Pocket Monsters Movie 14 Blu-Rays Announced
In a first for Japanese Pocket Monsters distribution, the latest duo of movies, Victini and the Light Hero Reshiram & Victini and the Dark Hero Zekrom will be released on Blu-ray high definition format this December in Japan. See the box art and links to purchase below:

Pokémon The Movie: White and Black Announced
The official Pokémon website has announced the English dub titles for the 14th movies. The movies are called Pokémon The Movie: White—Victini and Zekrom / Pokémon The Movie: Black—Victini and Reshiram. Pokémon The Movie: White—Victini and Zekrom will premiere at Cinedigm Digital Cinemas through out the United States on December 3rd and 4th, 2011. Release details for Pokémon The Movie: Black—Victini and Reshiram have yet to be determined. Below are the details and press release.

The newest full-length Pokémon feature film, Pokémon the Movie: White--Victini and Zekrom, is coming to movie theater screens across the U.S. for one weekend only: December 3rd and 4th, 2011! The Pokémon Company International has partnered with innovative digital theatrical distribution company Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM) to share Pokémon the Movie: White--Victini and Zekrom with its devoted fans for this limited, one-weekend-only screening event in more than 300 digital theaters across the United States. Pokémon fans will catch all the action and find out whether Ash can awaken the Legendary Pokémon Zekrom to help him stop the misguided Damon and save the Victory Pokémon Victini! A complete list of participating theaters will be announced shortly.

Long ago, the castle watched over the Kingdom of the Vale, and the partnership between Victini and the king protected its people who lived there. But that kingdom has since vanished into memory, leaving behind powerful relics and ancient Pokémon. Damon, a descendant of the People of the Vale, is trying to restore the lost kingdom with the help of his Reuniclus. His quest has taken him to the far reaches of the barren desert, and he has convinced the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram to join him in the search for truth!

Synopsis
During their travels through the Unova region, Ash and his friends Iris and Cilan arrive in Eindoak Town, built around a castle called the Sword of the Vale. The three Trainers have come to compete in the town’s annual battle competition, and Ash manages to win with some unexpected help from the Mythical Pokémon Victini! The latest episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes 47 - Orbem, Doublan and the Dream Thief! (オーベムとダブランと夢泥棒！) aired on Thursday in Japan.
Satoshi and friends along with Rocket Gang Nyarth are traveling to Raimon City when Nyarth befriends an Orbem. Little does Nyarth know that he is being mislead and ends up getting captured along with all of Satoshi and friends Pokémon by an evil villain named Leon. Will Satoshi and friends be able to rescue their Pokémon?!

Japanese voice actors vote on best in industry. Yamadera ranks 1st, Hayashibara 8th, Ohtani 20th.
Saturday's installment of TV Asahi entertainment show "Onegai! Ranking Gold" feature a segment on voice acting, where 100 Japanese voice actors were asked to vote for their favorites in the industry. The overall favorite was Koichi Yamadera (who has a token appearance in every Pocket Monsters movie), while Megumi Hayashibara (Musashi) ranked 8th and Ikue Ohtani (Pikachu) ranked 20th on the list.

Poland Pokémon Day Celebi - Zoroark DVD
Nintendo Poland in association with our affiliate Pokémon Valhalla have announced that a Pokémon Day event has been announced for Warsaw, Poland on August 20th, 2011. A special Celebi will be distributed at the event, there will be a Pokémon Video Game tournament and an art contest.
Also announced was the Polish television debut and DVD release of the 13th Pokémon movie, Pokémon Zoroark: Mistrz Iluzji. The movie will air on August 27th, 2011 on Disney XD Poland and then the DVD will be released on September 22nd, 2011. This will be one of the only Polish Pokémon DVD's ever released and will also feature Russian and English audio.

TV Tokyo has posted the There's Still Time! A Grand Showcase of the Pokémon Movies' Appeal Special! (今からでも間に合う！『ポケモン映画』の魅力大公開ＳＰ！) on its YouTube channel. The special aired on TV Tokyo on August 13th, 2011. The show contains spoilers from the latest movies Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (ビクティニと白き英雄レシラム / ビクティニと黒き英雄ゼクロム). The show is hosted by Yoshio Kojima (小島よしお) who dresses up as Satoshi and Pikachu. Yoshio Kojima was seen in the Pokémon Sunday 273 (ポケモン☆サンデー #273) card battle. Below is the special.
