Episode PicturePokémon Smash Episode 27, Hiun Gym Match! Purehearted Bug Pokémon Battle!! / Black-white Cheering Showdown! Who Will Watch the Black Pokémon Movie? How About the White One? (ヒウンジム戦! 純情ハートの虫ポケモンバトル!! / 黒白応援対決!ポケモン映画は黒をみる?白をみる?), aired on Sunday in Japan.

The narrator started by announcing all the segments that would be on today's show and then said: "Okay! It's time for a Pokémon Entertainment Show! Pokémon Smash!". Golgo started the show by asking Shoko-tan which she you choose: Black or White? Shoko-tan chose 'White' and Professor Red chose 'Black'.

This week was a Special Edition of the Pokémon Library (ポケモンライブラリー特別編). Pokémon Smash! rebroadcast Pocket Monsters Best Wishes 25 - Hiun Gym Match! Purehearted Bug Pokémon Battle!! (ヒウンジム戦! 純情ハートの虫ポケモンバトル!!) due to the Sendai Earthquake and tsunami that disrupted many people's schedules and as a result they were unable to see the original airing of the episode. The episode originally aired on March 17th, 2011 only a few days after the Sendai Earthquake and tsunami. There was no episode theme this week and Professor Red did his usual "OK! Pokémon Library" go-to line.

After the Pokémon Library episode, the Internation Division girls showed up. The Black-white Cheering Showdown! Who Will Watch the Black Pokémon Movie? How About the White One? was introduced and the VTR was then shown. Robert of the Adventure Division decided they would promote Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (ビクティニと黒き英雄ゼクロム) while the International Division girls decided they would promote Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram (ビクティニと白き英雄レシラム).

They started off at Mejiro Station (目白駅) where the two groups argued which one was better. Hana ends up telling them in English: "No Black! White!". Their objective was to: "Find a store or person associated with black or white, between the Mejiro and Meguro stations on the Yamanote Line!" (山手線の目白駅から目黒駅までの範囲で黒か白に関係したお店や人を探す!)

The teams would each receive points for finding a store or person associated with black or white and getting them to do something. Below is a list of the tasks they would have to do and how many points they would get for doing so.

Task Points
Make a supporter of a store that relates to black or white!
(黒か白に関係のあるお店がサポーターに!)
1 Point
Put movie poster up in the store
(お店に映画のポスターをはってもらう)
10 Points
Make a supporter of a person whose name relates to Black or White!
(黒か白が名前につく人かサポーターに!)
5 Points

To help the two teams, some of the SKE48 members joined the teams. Akiyama made fun of Yamamoto by saying his 'group' name was HiRoShi32歳. Hiroshi Yamamoto is 32 years old. SKE48 is a Japanese Idol group who was previously on Pokémon Smash #22 to promote their new track "Banzai Venus" (バンザイ Venus). Yuria Kizaki (木﨑ゆりあ), Rumi Katō (加藤るみ), Sawako Hata (秦佐和子) went on Team Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (ビクティニと黒き英雄ゼクロム) with Robert while Akane Takayanagi (高柳明音), Anna Ishida (石田安奈) and Shiori Kaneko (金子栞) went on Team Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram (ビクティニと白き英雄レシラム) with the International Division girls.

Team Reshiram found their first store Mejiro Pharmacy (目薬局). The managed to get 11 points out of it as they were able to get the store to support the movie as well as put a poster up by the register. The continued walking and Hana spotted another store and they were able to get another 11 points. They then visited the shop 'quiche quiche' that sold 'White Devil' and 'Black Angel' quiche and they got yet another 11 points from that store. They met a girl Shiroishi(石) and they got her to support them giving Team Reshiram another 5 points.

Team Zekrom was at the Rokugo-dori Shopping Center where they got one point for getting the support of the Sweet Bar because they had croissants(クロワッサン). They got 1 point for that. The started walking again and they found another store called Kagoshima Kurobuta where they were able to get the store to support the movie as well as put a poster up on the wall to give them 11 points.

Team Reshiram found another store called White Cloud Tokyo that did Yoga where they got another 11 points. The got another shop to also put up the poster for another 11 points. Team Zekrom found a shop called Silk Road (シルクロード) and they were able to get support of the store but no poster so they only got 1 point. The teams then met up to compare scores. Team Zekrom had 13 points while Team Reshiram had 60 points. They ended up getting an extra 15 points for the ramen name. They all decided to go out to see if they could get some more points.

