Biography
Flint's Infernape was first seen when Ash was captured by the autodefence hands of the Sunyshore Gym. Flint sent out his Infernape to rescue Ash.
After Flint friend and rival Volkner, leader of the Sunyshore Gym wasn't willing to participate in a battle for a gym badge with Ash, Flint agreed to battle Ash hoping it would motivate Volkner again. Flint's Infernape defeated Ash's Pokémon in a battle at the Sunyshore Gym which featured Ash's Infernape, Buizel and Pikachu.

Pokémon World Championships Master Class Battle vs Leon's Charizard
Flint's Infernape battled against Leon's Charizard in a Pokémon World Championships Master Class Battle that Ash Ketchum just managed to see the end of at the Shoot Stadium in the Galar region. Charizard was able to avoid the deciding Infernape attack, a Mach Punch by using Flamethrower to give it some distance away from Infernape. It then followed up with a Dragon Claw, knocking Infernape to the ground to win the match. As a result of the match, Flint's ranking dropped from 7th to 8th.
