Tour Pass

What is Tour Pass?

The Tour Pass is a free, limited-time progression track during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global. By collecting Tour Points, you can unlock rewards, increase your rank, and improve your event bonuses.

All Trainers will automatically receive their Tour Pass at no cost on Monday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You can collect Tour Points and rank up to get additional rewards through the end of the event on Sunday, March 2, at 6:00 p.m. local time.

Rewards unlocked in the Tour Pass will expire on Sunday, March 9, at 6:00 p.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone!

What is Tour Pass Deluxe?

A paid version of the Tour Pass, called Tour Pass Deluxe, will be available for Trainers looking for upgraded rewards and faster progression. When you upgrade to a Tour Pass Deluxe, you’ll get an immediate encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini! All Trainers can encounter Victini by purchasing a Tour Pass Deluxe, even if they’ve caught it before!

While progressing through the Tour Pass Deluxe, you’ll be able to claim all of the rewards from both the free Tour Pass and Tour Pass Deluxe. You can upgrade to a Tour Pass Deluxe at any time and still collect rewards from previously unlocked tiers.

Trainers with the Tour Pass Deluxe can also earn a brand new item, the Lucky Trinket, when they reach the highest tier!

Rewards unlocked in the Tour Pass Deluxe will expire on Sunday, March 9, at 6:00 p.m. local time, so be sure to claim your rewards before they’re gone!

Collecting Tour Points

While you’ll begin your Tour Pass with no points, your first reward will already be unlocked—the GO Tour 2025 Tee avatar item! You can collect Tour Points to reach larger rewards, unlocking items and ranking up as you go.

You can earn Tour Points in two ways. Activities like catching Pokémon, completing raids, and hatching Eggs will each earn you a small amount of points. The more you play, the more you earn!

Want to earn points faster? A new type of task, Pass Tasks, will be available, and completing them will award you even more points! Completing these quick, event-themed tasks will help you collect more points and rank up, getting you to more rewards in less time.

Pass Tasks refresh daily from Monday, February 24, at 10:00 a.m. to Friday, February 28, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. local time. During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, Pass Tasks will refresh every hour from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time each day.

Ranking Up

By collecting Tour Points, you’ll see yourself progress through the Tour Pass tiers, made up of Minor and Major Milestones. On your way to Minor and Major Milestones, you can unlock small rewards like Pokémon encounters, Pokémon Candy, Poké Balls, and more. Milestones yield even larger rewards, like stickers, avatar items, and even a special Pokémon encounter.

Each time you reach a Major Milestone, you’ll also increase your event bonuses. During Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, you’ll increase your Catch XP bonus for each major milestone you hit.

• 1.5× Catch XP upon reaching Tier 2
• 2× Catch XP upon reaching Tier 3
• 3× Catch XP upon reaching Tier 4

It’s your lucky day! The Lucky Trinket, a new item in Pokémon GO, will debut as the final reward in the Tour Pass Deluxe during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global.

A Lucky Trinket is a one-time-use item that can be used to turn one friend from your Friend List into a Lucky Friend. When used, the Lucky Trinket will set the status of you and your chosen friend to Lucky, even if you aren’t Best Friends yet! When you’re Lucky Friends with someone, the next time you trade with each other, both Pokémon will become Lucky Pokémon. After the trade, your Lucky Friend status will be cleared.

This exciting item will only stay in your Item Bag for a limited time, so don’t forget to use it! The Lucky Trinket earned as a part of Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global will expire on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. local time, regardless of when you claimed it.

You must be at least Great Friends with the Trainer you wish to apply your Lucky Trinket to. You cannot use a Lucky Trinket with a Trainer you are currently Lucky Friends with. Using a Lucky Trinket on a friend does not change the distance at which you can complete a trade. If you do not want to allow other Trainers to use their Lucky Trinkets on you, you can disable this permission in your Settings page.

Pokémon Debuts

Black Kyurem and White Kyurem will make their Pokémon GO debuts in five-star raids during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova! Pokémon fusion is the ability to combine certain Pokémon into a single, more powerful form with an altered appearance. By using DNA Splicers, Kyurem can fuse with Zekrom using Volt Fusion Energy to become Black Kyurem, or it can fuse with Reshiram using Blaze Fusion Energy to become White Kyurem.

Black Kyurem and White Kyurem cannot be traded, transferred to the professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

How to Fuse Kyurem

Trainers will have the opportunity to catch Kyurem* in its unfused form after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in raids.


Black Kyurem: Trainers can fuse Kyurem and Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy.
White Kyurem: Trainers can fuse Kyurem and Reshiram using 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy.

Fused Kyurem will remain in this form until their Trainer separates them. Separating will not cost any Fusion Energy or Pokémon Candy.

That’s not all! Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global will feature two Special Backgrounds for you to collect—one inspired by Pokémon Black Version and one inspired by Pokémon White Version. When you fuse a Reshiram or Zekrom that has a Special Background with a Kyurem that has the opposite color Special Background, the fused Black Kyurem or White Kyurem will have its own variant background!

*If you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny one!

New Special Backgrounds!

Trainers who participate in five-star raids during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global will have a chance of receiving new Special Backgrounds after making a successful catch. These souvenir backgrounds will appear on the Pokémon’s summary page, showing when the Pokémon was caught and commemorating your adventures during Pokémon GO Tour!

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global will feature two Special Backgrounds for you to collect—one inspired by Pokémon Black Version and one inspired by Pokémon White Version.

• Reshiram can have a background inspired by Pokémon Black Version
• Zekrom can have a background inspired by Pokémon White Version
• Kyurem encountered in its unfused form after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in raids could have either background!

Plus, when you fuse a Zekrom or Reshiram or that has a Special Background with a Kyurem that has a Special Background of the opposite color, the fused Black Kyurem or White Kyurem will have its own variant background!

Fuse to Unlock New Attacks

A new appearance isn’t the only thing that happens when Pokémon fuse! When you fuse a Kyurem that knows the Charged Attack Glaciate with Zekrom or Reshiram, Glaciate will transform into a new attack!

Black Kyurem’s Freeze Shock:
After fusing Zekrom with a Kyurem that knows the Charged Attack Glaciate, Glaciate will transform into the Charged Attack Freeze Shock. Freeze Shock will change back to Glaciate when Zekrom is separated from Kyurem.

White Kyurem’s Ice Burn: After fusing Reshiram with a Kyurem that knows the Charged Attack Glaciate, Glaciate will transform into the Charged Attack Ice Burn. Ice Burn will change back to Glaciate when Reshiram is separated from Kyurem.

*Smeargle that appear via surprise encounters in GO Snapshot can learn attacks from the Pokémon they appear with, but Smeargle can’t learn Freeze Shock or Ice Burn.

Collectiong Fusion Energy

Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy are very rare sources of power that can fuse Kyurem into its powerful alternate forms.

Trainers can obtain early access to Volt Fusion Energy and Blaze Fusion Energy after defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in raids at this year’s in-person Pokémon GO Tour events in Los Angeles and New Taipei City.*

Starting with Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global, all Trainers will be able to earn Volt Fusion Energy or Blaze Fusion Energy by defeating Black Kyurem or White Kyurem in raids.

Kotobukiya has revealed the full details for the ARTFX J Victor with Scorbunny (ARTFX J マサル with ヒバニー) figure. It will be released in Japan in June 2025 for 15,400 yen including tax. An Imageboard thread has been added with pictures and artwork of this figure.


The ARTFX J Gloria with Sobble figure was released in Japan in June 2021 for 9,800 yen.
