The Pokémon German National Championships take place in Bochum, Germany on May 3rd, 2014 and May 4th, 2014. A Shiny Mamutel based on the 2013 Pokémon Video Game Masters Division World Champion Arash Ommati's Mamoswine is being distributed at RuhrCongress Bochum to all with a copy of Pokémon X or Y. The Level 50 Shiny Mamutel has the Thick Fat Ability and knows the following moves: Icicle Spear, Earthquake, Icicle Crash and Rock Slide.
Die für Teilnehmer kostenlosen Deutschen Landesmeisterschaften finden in diesem Jahr in Bochum (3. – 4. Mai) statt. Hier wird somit die Entscheidung darüber fallen, wer die bezahlte Reise zu den Pokémon Videospiel-Weltmeisterschaften, die im August 2014 in Washington, DC, ausgetragen werden, antreten darf. Um an den Videospiel-Landesmeisterschaften teilnehmen zu können, benötigen die Spieler lediglich ihr Nintendo 3DS-, 3DS XL- oder 2DS-System sowie eine Version von Pokémon X oder Pokémon Y samt Spieler-ID. Für eine Spieler-ID müssen sich Spieler auf Pokemon.de oder direkt vor Ort bei der Veranstaltung registrieren. Zwar ist eine Turnierteilnahme nicht erforderlich, um das Schillernde Mamutel zu erhalten, die Spieler müssen aber dennoch die gleiche Ausrüstung mitbringen.

Teilnehmern und Besuchern der diesjährigen Videospiel-Landesmeisterschaften bietet sich die Gelegenheit, ihrer Sammlung das Eis-Pokémon Mamutel hinzuzufügen. Dieses Mamutel war Teil des erfolgreichen Pokémon-Teams, das bei den letztjährigen Weltmeisterschaften dem Gewinner in der Meisterklasse zum Sieg verhalf. Bei Arash Ommati handelt es sich zudem um den ersten europäischen Gewinner der Pokémon Videospiel-Weltmeisterschaften in der Geschichte der Pokémon Meisterschaften. Mamutel wird im Kalos-Gebirgs-Pokédex aufgeführt und ist laut Regelwerk bei den Turnieren der Saison 2014 einsatzberechtigt. Recent updates to the movie 17 website
A number of updates have been made to the movie website in recent days, including a new plot summary and details on the Diancie event. Translations follow:
The Great Destruction and the Life Pokémon
Once upon a time, the "Great Destruction" took place, eradicating all life in the Kalos region.
The Great Destruction was brought upon by Yveltal, the "Destruction Pokémon" said to rob everything of life. After destroying everything, Yveltal turned into a "Cocoon of Destruction", in which form it still sleeps today.
When this Great Destruction took place, the only one rivaling Yveltal's power was Xerneas, the "Life Pokémon". Xerneas was said to bestow life to people and Pokémon.
Now, the journey to meet with these two grand legendary Pokémon of the Kalos region begins...
The Sacred Diamond and Diancie
"Diamond Ore Country." The land where the "Jewel Pokémon" Melecie live in peace and prosperity. It is located deep underground, and no one knows its exact location. In this country, a giant diamond known as the "Sacred Diamond" can be found...
For ages, the Sacred Diamond has played the role of an important energy resource, which keeps the ore country going. The only being with the power to create this type of diamond is princess Diancie herself. However, Diancie does not yet possess this power. And... time is starting to run out.
The Sacred Diamond's lifespan is about to run out. When that happens, the beautiful ore country is going to perish!
Having encountered Satoshi and Pikachu, Diancie sets out on a journey to save her country; a journey in search of the "Life Pokémon" Xerneas, seeking its sacred power.
The Thieves Chasing Diancie
Having encountered Satoshi and Pikachu, Diancie sets out on a journey to save her country; a journey in search of the "Life Pokémon" Xerneas, seeking its sacred power.
On their way, they get attacked by the female thief "Marilyn Flame" and the ninja thief "Ninja Riot", who seek Diancie's power to create diamonds. Diancie gets into really big trouble when the Rocket Gang gets involved as well!! However, they get saved by the mysterious father and daughter duo Algus and Miriss, who suddenly show up, and somehow manage to continue onward. And Diancie, who has lived her entire life as a princess, feels what friendship is for the very first time, growing a bit in the process...
The group continues onwards, guided by the Fairy Aura Xerneas emits, until they eventually reach the forbidden Alearth Woods, where all life was once eradicated.
After eating lunch at an Italian restaurant along the highway, we set off for the Skydeck Tower, where one can get a look down at the Thousand Islands. The Thousand Islands are a group of more than 1500 islands scattered through the Saint Lawrence River downstream from Lake Ontario. The Skydeck Tower lets you look down at them from 400 feet's height (roughly 120 meters).
The elevator ride to the top took 40 seconds, and when the door opened, a beautiful, dream-like 360 degree scenery spread out before us as far as the eye could see. Thin clouds were lingering in the sky as we were there, and Director Yuyama greatly admired the sight.

