The latest episode of Pokémon Sunday, I Got Gonbe with Haruka Delicious!! / The PokéSun Members Test 'Pocket Monsters Black and White'! / Masuda Appears in the Game Arena / A 2-week Special Present! (ハルカデリシャスで、ゴンベGETかも！！ / 「ポケットモンスター ブラック・ホワイト」をポケサンメンバーが体験！ / ゲームフリーク・増田さんも登場 / ２週連続スペシャルプレゼント！), aired today in Japan.

This weeks rerun theme was a new one for September entitled PokéSun Members Big Success （ポケスンメンバー大活躍！）. I Got Gonbe with Haruka Delicious! was this weeks repeat episode which features Gonbe. A wild Gonbe appears and wreaks havoc with the local Pokémon Center by eating all the PokéBlocks. A full summary of this episode is available in the episode guide.

The episode started off with the PokéSun members looked at all the new Pokémon Black and White merchandise they had setup around the set. Yamamoto stretches and looks around and notices a Mijumaru (ミジュマル) watching. He does a double take an notices that it's still there and quickly tells everyone what he saw. They all turn and look where he was pointing but Mijumaru was gone. Yamamoto sees Mijumaru once again through the crack of the side entrances sliding doors and tells everyone to look yet again. The crew turns to see only the closed doors. Golgo decides its best to just announce today's anime episode.

A preview clip of this weeks special entitled: A Closer Look at the Secrets of the New Games and Anime!! (ポケモン新作ゲーム＆アニメのヒミツに迫る！！) which features the cast from Pokémon Sunday was shown after the anime repeat episode. The special will air on Thursday September 16th, 2010. It will showcase the upcoming Pokémon Black and White games as well as the new anime series Best Wishes. A preview for the special was posted on the official TV Tokyo YouTube page last week and that same preview aired on the show today but without the new cat Pokémon that was revealed in the original trailer. The reason why the trailer was taken down and modified was because Junichi Masuda (増田順一) from GAMEFREAK wanted to make the revealing of Choroneko (チョロネコ) an exclusive world premiere for this episode of Pokémon Sunday.

After the preview Shoko-tan announces that Junichi Masuda (増田順一) from GAMEFREAK had arrived to reveal information about the new games Pokémon Black and White. Golgo and Red asked hi m in Hawaii in last weeks episode if he would tell them some information then but he agreed instead to show them on today's episode. He walked on the set with the DS box packaging for Pokémon Black and White as well as 3 hats featuring the starter Pokémon. He gave the hats to Robert as a present. Yamamoto chose the Mijumaru (ミジュマル) hat, Akiyama wore the Pokabu (ポカブ) one and Baba wore the Tsutaja (ツタージャ) hat.

Shoko-tan asked Masuda the first question which was: "Were there any problems you wanted to address? (苦労したところは？)". He responds by explaining that he wanted to make it easier for people to communicate with the new games but he found that to be a hard task to do but came up with the C Gear (Ｃギア). Yamamoto then ask Masuda: "How long have the games been in development? (製作期間的には　どれくらい？)" which he answers '4 years... (４年…。)". Baba askes: "Are there differences from the 4th Generation? (DP Pt HGSSと違う点は？). Masuda replies: "There will only be new Pokémon appearing until the ending." (エンディングまで登場するのは全て新ポケモン。)

Yamamoto was the first to get to try out Pokémon Black. Just as he booted up the game it asked if he wanted to play it using Hiragana and Katakana or to use kanji. (ゲームで　つかう　もじは　ひらがな・カタカナに しますか？ それとも 漢字に しますか？). Playing the game with Kanji in the dialog is a new option in Black and White as all the previous Pokémon games have only used Hiragana and Katakana. Yamamoto chose the Kanji option.

Yamamoto chose the male character and named him Hiroshi, after himself. The show quickly moved on to the starter Pokémon selection screen and Yamamoto chose Mijumaru (ミジュマル). The game then shows the character walking around Kanoko Town (カノコタウン) where they visit Professor Araragi lab with Belle (ベル) and Cheren (チェレン). The Professor gives a Pokémon Zukan to main character. The show quickly transitions to Route 1 (１ばんどうろ).

