The official Pokémon TCG Twitter account announced that the new Pokémon TCG Live App which was officially revealed in September 2021, has been delayed till 2022.

To provide Trainers with a more polished experience, the Pokémon TCG Live mobile soft launch in Canada, and global open beta for desktop, have been shifted to 2022.

We’ll have more to share soon on timing for both this testing period and the full launch of Pokémon TCG Live.

Additionally, some of you may have recently received code cards with Pokémon TCG Live branding as part of some Pokémon TCG products. Though Pokémon TCG Live is not available at this time, please know these cards are still redeemable in Pokémon TCG Online.

Niantic has announced new changes to the Season of Mischief which will starts on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Global Bonus Changes:

Trainers, As a result of our recent task force discussions, we will be replacing the two current sets of region-based bonuses with one set of global bonuses at the start of the Season of Mischief.

Because these changes will begin at the start of the Season, we wanted to make sure we shared this information prior to our full task force update on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

During the Season of Mischief, Trainers in the United States and New Zealand will see the following bonus updates.

New bonuses:

• 3× bonus XP for spinning PokéStops for the first time
• 2× Lure duration
• Increased Incense effectiveness
• Additional Incense effectiveness while walking
• Boosted damage for Trainers battling remotely in raids
• Guaranteed Gifts from PokéStop spins
• Buddy Pokémon will bring you Gifts more often

Bonuses no longer in effect:

• 10× XP for spinning PokéStops for the first time
• Up to two free Raid passes per day by spinning Gym Photo Discs

During the Season of Mischief, Trainers outside the United States and New Zealand will see the following bonus updates:

The official Pokémon website has announced the streaming details of the Pokémon Players Cup 25th Anniversary Invitational which takes place August 13th, 2021 to August 15th, 2021.

Players Cup 25th Anniversary Invitational streaming August 13–15. Featuring eight of the best video game players and eight of the best Pokémon TCG players from around the world, the invitational is an epic clash of Pokémon world titans. Over the course of the invitational, these top players from throughout Play! Pokémon history will battle head-to-head through a double-elimination bracket in a quest to become the champion's champion.

Fans can watch the action unfold on Pokémon's Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter channels August 13–15, with a preshow taking place August 13 and eight-hour broadcasts on August 14 and 15.

The Pokémon Information Bureau's official Japanese Twitter account (@poke_times ) is holding a campaign to celebrate its 1 millionth follower! On Saturday, May 29th, 2021, the official Twitter account surpassed one million followers and the account was initially made on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018. To commemorate this one millionth follower, they have recreated a life-size model of the one million yen bicycle that appears in Pocket Monsters Red and Green!

Here's the finished model! A lot of attention to detail has gone into it.

From Saturday, June 12th, 2021 to Sunday, July 18th, 2021, Eievui's Pokémon Center Exploration Operation (イーブイたちのポケモンセンター探検大作戦) will be held at Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, the Pokémon Centers Online, Pokémon Cafes, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafes nationwide in Japan!

The campaign may be postponed, changed, or cancelled due to guidance or policy statements by the government, local authorities, regulatory agencies, or health centers. Some Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores have changed their business hours or are temporarily closed due to COVID-19 infection prevention measures taken by commercial facilities.


In celebration of the release of the Eievui Collection, the Pokémon Information Bureau Twitter account will be holding a giveaway campaign! From June 4th, 2021 to June 11th, 2021, those who participate in the campaign will receive an original Eievui Collectionwallpaper! The official Japanese Pokémon Card Game website has announced a special Solving Riddles PokéCard Campaign (ナゾトキポケカキャンペーン) will take place via Twitter and an official Pokémon Card Game subsite from May 28th, 2021 until June 17th, 2021. The contest prize only ships to addresses in Japan.