This summer, you will receive the mythical Pokémon Diance if you go see the Pokémon movie in the theaters!
We will unveil it's all-new, never before seen move:
It's called Diamond Storm
The giveaway will be available in theaters between Saturday July 19th and Tuesday September 30th while the Pokémon movie is being screened.

A move only Diancie can learn: Diamond Storm
It is a Rock type move that can attack multiple opponents at once. Since it is the same type as Diancie, it has 1.5 times its normal power when used. Also, when you use the move, your own Defense will rise as well!
It can also use both offensive and defensive super moves!!
This is a powerful item that, when held, will increase the power of a Normal type move by 1.3 times a single time. If you use the "Normal Jewel" to increase the power of "Return" even further when Diancie loves you as much as it possibly can, you're able to deal large amounts of damage to the enemy!
The "Normal Jewel" disappears after being used once.
Be aware that when you hold a "Normal Jewel", it will automatically activate its effect when you use a Normal type move.
*If you're playing a link battle over the PSS, the "Normal Jewel" will not disappear after use.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has revealed that the Pokémon Centers will be giving out Pokémon that can Mega Evolve as presents. From May 10th, 2014 until June 22nd, 2014, 6 different Pokémon will be distributed each week. The Pokémon being distributed come with the Mega Stone associated with that Pokémon to allow it to Mega Evolve during battle. These Pokémon are sure to be popular in Rating Battles on the Pokémon Global Link.

The Pokémon Company International announced that Magmar and Electabuzz will be distributed throughout Europe in April at participating stores. People can also get a free Pokémon TCG: XY special sampling pack that includes Pikachu (XY 42/146).

Rijamong Distribution
The official Korean Pokémon website has revealed that Rijamong (리자몽) will be distributed to the players of Pokémon X and Y. Between April 11th, 2014 and April 30th, 2014, players can visit the official Olleh TV website and watch a video to unlock the ability to get the serial code. People then need to enter their cell phone number to get a code sent to them. Olleh TV is an IPTV service in South Korea that is operated by KT. The serial code can be used to receive Rijamong (리자몽) from April 11th, 2014 until May 31st, 2014.
The code can be used in either Pokémon X and Y but the Rijamong (리자몽) is different in each game. Players that use the serial code with Pokémon X will receive a Rijamong (리자몽) with a Rijamongite Y while players of Pokémon Y will receive a Rijamong (리자몽) with a Rijamongite X. Both have the OT: Olleh TV (올레TV) and the Ability Blaze (맹화).
The Rijamong with a Rijamongite X (리자몽나이트X) for Pokémon Y knows the following moves: Dragon Rage (용의분노), Fire Fang (불꽃엄니), Air Slash (에어슬래시) and Dragon Claw (드래곤크루).

The official Korean Pokémon website has announced that Hankariaseu (한카리아스) will be distributed to Korean Pokémon X and Y players to promote the 2014 Pokémon World Championships Qualifying Tournament. Hankariaseu (한카리아스) will be distributed at two different locations but only one has been revealed so far. On April 12th, 2014 and April 13th, 2014 between 11:00 and 18:00, it will be distributed at the Lotte Department Store located on the 10th floor in Seoul.
Hankariaseu (한카리아스) is level 48, has the ability Sand Veil (모래숨기), is holding a Hankariaseuite (한카리아스나이트), and knows the moves: Draco Meteor (용성군), Dragon Claw (드래곤크루), Dig (구멍파기) and Crunch (깨물어부수기).

Some days back, the official Pokémon movie website has updated with information on the upcoming Darkrai distribution, as well as the third part of the coverage of Yuyama's location scouting report. Translations follow:
The second day is when our scouting started for real. We has our breakfast and checked out of our hotel at 7am, and eventually set off at 8. This morning, the entire city was shrouded in thick mist, and we couldn't see anything of the surrounding scenery. Morning mist like this appears to be common in November and December.
The bus carrying our group set off into the mist, following a long, straight road into the mountains. As the mist eventually cleared, a forest filled with trees beautifully colored red, orange and yellow came into view. We were right in the middle of the season for colored leaves.
As we gazed at the red maple leaves, which are also depicted on the Canadian flag, the bus rolled into our first destination for the day; Rideau Canal.

Recover HP with the normally unobtainable "Enigma Berry"!
Its held item is the "Enigma Berry" (ナゾのみ), which can't be normally obtained in the game. This is the first time a Pokémon holding this berry is distributed to "Pocket Monsters X/Y"! The "Enigma Berry" is a berry that recovers HP when you receive damage from a super effective move. Since Darkrai now also takes super effective damage from moves of the new Fairy type introduced in "Pocket Monsters X/Y", holding this berry is a good counter tactic.
*Be aware that the "Enigma Berry" will disappear if used during your adventure. However, it can safely be used without it disappearing when used in link battles, the Battle House, etc.

The Gouseuteu (고우스트) players will receive can be traded to evolve into Paenteom (팬텀) at the end of the trading process. Paenteom is level 25, has the OT Happy New Years (새해복맞이), has the Ability Levitate and knows the following moves: Psychic, Confuse Ray , Sucker Punch and Shadow Punch.