Yamamoto encounters a wild level 2 Minezumi (ミネズミ) and captured it. The Zukan information for Minezumi was displayed. It is a Normal type, 0.5m high, weights 11.6kg and it is Isshu dex number 010. Minezumi's Dex entry: It stores food in the pouches of its cheeks and keeps watch for days. It uses its tail to give signals to its peers." (ほほの　ふくろに　エサを　ためこみ　なんにちも　みはりを　つづける。　しっぽで　なかまに　あいずする。) He then encountered N and battled him. Choroneko's (チョロネコ) Zukan information was also revealed and it is Isshu dex number 015. Choroneko Dex entry: "It playfully steals things from people. The people it steals from can't help but forgive it because of its cute gestures." (ひとの　ものを　あそびで　ぬすむ。　ぬすまれた　ひとも　あいくるしい　しぐさに　つい　ゆるしてしまうのだ。)

Hidden Machine (HM01) in Pokémon Black and White is Cut (いあいぎり) and it is given to player by Mamoko. Yamamoto taught the move to his Minezumi. Players with the cut move can then use it to clear an opening an abandoned warehouse where a Munna (ムンナ) is located. Munna's evolution Musharna is the key to allow people to go to the Dream World (ゆめのあとち). Plasma Gang appears and battles. After the battle, Yamamoto returns back to Mamoko who gives the C Gear to the player.

Just before the commercial break, Yadon Akiyama appeared and did a brief skit based on Michael Jackson as his song Billie Jean played in the background. Returning from the commercial break, Masuda showed off the Sky Arrow Bridge. The bridge connects the main Isshu region with Hiun City.

During the Pokémon Sunday news segment, a preview clip from the upcoming new anime series Pocket Monsters Best Wishes! (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ) which begins airing on September 23rd, 2010, was shown. The series will feature Satoshi and Pikachu in the Isshu region. On top of that, it was announced that there will be live coverage of the "It's a Pokémon Festival! Best Wishes" starting at 12 PM! PokéSun members will appear as well.

It was also announced that the newest TCG set entitled "Pokémon Card Game BW" will be released on September 18th, 2010. The cards will feature Pokémon from the fifth generation.

A bunch of new Pokémon were revealed on the show today. Many of the Pokémon were revealed in the leaked Corocoro images earlier in the day and in a trailer last month on Oha Suta but for most people this would the first time that they had seen the Pokémon as this was the official public revealing for these Pokémon.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has revealed that TV Tokyo will be revealing new information on the upcoming Nintendo DS games Pokémon Black and White (ポケットモンスター ブラック・ホワイト) starting on September 12th, 2010. The information will be revealed on various shows. Pokémon Black and White will be released on September 18th, 2010.

Oha Suta (おはスタ)

Hosted by Pokémon voice actor Kōichi Yamadera (山寺宏一), the show will be announcing and presenting information live from September 13th to September 17th. The show starts at 6:45am. The shows official website can be visited by clicking here.

The next episode of Pokémon Sunday will have an entire segment dedicated to the new games. Junichi Masuda (増田順一) from GAMEFREAK will be on the show to reveal information. I Got Gonbe with Haruka Delicious!! / The PokéSun Members Test 'Pocket Monsters Black and White'! / Masuda Appears in the Game Arena / A 2-week Special Present! (ハルカデリシャスで、ゴンベGETかも！！ / 「ポケットモンスター ブラック・ホワイト」をポケサンメンバーが体験！ / ゲームフリーク・増田さんも登場 / ２週連続スペシャルプレゼント！) airs on September 12th at 7:30am.

The final episode of Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl aired on Thursday in Japan. The series began its run on September 28th, 2006 and had a total of 191 episodes. Diamond & Pearl 191 - Memories are Pearls! Friendships are Diamonds!! (思い出はパール！友情はダイヤモンド！！) concludes the journey of Satoshi, Takeshi and Hikari in the Sinnoh region. The series will now be replaced by Pocket Monsters Best Wishes! (ポケットモンスター ベストウイッシュ) which will begin airing on September 23rd, 2010.

Having arrived in Futaba Town, Satoshi and Takeshi rest up at Hikari's house before they head off to the Kanto region. Pochama though is sad that its going to be separated from Pikachu and the others and runs away into the forest.

Pocket Monsters Best Wishes

The official Best Wishes website updated just after today's Diamond and Pearl episode concluded. A biography for Don George (ドン・ジョージ) was posted. He will probably make his debut in BW004 - Battle Club! Mysterious Pokémon Appear!! (バトルクラブ！謎のポケモン現る！！). Below is the biography translation.