During Mijumaru's tweet corner they announced the new ending theme for Pocket Monsters Best Wishes: Can You Say the Pokémon? BW (ポケモン言えるかな?BW) which aired at the end of Thursday's episode replacing Fanfare of the Heart (心のファンファーレ). The song has a very fast tempo song like the previous naming songs. It is sung by Shōgo Toda (戸田昭吾).

The two teams continued finding shops and then met up at the end to see if they managed to improve their scores at all. Team Reshiram ending up winning with 86 points while Team Zekrom had only 52 points.

Episode PicturePokémon Smash Episode 26, A New Land! A New Adventure!! / Robert's and the International Division's Spring-themed Pokémon Charaben-making Showdown / If Director Shoko-tan Loses This Pokémon Battle, She's Fired?(新たなる大地!新たなる冒険!! / ロバートとインターナショナル部が春にピッタリのポケモンのキャラ弁作りで対決! / しょこたん部長がポケモンバトル、負けたらクビ?), aired on Sunday in Japan.

A new opening was revealed in this episode. It features the current Best Wishes main characters Pokémon as well as a Monmen. Even though the opening shows a Monmen and the anime's main character Pokémon, it is *possible* that the Monmen is Akiyama's as he seems to have taken a liking to Monmen in Smash just like he did with HootHoot in Sunday. It is also possible that the Monmen is one of the main character Pokémon. It is currently unknown at this time what significance the Monmen in the opening plays or if its just a wild Pokémon.

Golgo introduces this weeks rerun episode as part of the Pokémon Library and he also announces this weeks theme, The first step is a big step!(はじめの1歩は大きな1歩!). Red said the go-to line 'OK! Pokémon Library!' to start the repeat episode.

After the Pokémon Library episode aired, the Internation Division girls showed up. Shoko-tan opened a box of rice cakes that she made that looked like Golgo. Everyone was impressed with how good they resembled him. The International Division and the Adventure Division then showed their combined VTR video.

Oda Kinuko (審査員 尾田衣子) was also a judge.

Yummy! Cute! Nutritionally Balanced! Make Nutritional Recipes! Pokémon Bento Box Book(おいしい!かわいい!栄養バランスよし! 食育レシピでつくる!ポケモンお弁当BOOK) is newly released book that was being promoted during this episode. Yukio Hattori and Oda Kinuko both collaborated to write the book.

He also made Nageki by wrapping a paper towel around a red pepper and a Dageki by wrapping a paper towel around an eggplant. He also showed his Vanipeti which was just an ice cream cone with Black Beans(黒まめ) for eyes. Misaki though was crowned the winner by the judges.

In this weeks in-studio viewer battle, if Director Shoko-tan Loses this Pokémon Battle, will she's Fired? Shoko-tan faced 10 year old Sudō Atsushi (須藤篤志). Shoko-tan defeated him without loosing a Pokémon. She said she tried to apply the things she learned from Game Freak Game Designer Shigeki Morimoto who visited the Smash cast in episode #21.

A segment that was supposed to air during Pokémon Smash Episode #23 which showcased the launch of Pokémon BW in New York was shown at the end of this episode. Footage from the London March 4th launch event was also shown. Game Freak director Junichi Masuda (増田順一) and artist Ken Sugimori (杉森建) were both on hand during the London launch to sign games. Episode PicturePokémon Smash Episode 22, Lots of Patcheel! Searching for Happiness on the Other Side of the Mountain!? / A Signature Campaign to Release the Complete Version of Group Member Akiyama's 'Immersed in Pokémon Life' on DVD / SKE48 Participates in a Pokémon Battle! / The Latest Clips from the Movie!(パッチールがいっぱい! 幸せさがして山の彼方に!? / 秋山隊員が「ポケモン漬け生活BW」完全版をDVD化するため署名運動 / SKE48がポケモンバトルに登場! / 映画最新映像!), aired on Sunday in Japan.

