On August 18th, 2023, the official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account reminded that this episode was available to watch on the official Japanese YouTube channel. The video was region locked to Japan only. It was available from August 18th, 2023 to August 25th, 2023. This episode was specifically labeled as a missed-program webcast (見逃し配信).

The episode was also available on the TV Tokyo YouTube channel and the Official Corocoro Channel and were labeled as limited-time delivery (期間限定配信). The TV Tokyo version included the series trailer at the end of the episode where as the Corocoro version had beginning and ending bumpers promoting Corocoro.

As part of the Summer is all about Pokémon! campaign, the official Japanese Anipoke Twitter promoted the 2023 Chao×Ribbon Girls Comic Festival, which took place on August 19th and 20th, 2023. Attendees could have a photo session with Liko, Roy, Friede and Captain Pikachu.

"Cap flew in the sky!?" Roy's Hogator and Kaiden, who were always fighting, bonded last time by working together to battle Cap. During that battle, Liko and Roy witnessed Cap flying in the sky! The two decided to hit up Friede to find out its secret!

Liko and Roy are eager to know Cap's secret. With the help of the other members, including Orio, who says she's a childhood friend of Freide's, they convince Friede to talk. He says he is embarrassed to talk about the past, but finally gives in and explains. It was the story of how Friede and Cap met and how the Rising Volt Tackler's was formed......