Pokémon Battle Clubs are facilities that can improve skills and allow trainers battle each other freely. The Battle manager will give advice on how to improve Pokémon's techniques. (トレーナー同士が自由にバトルして技術を高めあう事ができる施設、「ポケモンバトルクラブ」のバトルマネージャー。時には、新しい技をポケモンに覚えさせたい時にアドバイスをしてくれる。)

Next Thursday, a special entitled: A Closer Look at the Secrets of the New Games and Anime!! (ポケモン新作ゲーム＆アニメのヒミツに迫る！！) which features the cast from Pokémon Sunday, will air. It will showcase the upcoming Pokémon Black and White games as well as the new anime series Best Wishes. A preview was posted on the official TV Tokyo YouTube page last week and that same preview aired at the end of today's episode but without the new cat Pokémon that was revealed in the original trailer. It is unclear why they removed the Pokémon from this weeks preview. Below are screenshots comparing the segment from both trailers.

The upcoming Nintendo DS games Pokémon Black and White (ポケットモンスター ブラック・ホワイト) have been reviewed by the popular Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (ファミ). Both games received perfect 40/40 scores as all 4 reviewers gave the games the highest rating the magazine gives out. Very few games have received a perfect score from the magazine.

The latest episode of Pokémon Sunday, Habunake VS Kimori! The Pound Attack Finisher!! / Chief Golgo and Professor Red Cover the 'Pokémon World Championships 2010 (ハブネークVSキモリ！　必殺のはたく攻撃！！ / 「ポケモンワールドチャンピオンシップス2010」にゴルゴ所長とレッド博士が密着！), aired today in Japan.

The Pound Attack Finisher!! was this weeks repeat episode which features Habunake and Kimori. Satoshi's Kimori encounters a wild Habunake and gets injured. A preview clip of this weeks final episode of Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl (ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド＆パール), DP191 - Memories are Pearls! Friendships are Diamonds!! (思い出はパール！友情はダイヤモンド！！) was played that displayed a few new images. The episode was also promoted throughout the repeat episode on the widescreen pillar bars. The Sinnoh League is now over and Satoshi and friends have finally arrived at Futaba Town. After realizing it was going to be separated from Satoshi, Pikachu and Takeshi, Pochama becomes sad. The episode airs on Thursday September 9th, 2010.

Today's episode featured a report of the Pokémon World Championships 2010 that took place in Hawaii on August 13th to 15th, 2010. Pokémon TCG and video game players from around the world who qualified for the event were there participating for prizes and scholarships as well as the title of champion! Chief Golgo and Professor Red were sent to report of the event.

The report starts off with Golgo and Red swimming towards the shoreline in snorkeling gear, making it look like they swam from Japan to Hawaii. Red exclaims "I made it to Hawaii!" (ハワイに ついたぞ!) as the two of them, in their white and red striped swimming suit, manage to walk up the beach gradually making it look like they were exhausted.

Golgo and Red then met and interviewed the Junior TCG members of Team Japan.　The members were: Eiki Horikawa (堀川詠生), Kouhei Takenaka (武中耕平), Ryohei Yamauchi (山内涼平), Eiji Takagi (高木瑛史), Sumika Yanagida (柳田純), Nao Kawamura (川村奈央), Toshimi Yamazaki (山崎稔実) and Hiroki Masuda (益田洸希). Red asks the members of the team "What is their goal?" (目標は？). Most of the members of Team Japan answered to place in the 'Best Four' (ベスト4).　When they asked the question to Nao Kawamura (川村奈央), she replied 'First Place' (１位です). Tsubasa Nakamura (中村翼), the 2009 Pokémon World Champion, then showed up. A clip from his victory celebration from last year was shown. Golgo asks him the question as well and he replies 'First Place' (１位です)!

Golgo and Red also interviewed the Junior Video Game members of Team Japan. The members were: Santa Ito (井藤三太), Shota Yamamoto (山本聖太), Hiroya Kuramashi (倉増寛也), Yamato Saitou (斉藤倭斗), Yuki Kadowaki (門脇勇樹), Ren Toriyama (鳥山蓮), Kanade Mizuguchi (水口奏) and Ikkei Takimoto (滝本一慶). Santa Ito (井藤三太) was quickly interviewed and Red and Golgo remembered him from last years competition where he placed second. When asked about his goal he quickly responds: 'First Place' (１位です)!

The announcer then explains the three different divisions in the TCG championships for 2010. They are listed below:

• Junior Division (ジュニアディビジョン): Born in 1999 or later
• Senior Division (シニアディビジョン): Born in 1995, 1996, 1997, or 1998
• Masters Division (マスターディビジョン): Born in 1994 or earlier

A flashback scene is then shown where the camera crews go to visit Santa Ito (井藤三太) at his house to see how he was training for the 2010 championships.　The crew also visits Shota Yamamoto (山本聖太) at his house and asks him "Is Santa-kun your rival?" （三太くんはライバル？） and he responds　"Oh, really... Yeah." (そうかな。。。　うん). Shouta shows that he is training a Cherubi (チェリンボ).