Since Game Freak Game Designer Shigeki Morimoto was on the show last week to help them with their Pokémon battling, Golgo, Professor Red, Shoko-tan, Baba and Yamamoto were all playing Pokémon Black and White to increase their Pokémon's strength. Akiyama shows up in his Pikachu outfit and is a bit sad as he worked hard to win his battle. The crew tries to cheer him up.

Yamamoto introduces this weeks rerun episode as part of the Pokémon Library and he also announces this weeks theme, Happiness cannot be taken by Force! (幸せはむりやりうばえない!). This weeks Pokémon Library rerun episode was Lots of Patcheel! Searching for Happiness on the Other Side of the Mountain!? (パッチールがいっぱい! 幸せさがして山の彼方に!?) from the Advanced Generation series. A full summary of that episode is available in the episode guide. Shoko-tan starts laughing and Akiyama starts crying which cuts off Yamamoto so Red just decides to quickly do his "OK! Pokémon Library!" go-to line.

After the repeat episode, the International division girls show up and are suprised to see Akiyama in his Pikachu outfit again. The narrator then reviews the events that took place in Pokémon Smash! #18 when Akiyama Immersed himself in Pokémon Life to learn about the new 5th generation Pokémon in the new games Pokémon Black and White.

Akiyama explains that there was a lot of footage that they didn't see in the original broadcast as there was only 15 minutes in his segment and he wants everyone to be able to see all of it. The announcer then explains that Akiyama is planning to do a 'Signature Campaign to Release the Complete Version of Group Member Akiyama's 'Immersed in Pokémon Life' on DVD' so that everyone will be able to watch it.

Segment 1 of the unreleased footage showcases: 'Study the compatibility of the Elite Four with Attacks' (未公開映像① 支店王との相性を体当たりでお勉強!). As Akiyama was reaching the Elite Four in the games, Yamamoto and Baba decided to help Akiyama learn about their type strengths and disadvantages. 11 year old Itō Saya (伊藤紗弥), Thai boxing (ムエタイ Muay Thai) girl from Pokémon Smash! #10 returned and is a Fighting type (かくとうタイプ). Akiyama was dressed up as a personification of the Dark type Pokémon to see how it would affect Master Geema (ギーマ) of the Isshu Elite Four. To test how well a fighting type attack would work against a dark type, Itō Saya kicked Akiyama in the butt. Obviously he felt the attack as fighting type moves have advantages against dark type.

Next Baba who was a Bug type (むしタイプ) used X-Scissor on Akiyama's face. Akiyama quickly realized that it was an effective attack against dark types. He also quickly found out that Psychic type attacks are very ineffective against dark types.

Yamamoto was up next to help Akiyama as he was a Ghost type (ゴーストタイプ) which matched Shikimi (シキミ) of the Isshu Elite Four. Baba who was a Bug type (むしタイプ) used X-Scissor on Yamamoto but it didn't seem to effect him too much. Itō Saya kicked Yamamoto but he quickly got up and acted like it didn't do anything to him as fighting moves are ineffective against Ghost type Pokémon. Yamamoto actually did have to go to the side to recover from the kick though. A girl who was dressed up as a ghost was next and used Shadow Ball against him which was simulated with the girl putting a ball of squid ink (イカスミ) and popping it in his mouth. Akiyama obviously could tell that was effective.

Next up was a guy dressed up like Caitlin (カトレア) who is the Psychic type Isshu Elite Four member and he faced Baba and his X-Scissor. It proved to be super effective against Pyschic Pokémon. He then faced multiple kicks from Itō Saya and it didn't seem to do much. He then was told to face a Psychic type which ended up just being a mirror. He started using the hadōken move against the mirror but that didn't seem to effective. Instead of saying the normal 'hadōken' when doing the move he kept saying 'Esper' (エスパー). Akiyama wanted to double check if Ghost was really effective against Ghost as that didn't seem right to him. Yamamoto was then subjected to the squid ink (イカスミ) Shadow Ball again.

Robert then went off to the Musashi Koyama Palm Mall (武蔵小山商店街パルム) in Tokyo. They were all wearing banners around them that said 'Make DVD Team' (DVD作り隊). Akiyama wanted to get as many people as he could to sign his petition to make his DVD. He was able to get quite a few signatures from various people. One particular young boy knew English and they were asking him what a few things like a pen and a shoe were called in English. Up until that point, the boys answers were all in English but Akiyama pointed to Hiroshi Yamamoto and asked 'This is a...' to which the boy answered 'Hiroshi (ヒーロシ)'. That got a big laugh from all the members of Robert.

