The Pokémon Company has announced a new app for Android and Apple iOS called Pokémon Pass which is free and links to your Pokémon Trainer Club account to get rewards. The iOS version requires iOS 11.0 or later with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The Android version requires Android 5.1 and up.

Pokémon Pass

Pokémon Pass connects you with great Pokémon reward activities when you visit participating retailers in your area. Sign in with your free Pokémon Trainer Club account, then get notified of upcoming events at a store near you. When you visit the store, use your phone’s camera to scan a code to unlock a gift—such as in-game items for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! or Pokémon photo stickers for your camera.

To use the app, you’ll need to enable location services and grant permission for the app to use your phone’s camera. You’ll also need a free Pokémon Trainer Club account, which you can create on Pokemon.com.

Use the Pokémon Pass app to add one of these Shiny Pokémon to your Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! game.

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! players can add a uniquely colored Pokémon to their game by visiting a US Target store between May 11 and June 23, 2019. Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! players can get a Shiny Eevee, while those playing Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! can get a Shiny Pikachu.

To receive one of these Pokémon, you'll need to download the new Pokémon Pass app for select iOS and Android devices. Pokémon Pass is available to download from the App Store and Google Play at no cost. You'll even get a bonus Detective Pikachu photo sticker when you download the app, too!

This app delivers exclusive digital rewards to Pokémon Trainer Club account owners when they're at designated retail locations. If you're an account owner and enter a participating Target store, Pokémon Pass will use geolocation to automatically notify you of nearby reward offerings. The app will then guide you through several prompts, including one to scan a special QR Code found in-store, so you can claim your Shiny Pikachu or Shiny Eevee.

A new event Pokémon distribution is now available via Pokémon Bank. Oranguru and Passimian are both level 50 with their Hidden Abilities of Symbiosis and Defiant. The Pokémon will be available from March 29th, 2019 until October 31st, 2019 to players of Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, games where these Pokémon with their Hidden Abilities can not be obtained through normal game play.


Passimian knows the moves: Close Combat, U-turn, Knock Off and Gunk Shot while Oranguru knows the moves: Instruct, Foul Play, Trick Room and Ally Switch.

Conversely, Trainers will find Oranguru in the wild only in Pokémon Ultra Moon and Pokémon Moon. Its Hidden Ability, Symbiosis, is useful but a little tricky—in Double Battles, if Oranguru's teammate uses its held item, Oranguru will hand its own held item over to the teammate.

Pokémon Trainers can get five different Pikachu wearing hats based on those Ash has worn in Pokémon the Series.

Ash Ketchum and Pikachu have been traveling together for over 20 years in Pokémon the Series. To commemorate their many adventures, we're giving Trainers the opportunity to receive five different Pikachu in their Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.

These Pikachu are unique—each one wears a hat that Ash wore in one of the regions the famous duo has explored. In addition to sporting one of Ash's trademark hats, each Pikachu is also equipped with a set of moves inspired by the attacks Ash's partner would frequently use in that region.

To get these Pikachu in your game, you will need to enter their respective passwords between November 9 and November 30, 2018. Look below for instructions to bring these Pikachu into your game and for the basic stats and password for each of the five Pikachu.

Description
Battle in the 2018 International Challenge November Online Competition, where players can earn Championship Points toward the 2019 Pokémon World Championships. All qualified participants will also receive a Shiny Tapu Lele for their game. This fun competition will use the regulations from the Sun Series, the first of three formats in the 2019 Championship Series Season. Pokémon throughout the National Pokédex—including a limited number of the most powerful Legendary Pokémon—are permitted in battle. Importantly, Z-Crystals, Mega Stones, the Blue Orb, and the Red Orb are not permitted as held items. Also, Rayquaza may not know the move Dragon Ascent.
Competition Rules
• Items are allowed, but Trainers may not have duplicate items in their Battle Team. • Z-Crystals and Mega Stones are not permitted. • Blue Orb and Red Orb items are not permitted. • All Pokémon in this competition will automatically become Lv. 50 for the duration of each match. • Four of the Pokémon you register to your Battle Team will be chosen to battle in each match. • A 7-minute time limit for each player will automatically be enforced in-game, beginning at the start of each battle. When a player’s time limit expires, that player will lose the game. • At the beginning of each battle, players have 90 seconds to select four Pokémon to battle with. • At the beginning of each turn, players have 45 seconds to select a move or change the Pokémon in battle.
