Shogakukan released the Elementary School First Year Student April 2024 Issue (小学一年生 2024年４月号) on February 22nd, 2024 in Japan. Included with the issue are 5 souvenir items for kids to celebrate their first year in school. A Captain Pikachu Talking Clock Alarm (キャプテンピカチュウおしゃべりめざましどけい) is the main item being distributed with this issue. The issue costs 2,200 yen.

Captain Pikachu Talking Clock Alarm

It's an alarm clock that wakes you up with Captain Pikachu's cheerful voice. Not only will you learn how to read a clock, but the design will make you want to display it in your room.

There are 5 different voices including: "Pika〜ka Pika Pika!" and "Pika Pika! Pika, Pikachu!" Since it plays randomly, you'll be looking forward to hearing what voice wakes you up every morning. When you can't wake up, it switches to Captain Pikachu's "Move voice". If you wake up properly, Captain Pikachu will praise you!