Segment 2 of the unreleased footage showcases: 'Pokémon Room Case File' (未公開映像② ポケモンルーム事件簿). Akiyama just sits around in the room and listens to the music for quite awhile. He then begins humming the music in bed.

Robert then head off to the Yokohama Pokémon Center(ポケモンセンターヨコハマ) to continue pitching Akiyama's DVD. THey meet one of the staff members and then Akiyama explains what he is going to put on the DVD.
  1. The First OA (Originally Aired) Video of Immersed in Pokémon Life (第1回ポケモンづけ生活OA映像)
  2. Robert Audio Commentary (ロバートの副音声)
  3. Yadon Akiyama Collection (ヤドン秋山集)
  4. Original Tokiko Sticker (オリジナル トキコステッカー)

The Tokiko sticker is a picture of Group Member Yamamoto's mother (山本隊員の母) which was drawn by Akiyama. They were able to get the staff member to sign the petition.

Segment 3 of the unreleased footage showcases: 'Famous Music' (未公開映像③ 名曲集). Akiyama decided that he needed to make some original music based on the background music from the games. When the show returns to the set, Golgo adds another item to the list that must be on Akiyama's DVD before it can be released. He needs to put 10 successful battles on the DVD. (バトルで10連勝したらDVDを出そうじゃないか!) Akiyama currently only has 1 and just as Akiyama tried to negotiate the number, Golgo insisted it must be 10.

The very annoying SKE48 Idol Group was on the show today to promote their aweful new track. They lipsync'd the song "Banzai Venus" (バンザイ Venus) which got 300,000 pre-orders CD orders for their new single. Seriously, do they really need any more promoting?! Thankfully they only sang the chorus on the show and we weren't subjected to too much torture.

SKE48 was also on the show to battle the PokéSmash members in a 6 on 6 Full Battle with Level 50 Pokémon. Thankfully the PokéSmash members came out victorious and their training and lesson from Game Freak Game Designer Shigeki Morimoto was helpful. Misaki was instrumental in the PokéSmash teams victory.

The trailer for the upcoming 14th movies Victini and the Light Hero - Reshiram / Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom (ビクティニと白き英雄レシラム / ビクティニと黒き英雄ゼクロム) was shown near the end of the program. Both movies will debut in Japanese theaters separately on July 17th, 2011. High Definition images from the trailer have been posted on our imageboard. Further information about the movies can also be found in our detailed news article.

Shoko-tan also revealed that she will have a voice acting part in this years movie once again. This will be the 5th movie she will be in. She didn't reveal which part she would be voice acting though.

The announcer started off the show by reminding viewers of the 3rd Pokémon Library vote and showcased a few things that would be appearing later on the show. He then said "Let's kick off!" as the main portion of the show began. The episode began with the Pokémon Enterprise staff welcoming everyone with their 'PokéMorning!' slogan and Shoko-tan and Baba both sporting new hairdos. Shoko-tan then quickly reminded people of the Pokémon Library vote that took place earlier in the month. The episode that won the vote would be aired on today's episode of Pokémon Smash.

Since Professor Red won the first two votes, he got to try to defend his winning streak. He chose Already in a Daze with Muchul!! Do you like Superstar Pokémon? (ムチュールにもうむちゅう!!スーパースターはポケモンがおすき?). Up against Professor Red this time was Akiyama and he chose Pull Yourself Together, Lisyan! (シャンとしてリーシャン!) from the Diamond and Pearl series. Like the previous votes, viewers could vote for the episode on the official Pokémon Smash website. The tally was revealed by Shoko-tan. Akiyama won with 24,310 votes while Professor Red's winning streak came to an end as he received 17,720 votes.

Since Akiyama won the third Pokémon Library vote, Pull Yourself Together, Lisyan! (シャンとしてリーシャン!) from the Diamond and Pearl series was this weeks repeat episode. The theme for the episode this week was 'Everyone grows up when the time comes! '(時がくればだれでも成長できる!). A full summary for that episode is available in the episode guide. After Shoko-tan's disasterous attempt to fill in for Red last week, he did his 'OK! Pokémon Library!' go-to line.