Shigeki Morimoto (森本茂樹) and Junichi Masuda (増田順一) from GAMEFREAK were also at the World Championships and had tables setup to sign autographs for people. Red and Golgo try to get some Black and White info out of them. Junichi Masuda agrees to reveal the information on next weeks show when he'll visit them at the PokéSun set.

Yuka Furusawa was crowned the 2010 Pokémon Trading Card Game World Champion for the Junior Division after she defeated Juan Pablo Arenas from the United State in the finals. Shota Yamamoto and Santa Ito faced off against each other as rivals in the 2010 Pokémon Video Game World Finals for the Junior Division. Shota Yamamoto ended up defeating Santa to become World Champion as Santa placed second once again.

Just before the show ended, Shoko-tan announced a new feature for Pokémon Black and White. Players can visit the Musical Hall (ミュージカルホール) and talk to a man that gives players a special Birthday Cake (ケーキのもけい) accessory. It was also revealed that Pokémon Centers in the game will give you a special message on your birthday when you talk to Joy.

CoroCoro Special magazine has revealed a new Combination Technique (コンビネーション技) feature in the upcoming games Pokémon Black and White. Combination technique allow Pokémon to combine certain attacks together in Double and Triple Battles to create a new combined effect. Three new Combination Technique attacks were revealed: Grass Oath (くさのちかい), Fire Oath (ほのおのちかい) and Water Oath (みずのちかい).

Below is a list of the revealed combination's and their effect:

• Grass Oath (くさのちかい) + Fire Oath (ほのおのちかい): When combined, the result will be a field of fire that damages your opponent's Pokémon each turn.
Fire Oath (ほのおのちかい) + Water Oath (みずのちかい): When combined, the result will be a rainbow which raises the chance of an attack's secondary effect to occur.
• Water Oath (みずのちかい) + Grass Oath (くさのちかい): When combined, the result will be a swamp-like field that lowers the speed of your opponent's Pokémon.

The latest episode of Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl 189 - Sinnoh League Semifinal! Darkrai Appears!! (シンオウリーグ準決勝！ダークライ登場！！) aired on Thursday in Japan.

Satoshi faces off against Takuto in the semi-final round of the Sinnoh League. For this round its a full 6 on 6 battle, but Takuto's Darkrai is undefeated. Who will win the match and proceed to the next round of the Sinnoh League?!

Best Wishes Official Website

The official TV Tokyo Pocket Monsters Best Wishes website has launched. The site features biographies of the new characters and teaser videos showcasing the new Pokémon. The series will begin on Thursday, September 23rd at 6:59pm on TV Tokyo.

• Iris's voice actress is Aoi Yūki (悠木 碧)
• Dento's voice actor is Mamoru Miyano (宮野真守)
• It was revealed that a Yanappu will be owned by Dento.

A short preview aired at the end of today's Diamond and Pearl episode to promote the new Best Wishes series. It revealed Satoshi's new outfit.

Since pre-orders of Pokémon Black and White officially began on July 31st, 2010, to the time of the news release on August 22nd, 2010, over 1 million copies of the games have been ordered. This officially makes the games the fastest selling Nintendo DS games and the pre-orders are expected to reach over 1.5 million before the games are released on September 18th, 2010.

The games have been heavily promoted on all forms of media and the current Pokémon Searcher BW campaign (ポケモンサーチャーBW) is getting a lot of people turning out to find out more about the games.

The latest episode of Pokémon Sunday, A Startling Yamirami! / Weird Boys appear in 'Aim For a New PokéSun Record!!' / Pokémon BW 'Information on New Pokémon' & A Battle with Tsutarja, Pokabu and Mijumaru (ヤミラミでドッキリ！ / 「目指せ！ポケサン新記録！！」で変な動きをする少年登場／ポケモンBW「新ポケモン情報」＆ツタージャ・ポカブ・ミジュマルのバトル), aired today in Japan.

The show started of with Golgo and Professor Red practicing their baseball skills. Red was batting and Golgo was pitching as Robert and Shoko-tan enter the room. Baba asks to have a try batting but as Golgo pitches the ball, Baba is confused because he didn't see it and Red didn't catch it. They start looking for the ball as Shoko-tan points out the ball mysteriously is on Yamamoto's right eye and he is lying on the ground.

Shoko-tan announces this weeks rerun theme, the continuation of last weeks new Ghost Pokémon theme, Testing the Shocked Feelings!? Ghost Pokémon Big Special （ドッキリ キモ試し！？ゴートポケモン大特集）. A Startling Yamirami! was this weeks repeat episode which featured a Yamirami scaring people in a mine shaft. A full summary of this episode is available in the Episode Guide.

