This is my favorite part of the first Pokémon OVA.
It's still some pretty basic and run-of-the-mill winter special, but just like the previous one, it's quite cute and is pretty nice to watch. I just loved how Koduck just smashes his head in the snow to make footprints, and when Fushigidane used Zenigame as a huma... I mean Pokémon sledge.
I believe it's the first time I've seen a baby Karura out of his mother's 'pocket' (for lack of a better term...). I don't remember that happening in any other episode, though I can't say I remember all the early seasons episodes.
Usually, I'm not too fond of Pokémon-only episodes (like the ANA shorts), but I really liked those two Christmas/Winter specials.