The Pokémon Enterprise staff hasn't done well in their Black and White viewer battles as Baba, Yamamoto, Shoko-tan and Professor Red have all had losses. Akiyama and Golgo are the only two staff members with victories. They are currently sporting a 2-4 (Wins/Losses) record and Golgo isn't impressed.

Game Freak Game Designer Shigeki Morimoto was on the show today as a teacher to help tutor the staff in a game theory bootcamp. Shigeki Morimoto also appears in the new Black and White games in Hiun City where he will battle players. He spent the majority of the episode going through basic game procedures and quizing the staff members to see if they were learning.

At the end of the show, the 4th Pokémon Library vote was announced. This time its between Shoko-tan and Baba. Baba chose Rival Showdown! Getting Windie!( ライバル対決!ウインディをゲットかも!) while Shoko-tan chose Attack! The Stray Manyula!!(襲撃!はぐれマニューラ!!) from the Advanced Generation series. Viewers can vote for their favourite episode on the official Pokémon Smash website until midnight on March 14th, 2011.

The Pokémon Smash March calendar was also posted on the official site. In the lastest movies, Satoshi and friends are each seen eating a food from the country or region that the movie is based off of. In the 13th movie, Satoshi ate Belgian Waffles. In Pokémon Smash #11, Akiyama decided that in Movie 14 they should eat favoured shaved ice (カキ氷). He made a few bowls for them to try and then explains that the topings are dark and the ice that is white match the Black and White idea. Akiyama had put Molasses (brown sugar syrup 黒みつ) on Yamamoto's bowl and he put Soy Sauce (しょうゆ) on Baba's. The calendar is based off that scene.

(トゲピーはだれのもの!? / 「ポケモンクイズキャラバン」でサッカーチームのところへ所長と博士が出動! / 映画「ビクティニと黒き英雄 ゼクロム」の最新情報!), aired on Sunday in Japan.

The announcer started off the show by teasing the audience with a preview of two movie posters, one revealed, Victini and the Dark Hero - Zekrom and other one had a big question mark covering it. He then said "Let's kick off!" as the main portion of the show began. Shoko-tan, Golgo and Robert hear a lot of loud construction noises and they realize that Professor Red wasn't with them. Akiyama wonders if Professor Red was working on his inventions again. Red then shows up with a hammer in hand and tells off Robert that he his working on inventions that will award him the Nobel Prize. Red walks out of the room mad that Robert was making fun of his inventions.

After the repeat episode, the International division girls showed up and moments later, the familiar Back to the Future theme played with Professor Red appearing with his latest invention the RED061 - The Revised PokéSmash Face Rejoined (ポケスマ顔合わせレジュンド改) machine. The original RED052 was showcased on Pokémon Sunday 261. The machine splits each of the cast members faces in half and then joins them together to make a new combined face. Episode PicturePokémon Smash Episode 19, Purin's Song, Papa's Song! / Adding New Trainer Cards to the 'PokéSma! Original Card Battle' / Group Member Baba's Television Viewer Battle! (プリンの歌、パパの歌! / トレーナーズのカードを追加してレベルアップした「ポケスマ!オリジナルカードバトル」/視聴者バトルには馬場隊員が登場!), aired on Sunday in Japan.

The episode begins with Shoko-tan mixing up some ingredients for a Valentine's Day treat. Robert and TIM both walk on and are quite scared by the fact that Shoko-tan was making some kind of food. They ask her what's in the 'treat' she is making. Shoko-tan replies that its chocolate and Squid Ink (イカスミ) which really gets the group even more disgusted than they already were. She explains that she is combining White Chocolate (ホワイトチョコ) and Squid Ink (イカスミ) to create Black White Chocolate (ブラックホワイトチョコ). Yamamoto quickly suggests they introduce the Pokémon Library episode for this week to avoid having to talk about Shoko-tan's disgusting treat.

Yamamoto introduces this weeks rerun episode as part of the Pokémon Library and he also announces this weeks theme, Good luck will lead you thought! (がんばれば想いは通じる!). This weeks Pokémon Library rerun episode was Purin's Song, Papa's Song! (プリンの歌、パパの歌!) from the Advanced Generation series. A full summary of that episode is available in the episode guide. Red said the go-to line 'OK! Pokémon Library!' to start the repeat episode.

