Bel's Zukan C-Gear Skin

Players of the Japanese version of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 can unlock Bel's Zukan C-Gear Skin by entering the password: たのしく from December 4th, 2012 until January 29th, 2013. Our B2W2 C-Gear page has been updated with the latest information.

Take in the sights of Dream Park, the latest area you can visit in the Pokémon Dream World! Encounter Pokémon that have never previously appeared in the Pokémon Dream World, play a cool new minigame, and find Berries and other items you can bring back to your game. What’s more, the Pokémon you’ll meet will vary depending on whether the Pokémon you’ve tucked in is from Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2, or from Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version. If you’re having trouble reaching Dream Park, try tucking in a Normal-type Pokémon to improve your chances of getting there.

Also, when you enter the Pokémon Dream World, check out new Décor items for your home. You can see these new items, including wall decorations, furniture, and more, in your Dream Catalogue!

To celebrate the Christmas season, the Tohoko Pokémon Center will be distributing a Happy Christmas Victini to players of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. This special Victini is Level 100 and knows the moves: V-Create, Blue Flare, Bolt Strike and Glaciate. All four moves are ones that Victini normally cannot know. It also comes with the Soothe Bell item. Victini will be distributed at the Tohoko Pokémon Center from December 8th, 2012 until January 6th, 2013. The Tohoko Pokémon Center will be closed December 31st, 2012 and January 1st, 2013.

Pokémon Happy Christmas 2012 events will also be held in Fukushima Prefecture on November 25th, 2012 and in Iwate Prefecture December 2nd, 2012 where the Happy Christmas Victini will also be distributed and other events will take place. There will be a Pokémon Christmas tree exhibition, a Pokémon Workshop Corner, a Pokémon Kids Carnival (which costs 300yen to participate), a Pokémon Center sales corner and much more.

The official Pokémon website has released further information on the previously announced upcoming Dream World area "Dream Park".

The area will be available starting November 21st, and will be a colorful playground park full of Pokémon-shaped items. A number of new Pokémon, all having a hidden Ability, will be available through this area. All players will have access to Kailios (Pinsir), Heracros (Heracross), Taneboh (Seedot) and Kinococo (Shroomish), hile those accessing the area using Black 2 or White 2 carts will also be able to meet Dokkorer (Timburr), Nageki (Throh), Dageki (Sawk) and Zuruggu (Scraggy). Additional Pokémon will also be available.

The area will also feature a new minigame, "Board Game" (ボード遊び), where players will ride a board over water, attempting to glide as far as possible. Player can choose between three different boards, a "Speed Type", a "Jump Type" and a "Bound Type".

A number of new items will be added to the Dream Catalog, which players can purchase using new berries obtainable within the Dream Park area. These items will be a new Dream Home named "Castle Keep" (てんしゅかく) and a series of new interior items named the "Japanese Series" (ジャパニーズシリーズ) labels. The Japanese Series will include the following: Heating Table (こたつ), Stair Cabinet (かいだんたんす), Wall Scroll (かけじく), Bonsai Tree (ぼんさい), Fan (Grass) (おうぎ(くさ)), Fan (Fire) (おうぎ(ほのお)), Fan (Water) (おうぎ(みず)) and Hyper Ball Mat (ハイパーボールマット).

The official Japanese Pokémon website announced another cup tournament for players of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. The Christmas Cup (クリスマスカップ) Wi-Fi tournament rules state that it will be Double Battles and it is open to all Pokémon except Perap (ペラップ) as they can use the move Chatter.

The registration period is from December 14th, 2012 at 13:00 until December 20th, 2012 at 23:59. The tournament will take place from December 21st, 2012 until December 24th, 2012 at 23:59.

CarnivaRunpappa! (カーニバルンパッパ!)

The official Japanese Pokémon website also announced that a new musical for Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 would be released for Japanese players from November 21st, 2012 until January 10th, 2013 at 23:59. This is the third musical distributed for B2W2 and the second unique one for the games. The musical will have an unique arrangement of music from the Pocket Monsters Ruby and Sapphire games to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

In conjunction with the anime series Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Season 2 which will begin airing Isshu League episodes starting with BWS2-19 The Isshu League Higaki Tournament Begins! Satoshi VS Shootie!! (開幕 イッシュリーグ・ヒガキ大会!サトシ対シューティー!!) on November 22nd, 2012, a Pokémon World Tournament Isshu League download has been announced.

Players of the Japanese versions of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 will able to download this tournament from December 3rd, 2012 until January 31st, 2013.

The characters in the downloaded tournament include: Shootie, Kenyan, Kotetsu and Virgil and they correspond to their anime equivalents.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pocket Monsters Ruby and Sapphire, it has been announced that players of the Japanese versions of Pocket Monsters Black 2 and White 2 can receive Groudon or Kyogre. Pokémon Centers and participating retailers across Japan including Ion, Ito, Daiei, Toys R Us, Al Plaza, Heiwado, Fuji, Apita, Piago will be distributing these Pokémon. Players that have Black 2 will be able to receive Groudon. Players that have White 2 will receive Kyogre. The event distribution will will run from November 21st, 2012 until January 10th, 2013.

The official Japanese Pokémon website updated on Thursday November 15th, with further information regarding this event. Both Groudon and Kyogre are level 100. Groudon knows the following moves: Eruption, Hammer Arm, Earth Power and Solarbeam. Kyogre knows the following moves: Water Spout, Thunder, Ice Beam and Sheer Cold.

Dream World Godibomi

A special Godibomi (고디보미) will be available to be unlocked for those that entered a unique code that can be found in the Pocket Monsters Black 2 White 2 Official National PokéDex Completion Guide (포켓몬스터 블랙 2 · 화이트 2 속성공략가이드). The guide book went on sale on November 8th, 2012. The Godibomi (고디보미) is available on the Korean Dream World from November 8th, 2012 until July 31st, 2013 and it has the hidden ability Shadow Tag.

New C-Gears and PokéDolls for Korea

For players of the Korean versions of Pokémon Black and White as well as Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 who register a copy of one game from each set from November 8th, 2012 until January 31st, 2013 will unlock Juribiyan (주리비얀), Ttukkuri (뚜꾸리) and Sudaengi (수댕이) PokéDolls which will be available in February of 2013. Players will also unlock the Victini, Reshiram and Zekrom C-Gear skins.

Pikachu, Zekrom and Reshiram PokéDolls will also be available in Korea from November 9th, 2012 at 15:00 until December 20th, 2012 at 15:00 with the password 2년후의하나지방.
