the Nintendo Switch HOME menu.

Case D: Your copy of "Pocket Monsters Let's Go! Pikachu/Let's Go! Eievui" is not the latest version:
If the game tells you "You will need to update your game. Please restart the game and update (when you restart, all data that has not been saved will be lost)." when you entered the serial code during step 5, your "Pocket Monsters Let's Go! Pikachu/Let's Go! Eievui" game's update data may not be the latest version. Please place the cursor on the game's icon on the HOME menu and press the + button.
When the menu appears, please select the "Update software" option, then choose "Update via the Internet" to receive the most recent update date.
*Updating is free.
"Pocket Monsters Let's Go! Pikachu/Let's Go! Eievui" ver.1.0.1 (as of March 2019)

Case E: Your Nintendo Switch is not the latest version:
When you connect your Nintendo Switch to the Internet, the message "Update data found. Downloading." may appear. If so, your Nintendo Switch system may not be the latest system version. Please follow the onscreen instructions to update it.
*Updating is free.
You can also update your system's data via the HOME menu. Connect your Nintendo Switch to the Internet, then choose the "Settings" icon on the HOME menu, then use the "System update" option in "System".

Masachika Ichimura is returning as a guest voice actor
in "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution", which premieres Friday July 12th!
He will be playing the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, just like he did in the first movie.

Ichimura gave us the following comment regarding his enthusiasm towards the second Pokémon movie he'll be appearing in,
as well as the Mewtwo role!

Mewtwo, the Pokémon that's a legend to everyone, is evolving further and returning once again.
This movie saw me waking my internal "Mewtwo soul" back up to perform the role.
This year's "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution", resurrected after 21 years, is the first ever Pokémon movie to be animated entirely in full 3DCG.
I want to bring the power of the legendary Pokémon "Mewtwo" to absolutely everyone...
both those of you that saw the first movie and those of you that didn't!
Come, come to the theater!

Story

Let the entire world know of this.
About the ultimate starting point.

The mythical Pokémon Mew is said to only show itself to adventurers who possess both "a pure heart and a strong desire to meet it". It is said to be the "origin" of all Pokémon, and as Pokémon researchers all over the world seek its whereabouts, a scientist finally discovers a Mew fossil and starts tempting God, involving himself in a forbidden act based around said fossil.

"Where is this? Who am I...?"

A legendary Pokémon born unto this world by the ego of a human that wanted to create a strong Pokémon. Its name is even Mewtwo. And as Mewtwo, serving as the ultimate weapon, repeatedly carried out experiments without even understanding why it existed, it harbored a hatred towards the human that had birthed it.

"I hereby strike back at the mankind that birthed me!"

At long last, the complete, immortal masterpiece STRIKES BACK all over the world in full 3DCG the summer of 2019!!
