Who's the favorite!? Gurumin Fan Showdown!

Broadcasting every week from 6:55 pm! The anime "Pocket Monsters" will start airing soon! In this article, we'll introduce you to the Pokémon and characters that will appear in today's episode, as well as comments from the voice actors and director, and other information you won't find anywhere else!


Dot is a streamer under the name Gurumin. During one of her streams, a viewer commented that they saw the Black Rayquaza!! Liko and Roy immediately head to the town where the fan who reported the sighting lives, but... the person who shows up at the meeting place turns out to be an avid Gurumin fan!!


▲ The person who showed up at the meeting place was...... It's easy to tell just by just looking them! It was Nyabi-ko, an avid Gurumin fan!


▲ This passionate Gurumin fan can be easily spotted even in a crowd as they are dressed up in homemade Gurumin merchandise!


▲ The name Nyabi-ko is taken from her favorite Pokémon, Nyabby.


▲ Roy was surprised by the unexpected outfit, but Liko looked happy as a Gurumin fan!

They immediately try to get the information on the Black Rayquaza that Nyabi-ko saw, but as soon as Liko and the others told her the name "Rising Volt Tacklers", Nyabi-ko's attitude completely changed. The atmosphere became very awkward......!!


▲ At first, the fan was excited talking about Gurumin... But when she found out that Liko and the others were members of the Rising Volt Tacklers, she suddenly became cold towards them!


▲ After the Rakua incident, it seems that many people think that the Rising Volt Tacklers are a bad group.

Nyabi-ko and Liko end up battling! Even though the matchup is unfavorable against Nyabby, could Masquernya win...?! Just when you think that, Nyabi-ko sends out a different Pokémon that turns out to be Gaogaen! What will Liko do!!


▲ The opponent in the battle was supposed to be Nyabby! Or so they thought, but Nyabi-ko had also raised a Gaogaen.!


▲ Gaogaen is a very unfavorable opponent for Liko's Masquernya!


▲ Then Uruto, who had been following Roy, appears again, leaving Liko and the others stunned in confusion!


▲ What more, Uruto appears to have brought trouble with him... causing even more chaos!!?

▲初めはファン同士、ぐるみんの話で盛り上がっていたのだが…。リコたちがライジングボルテッカーズだと知ると急に冷たい態度に!?
▲やはりラクアの一件から、ライジングボルテッカーズを悪い集団だと思っている人も多いようだ。
そしてついにはニャビ子とリコがバトルをすることになってしまう！　ニャビーが相手なら相性は不利とはいえマスカーニャで勝てるか……!?
と思ったらニャビ子が繰り出したポケモンはなんとガオガエン！　どうするリコ!!
▲バトルの相手はニャビー！　かと思いきや、ちゃんとガオガエンも育てていたニャビ子。
▲リコのマスカーニャにとってガオガエンはかなり不利な相手！
▲そこへ、またロイのあとをつけてきたウルトも現れてリコたちは混乱！
▲しかもウルトは新たなトラブルを引き連れて現れたようで……さらに大混乱!!?

I made my debut as a writer with a novel themed around being a fan, so Nyabi-ko was particularly fun to write.