After the Pokémon Library episode, the International Division girls show up each holding a gift box and they say "Happy Valentine". They brought the gifts to give to TIM and Robert which makes them happy as they all knew about Shoko-tan's gift. The girls put their gifts on the table but Shoko-tan decides to mix up her gift boxes that look the same so no one would know which box was hers. Everyone would have a random gift. Yamamoto is the first to pick a box and Professor Red tells him that 2 of the 5 boxes are actually Shoko-tan's Squid Ink Chocolate (イカスミチョコ). Yamamoto picks a box but then Shoko-tan takes it away and gives him a different one which he quickly objects to. All the other guys take a box. Yamamoto is the first to open his box and he unfortunately gets one of Shoko-tan's boxes. The other 4 guys each taste their chocolates and Baba, Golgo and Red all report that theirs taste good. Akiyama though has a strange look on his face as he continues chewing his chocolate. Unfortunately for him, he got the other Shoko-tan box.

After Akiyama and Yamamoto recovered, the VTR segment 'Adding New Trainer Cards to the 'PokéSma! Original Card Battle' was introduced. The teams were the same as the last card battle. Hana, Misaki, and Yamamoto were on one team and Maria, Baba, and Akiyama were on the other team. The International Group and Adventure Group meet up with Teacher Takashima (タカシマ先生) who was once again their teacher for this segment of the show.

This time Teacher Takashima introduced Trainer cards to the mix from the Pokémon BW Boys and Girls Starter Kits and the first Black and White set. He starts off with a lecture to explain the different types of Trainer cards.

Supporter cards: Supporter cards are also cards to provide advantages to the player and the advantages can be significantly.

Pokémon Goods cards: Pokémon Tools are cards that assist Pokémon by giving them power-ups, for example in Hit Points or attack power.

The card decks were premade this time and the battle started with Akiyama revealing that Maria's teams first Pokémon was Reshiram (BC BW1 013/053) and Yamamoto revealed that their team's first Pokémon was Mijumaru (HS 011/037). Hana's team was the first to go and she picked up a Monster ball card (HS 037/037). The card states: "Flip a coin. If heads, search your deck for a Pokémon, show it to your opponent, and put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward." Hana flipped tails, but decided to use another Monster ball card from her hand. The chose Zekrom (WC BW1 020/053) put it on the bench and then gave Yamamoto Mijumaru a Water energy. Tackle (たいあたり) was used against Akiyama Reshiram and they ran Akiyama into a wall of tin cans. Reshiram is weak against Water attacks, so Akiyama Reshiram's HP was reduced from 130 to 110.

Maria's team went next and they picked up a Fire energy card, but she decided to use a Super Ball (スーパーボール) card (WC BW1 049/053). The card states: "Look at the top 7 cards from your deck, choose a Pokémon from those cards, show it to your opponent, and then put it into your hand. Shuffle the deck afterward." Maria chose Zorua (WC BW1 036/053) and put it on the bench. She then gave Akiyama Reshiram a Fire energy card but she needed two enery to use any attacks.

On second Hana's turn, she picked up a Lightning energy card and gave it to Misaki Zekrom on the bench. She then instructed Yamamoto Mijumaru to use Tackle again. This time Akiyama avoided the charging Yamamoto and he hit the tin can wall. The stunt double for Yamamoto then hit Akiyama on the head with one of the tin cans. Reshiram's HP dropped from 110 to 90.

Maria picked up a Fire energy and then applied it to Reshiram giving it enough energy to use Outrage (げきりん). The attack does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Reshiram. Since Reshiram already had 4 damage counters on it, Outrage could deal 60 damage. A 6 girls showed up with bouncing red balls and threw them at Yamamoto Mijumaru which was enough to knock him out.

Hana picked up a Futachimaru (WC BW1 012/053) and then applied another Lightning energy card to Misaki Zekrom. She then instructed Misaki Zekrom to use Outrage (げきりん) as it now had enough energy to use it. 2 of the girls returned with red bouncing balls and dealt 2 more damage to Akiyama Reshiram lowering its hit points to 70.