A preview clip of this weeks episode of Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl (ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド＆パール), DP188 - Rival Battle Conclusion! Satoshi VS Shinji!! (決着ライバルバトル！サトシ対シンジ！！) was played that displayed a few new images. The episode was also promoted throughout the repeat episode on the widescreen pillar bars. Satoshi and Shinji will finally finish the full battle rematch during the quarter-final round of the Sinnoh League. Who will win?! The episode airs on Thursday August 19th, 2010.

Returning from the repeat episode, the PokéSun crew has a 'Wack-a-Mole' like tent setup to promote the latest Movie. The tent is used as a New PokéSun Record event. Shoko-tan decides that she'd try out the game which requires her to take pictures of Zoroark with the Nintendo DSi. Robert's head pop out as distractions so she'll take pictures of them instead of Zoroark. She managed to take 3 pictures of Zoroark but she took 2 picture of Yamamoto and one picture of Akiyama's hair to give her a final score of 0 points.

TIM head off to Kamagaya Hatsutomi Chiba City Elementary School （千葉県　鎌ヶ谷市立初富小学校） for another PokéSun Record event. The first event was the Celebi Relay Race (ときのはもん ときわたりリレー) which had the teams dressed up in green ponchos and boots so they looked like Celebi. Each team held a bucket of water over their head and had to walk across a narrow board without spilling too much water. The team members pass the water bucket to each member of the team and the team with the most amount of water left in the bucket at the end of the relay is the winner. A team ended up winning the event.

The next event was Dodorio Rope Skipping (ドードリオのがむしゃらなわとび) and featured 3 people holding hands while running and skipping together as fast as they could across the gym. The event featured next was Sawamular's Megaton Kick (サワムラーのメガトンキック) which required people to kick their shoe off as far as they could. One kid was able to kick his shoe over 20 metres!

The next event was Zoroark's Camera Shutter (ゾロアークシャッターチャンス), the event that Shoko-tan played earlier in the show. The record is 9 points for the game but no one was able to beat the record. The final event for the day was the PokéWalker relay. Blue team managed to get the best score for the day with -204. The current record is -404.

During the Pokémon Game Arena, Robert visited The Pokémon Company where they were greeted by Pokémon Company Publicity Department Member Jonathan （株式会社ポケモン　宣伝企各部　前野”ジョナサン”　和志さん）. Akiyama was dressed up as Shoko-tan which amused both Yamamoto and Baba for a bit when Shoko-Akiyama was revealed. Jonathan first revealed the cases for Black and White and indicated that the outside of the case was a bit different as Reshiram (レシラム) and Zekrom (ゼクロム) tails both glow a bit.

Also revealed was the fact that Shikijika (シキジカ) can have different colors depending on the season. The Spring Form color is Pink, the Summer Form color is Green, the Autumn Form color is Orange and the Winter Form color is brown.

New Features:

• The player's home town is Kanako Town (カノコタウン)
• Plasma Gang (プラズマ団) gives a speech in Karakusa Town (カラクサタウン).　They steal Pokémon to 'protect' and liberate them. （おまえたちのポケモンわたしたがすくいたしてやる！）. After players listen to the speech, they will encounter Plasma Gang everywhere.
• Dento (デント) is Gym Leader in Sanyou City (サンヨウシティ). He is the first Gym Leader players will battle.
• Makomo (マモコ) lives in Sanyou City (サンヨウシティ).
• Aloë (アロエ) is the Gym Leader in Shippou City (シッポウシティ).
• Shippou City (シッポウシティ) also has a cultural museum.
• The Isshu region (イッシュ地方) has 8 badges.
• TM's can be used multiple times now.
• The PokéShifter (ポケシフター) can only be used after the game has been completed.
• The games feature seasons now. 1 month in real life is a season in the games.
• Wild Pokémon change depending on the current season.
• Victini (ビクティニ) is located in the Liberty Garden Tower (リバティガーデンとう) on Liberty Island. Players require the Liberty Ticket (リバティチケット) in order to access the location.
• Victini's Dex Entry: It makes limitless energy inside its body. It releases this energy on any Pokémon who touches it.
• Pokémon Musicals (ポケモンミュージカル) takes place at the Music Hall (ミュージカルホール).
• Items are stored in the Goods Case and the audience at the Pokémon Musical can gift the player items.
• Berries do not grow in Isshu. Berries can only be obtained in the Dream World.
• Players can trade Items and Berries with friends over the Global Link though.
• Swanna can learn a new move called Windstorm (ぼうふう) and the accuracy of the move depends on the current weather.
