The announcer introduced the show by saying: "And today we will produce our new Pokémon Bakery on Pokémon Smash!". Yamamoto announced that Gunma Prefecture Day (群馬県民の日) was on October 28th. "In 1871, the Meiji Government abolished feudal domains and instead put in place prefectures to enhance centralization of power." (Source). Students generally have the day off from school but teachers don't. Yamamoto then playing as a teacher had a fill in the blank question for the crew: Stand! Eyes Forward! Bow! Return to seat! (起立! 注目! 礼! 着席!). Baba and Akiyama managed to solve it and then Yamamoto left the room and the rest of the crew acted out the saying as if they were students by standing, looking at Yamamoto, bowing to him and then returning to their seats.

The popular magazine Wired posted an article in September of 2012 that in 1998, a secret United States Army intelligence analysis suggested a new way to take out enemies by using electromagnetic energy until their brains overload and they start to convulse. The idea for the weapon actually came from the Pocket Monsters episode Computer Soldier Porygon (でんのうせんしポリゴン) which only aired once in Japan as a scene where Pikachu uses its Thunderbolt caused approximately 700 children to have seizures. Excerpts from the Wired article are posted below. The full article is available at Wired.

The Pokémon Plot: How One Cartoon Inspired the Army to Dream Up a Seizure Gun

Application of “electromagnetic pulses” could force neurons to all fire at once, causing a “disruption of voluntary muscle control,” reads a description of a proposed seizure weapon, contained in a declassified document from the Army’s National Ground Intelligence Center. “It is thought by using a method that would actually trigger nerve synapses directly with an electrical field, essentially 100% of individuals would be susceptible to seizure induction.”

Perhaps the most disturbing item on the Army’s nonlethal wish list: a weapon that would disrupt the chemical pathways in the central nervous system to induce a seizure. The idea appears to have come from an episode of Pokemon.

“The photic-induced seizure phenomenon was borne out demonstrably on December 16, 1997 on Japanese television when hundreds of viewers of a popular cartoon were treated, inadvertently, to photic seizure induction,” the analysis noted. That cartoon was Pokemon, and the incident received worldwide attention. About 700 viewers showed symptoms of epilepsy — mostly vomiting — an occasional, if strange, occurrence with TV shows and videogames due to rapid, flashing lights.

The 100th episode of Pokémon Smash aired on Sunday, September 2nd, 2012 after almost 2 years since it premiered on October 3rd, 2010. The 100th episode featured: The Promise with Lugia! / A Detailed Summary of the Pokémon Movie 15th Anniversary Event 'Pikachu the Live 2012' and the Roleplaying Winners from the ongoing cosplay contest appeared on stage at the Anniversary Event.

The regular opening sequence and ending did not air in this episode. The episode started off with Robert informing viewers that it was the 100th episode of the series. Baba then said the 100th episode would include Pikachu the Live 2012 and the remaining part of that would be shown on next weeks episode. Baba then did the regular Professor Red go to line but slightly modified: "100th Anniversary Special! Go!" (100回記念スペシャル!).

After the Pokémon Library episode, scenes from the Pikachu the Live 2012 concert were shown. The event took place on August 16th, 2012 at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall. The rest of the Smash cast joined Robert on the Smash set just as Nyarth from Rocket Gang took over the television feed and greeted the Smash audience with a "Rockenyarning (Rocket+nya/Nyarth+morning)" (ロケニャーニング!), a variation of "Pokémorning" that's used on the show. Nyarth then informs them that the Rocket Gang has kidnapped the children and taken them to the Pokemon Movie World. Obviously, the entire Smash crew gets angry and heads off to save them thus starting the coverage of the actual stage show.

The stage show starts off with Golgo greeting the audience with a "Pokémorning". The Smash girls show up and then Robert showed up wearing noh masks. Baba and Yamamoto take their masks off but Golgo has to yell at Akiyama to take his off. He finally does only to show that he was wearing similar makeup underneath that matched the mask. Professor Red then showed up and pushed in his latest invention, the RED 076 Time Travelling into the Movies (ときわたりでエイガハイレール). Shoko-tan talks to the car but when Robert tried to talk to it, it didn't respond to them until Akiyama yelled at it. The entire cast got into the vehicle and it turned to show that Robert were peddling to get it to work. They then peddle off the stage.

The vehicle returned in a smaller form with all the cast members in it. Shinji Miyazaki was on hand as the live orchestra's conductor as they played the tracks from the first, second and third movies. The Smash crew returned on stage to see the kids that had been kidnapped were in a cage. The only way to get to them was up stairs that were blocked by ice crystals. Akiyama then noticed a couple of Unknown. Golgo wonder what Akiyama is doing and he explains there are Unknown but they disappear just as Golgo goes to look. Then suddenly a bunch of them show up. Then then spell out: Akiyama's Stupid (あきやまアホ).

The Smash crew finally manage to move one of the crystals only to see that Rocket Gang thugs are at the top with some big 'boulders'. Baba and Yamamoto each tried to get up but were hit by the boulders. Akiyama then tried to get up but decided to go back down. The international girls then all decided to go up at the same time and they managed to get up and free the cosplay winner kids from the cage. The winners were then revealed.

Rica Matsumoto (松本梨香) then sang Becoming an Arrow! (やじるしになって!), the first opening theme for Pocket Monsters Best Wishes Season 2 live for the audience.

The crew then fast forwarded to the 4th Pocket Monsters movie and a short clip of Shinji Miyazaki conducting tracks from the 4th, 5th and 6th movies was shown. Nyarth then returns and introduces the Rocket Gang Magic Show. A couple of Rocket Gang magicians show up and Maria tries to stop one but she is quickly subdued and put in a box. Maria is then compressed to just her head and feet. Red and Hana come to Maria's rescule and they uncompress her. The Rocket Gang Magicians then move Baba and Yamamoto's heads to their chest. Akiyama then starts crying and then manages to fix Baba and Yamamoto. Golgo sneezes and Baba and Yamamoto's heads once again go to their chest and Golgo farts to return Yamamoto's head back to its normal position.

Golgo was then put in a Sword box and it was put on fire but he managed to escape from being injured. Then more of the cosplay contest kids came out on stage to show off their costumes. Asuca Hayashi (林明日香) then came out on stage and sang the 6th ending theme song Chiisaki Mono (小さきもの).

The second part of the Pokémon Movie 15th Anniversary Event 'Pikachu the Live 2012' coverage aired in Pokémon Smash 101.