Maria picked up another Fire energy card but instead of giving it to Akiyama Reshiram which only needed one more energy card to use Blue Fire (あおいほのお) which is an attack that can deal 120 damage, she decided to apply it to Baba Zorua on the bench. She then used the Potion (きずぐすり) (HS 033/037) to restore 30 damage from Akiyama Reshiram to increase its HP back to 100. Outrage (げきりん) was used again and 5 girls showed up this time and dealt 50 damage lowering Zekrom's HP to 80.

Hana picked up a Water energy card and applied it to Misaki Zekrom. She then instructed Zekrom to use Lightning Strike (らいげき). Akiyama was put into a box that had a glass panel at the front so they could see what was happening. A yellow balloon began inflating behind Akiyama until it got so big that it exploded and a ton of small balls were dropped from above. Misaki Zekrom was dealt 40 damage from the recoil of using Lightning Strike which was represented by her getting hit on the head by a falling tin can. The attack was enough to knock out Akiyama Reshiram.

Maria picked up the Supporter card Cheren (チェレン) (WC BW1 053/053) which allows the player to draw 3 extra cards. She used the card and picked up Zoroark (WC BW1 037/053), another Potion card and a Fire energy card. She evolved Baba Zorua to the Zoroark card and applied another Fire energy card. She then instructed Zoroark to use Foul Play (イカサマ) which states: "Choose an attack that your opponent's Active Pokémon knows. Zoroark uses that attack." Misaki Zekrom was out and it knows Outrage (げきりん) and Lightning Strike (らいげき). Maria then chose to use Lightning Strike (らいげき). She was put into the same box room that Akiyama was in earlier. Zoroark Baba was dealt 40 damage from the recoil of using Lightning Strike which was represented once again by getting hit on the head by a falling tin can. Maria's team ended up winning as they knocked out Misaki Zekrom. This was Maria Team's third straight PokéSma! Original Card Battle victory. Teacher Takashima finishes off by saying that the Supporter card Cheren was the reason the battle changed in favor of Maria's team which highlights the importance of those Trainer cards.

On November 25th, 2010, Akiyama showed up for a meeting with his other Robert group members to discuss Pokémon Black and White. Yamamoto and Baba were both mad at him because at that time he only had 2 badges, only seen 26 Pokémon in his dex and only played for a total of 11:46. Baba then pointed out that the games came out on September 18th, 2010 but Akiyama didn't even start playing until October 12th, 2010. Yamamoto then started doing a Pokémon flip card to see how many of the new 5th generation Pokémon Akiyama could identify. He just tried to avoid having to do so.

Yamamoto then revealed to Akiyama that it was time for him to do another 'Immersed in Pokémon Life' (ポケモンづけ生活!!). Akiyama did a similar task a few months after Pokémon Diamond and Pearl was released and it was showcased on Pokémon Sunday #130.

Throughout Pokémon Sunday, Robert potrayed may characters but as Zoroark, Baba and Akiyama stood waiting they did not know who to expect to showup. Suddenly they hear a voice in the distance and Handsome Yamamoto reveals himself. Together they all head off to the Tokyo Pokémon Center where they see a Pokémon Center staff member outside the building looking a bit worried. Handsome Yamamoto approaches the girl who explains that the Tabunne supposed to come and help out in the shop isn't there yet (お店のおうえんに来てくれるはずのタブンネがなかなか来ない). Handsome Yamamoto tells her its will be all right and quickly runs into the Pokémon Center.

Moments later Tabunne shows up in the Pokémon Center. In both the anime and the games, Handsome is the master of disguise and uses costumes to blend in so that he isn't discovered when he goes undercover. Handsome Yamamoto on the other hand still has a bit of work to do to live up to his counterpart. Baba and Yamamoto watch Handsome Yamamoto Tabunne walk around the Pokémon Center and interact with the patrons. Baba quickly points out that the face looks bad.

It is quickly apparant that Handsome Yamamoto Tabunne's appeal isn't very good as many of the children find him a bit frightening. He then decides to talk to the children in English saying: "Hello!" and "Thank you!" while getting pictures taken. He also solved a rubik's cube but the kids didn't seem to impressed with that skill. Suddenly, the real Pokémon Center Tabunne appeared and all the kids flocked to it. Realizing that the real Tabunne appeared Handsome Yamamoto Tabunne told the Pokémon Center Tabunne to go away (あっちに行け) otherwise it was going to blow his cover and called the other one the fake (ニセモノ) Tabunne. Akiyama and Baba appear and reveal Handsome Yamamoto.

