About the Author

Jarrett Melendez grew up on the mean, deer-infested streets of Bucksport, Maine. A former chef and line cook, Jarrett has worked in restaurants, diners, and bakeries throughout New England and Mexico, and got instruction on Japanese home cooking from some very patient host mothers when he lived in Tokyo and Hiroshima. He’s been a professional writer since 2009, but started working as a recipe developer and food writer in 2020. His work has appeared on Bon Appétit, Saveur, Epicurious, and Food52, and he is the author of The Comic Kitchen, an upcoming fully illustrated, comic-style cookbook. When not cooking and writing about food, Jarrett is also an award winning comic book writer. LOTTE has announced that 18 different Crunchy Crunch Chocolate and Cookies & Cream bars with Pokémon design branding will be released on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023. Each bar features a different Pokémon, with 9 different Chocolate and 9 different Cookies & Cream bars for a total of 18 different Pokémon bars.



The backs of the wrappings can be cut out and collected for a dex and the tops of the packages can be connected to reveal various monster balls, making them fun to collect! The product is crunchy, delicious, and fun to look at. The estimated retail price of each bar is 129 yen (including tax).

When a coin is placed on the plate engraved with a Monster Ball on the top of the box, Eievui will respond with: "Bui!" and it will then reach out and pull the coin into the box. The 12th Pocket Monsters movie Arceus - Towards the Continuum of Conquest is being re-released in theaters nationwide in South Korea starting on May 31st, 2023. A number of theater gifts will be distributed to promote the movie showing. The serial codes can be used in Pokémon Scarlet or Violet.


The first week, a total of three gifts will be distributed including: a serial code for a Pikachu Colored Pichu, the promo card Arceus V, and a special gift for Pokémon GO featuring 10x Poké Balls and 5x Great Balls. In the second week, starting on June 10th, 2023, a special Arceus Pokémon Ga-olé disk will be distributed, which features the Mythical Pokémon Arceus from the movie. The movie title logo will be on the label of the disk.

To promote the release of the movie, another serial code for a Bronzong based upon the one used by Marcus will also be distributed to those that spend at least 60,000 won in merchandise at the Pokémon Store Online. The codes will be available starting on April 28th, 2023 at 18:00 until they run out.

Available this time are: Upah (Paldean form), Pupimocchi, and Hulkujira. Enjoy the feeling of adventure with these three unique plushies! The Pokémon Center Online will start selling them on April 27th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.!

At the Amazon.co.jp Pokémon Store, pre-orders will be starting on April 29th, 2023, and sales starting on May 6th, 2023, but due to the limited number of products available, they may be sold during the pre-order period.
