My-Cartoon has announced that the first Pocket Monsters Best Wishes DVD box set will be released in Taiwan on October 7th, 2011 for $1,680 Taiwanese Dollars. The set features the first 26 episodes of the series. The 7 disc box set features Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks in Japanese and Chinese Mandarin as well as a subtitle track in Chinese Mandarin. The video is 16:9 and NTSC.

A new DVD box set has been announced for release in Japan on January 18th, 2012. Pocket Monsters BW Pokémon TV Anime Collection DVD ～Pokémon Battle～ (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ ポケモンTVアニメコレクションDVD ～ポケモンバトル～) is an 8 disk DVD set similar to previous box sets released in the past. A sweepstakes has been announced for legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C which began on September 6, 2011 at 9:00am PT and will end on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 9:00 AM PT. Residents of the United States are asked to view the contest page every day for a chance to win awesome Pokémon prizes! They will be giving away 1 of 25 prizes each week, and 1 Grand Prize at the end of September!

The weekly prizes include: a Pokémon Trading Card Game Zoroark kit, a Pokémon figure and a copy of Pokémon Zoroark: Master of Illusions on DVD. Magna Pacific has released information about their latest Pokémon DVD and Blu-ray's to be released later this year. Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom were originally scheduled for release on November 30th, 2011 however they are having difficulties receiving the masters in time for that release date and had to delay the release. The releases are now likely to be January 2012, however a Magna Home Entertainment representative has informed us that the new release date has yet to be confirmed. The movies will be released individually on Blu-ray and DVD.

Scheduled for release in Australia by Magna Pacific on September 14th, 2011 are: Pokémon All-Stars: Totodile, Pokémon All-Stars: Cyndaquil, Pokémon All-Stars: Chikorita and the Kanto & Orange Islands Collection.

The latest ANA short Pocket Monsters Diamond&Pearl Pikachu's Really Mysterious Adventure (ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド・パール ピカチュウのふしぎなふしぎな大冒険 ) was released on DVD in Japan on Saturday.

A lost Unknown meets Pikachu and Pochama and an Eneco who decide to help it find its way back to its home and friends. They travel through many strange and mysterious realms while on their adventure. Will Unknown return to its realm safely or will Rocket Gang manage to capture it!?

The DVD release dates for the Pokémon Zoroark: Master of Illusions have now been announced for North America, the United Kingdom and Denmark. The DVD and Blu-ray of this movie were released last month in Australia but now other regions of the world will be able to purchase it. This movie also aired today on TV Tokyo in place of the weekly Pocket Monsters Best Wishes episode. Below is the press release for the UK Edition of the DVD which will be released on August 29th, 2011. The North American DVD will be released on September 20th, 2011 and will be one of the last regions in the world to get this movie on DVD even though it was announced at the beginning of the year at the American International Toy Fair 2011.