Their next stop is a park where they meet a woman who was supposed to have a children's sketching tournament but the statue of 'The Thinker' was wrecked. Handsome Yamamoto tells her it will be okay and he runs off. Moments later the kids arrive ready to sketch and the girl reveals the 'statue' which is actually Handsome Yamamoto. After a little while, Handsome Yamamoto has a hard time staying still and the paint was starting to flake. Baba and Akiyama appear and try to get Handsome Yamamoto to reveal himself by rubbing the paint off and then the kids put wax tape on his legs to rip the hair off. Finally the kids reveal him by washing the paint off with water.

Back at the studio, Handsome Yamamoto states tha he is in Pokémon Enterprise but the staff doesn't see him anywhere. They begin searching for him and finally Maria thinks she's spotted him and sits on Shoko-tan's desk which had been replaced by Handsome Yamamoto dressed as her desk. Maria, Baba and Akiyama begin kicking him and he finally reveals himself. Handsome Yamamoto then announced that Handsome will be appearing in an upcoming episode of Pocket Monsters Best Wishes with Professor Araragi.

Episode PicturePokémon Smash Episode 16, The Great Starter Pokémon Panic!! / The New Quiz Caravan Game 'Dotekkotsu's Focus Blast Relay Quiz' Starts! / Information on the Anime-related Present for 'Pokémon BW'! (はじ めてのポケモンで大パニック!! / クイズキャラバンで新競技「ドテッコツのきあいだまリレークイズ」がスタート! / アニメに関連した「ポケモンBW」へのプレゼント情報!), aired on Sunday in Japan.

The episode begins with Golgo, Shoko, and Robert having a Minezumi Quiz as they all looked around like a Minezumi to find something hidden. They all looked around and eventually found a picture drawn by Akiyama on Yamamoto's back.

Golgo introduces this weeks rerun episode as part of the Pokémon Library and Shoko announces this weeks theme, (ウソは ついちゃダメ!). This weeks rerun episode was The Great Starter Pokémon Panic!! (はじめてのポケモンで大パニック!!) from the Advanced Generation series. A full summary of that episode is available in the episode guide. Red said the go-to line 'OK! Pokémon Library!' to start the repeat episode.

After the repeat episode, the International Division girls showed up. Professor Red had setup a new game called Kibago's Message Relay Quiz (キバゴ伝言リレークイズ). The game was played by each player on the team closing their eyes and ears until their turn. Each of them had a Kibago like tusk mouth bit that went in their mouth's and they were required to say a line and then pass that line down to the end. The team that got the messaged passed down the line the best was the winner. Shoko and the International Girls were the first team to go.

The first message was: Zoroark and Mijumaru are Shopping (ゾロアークとミジュマルのショッピング). Shoko passed the message onto Hana okay and then Hana passed the message onto Maria fine. Maria then had a hard time talking with the bit in her mouth and Misaki couldn't understand a word she was saying. After a few attempts, Misaki believed she understood what Maria had said and Professor Red wanted to see if the message that was passed along matched the original one he gave to Shoko-tan. Misaki said: Director Zoroark and Kokekokkokkokko (ゾロアーク部長とコケコッコッコッコ). The team blames Maria for the problem they had.

Next up was the Adventure Division and Golgo. Their message was: Gamageroge and Waruvial's Duet (ガマゲロゲとワルビアルのデュエット). Golgo seems to understand Baba and Akiyama also seemed to understand Golgo. When it was time for Akiyama to tell the message to Yamamoto, Yamamoto couldn't understand a think Akiyama was saying. Professor Red then asked Yamamoto what the message was and he said: Gamageroge just got out of the bath (ガマゲロゲとふろあがりおやこに). The blame went to Akiyama for the failure.

The 3rd Quiz Caravan then began with TIM and the International Division. This week they visited Saitama Prefecture, Kawaguchi City, Tokyo Township, Elementary School (埼玉県 川口市立 東京郷小学校). They were greeted by a group of grade 1 and grade 6 students.

Golgo states that this quiz would be based on Pokémon Black and White. The first batch of questions would be answered in a Yes - White (O) or No - Black (X) format and the teams would all have to decide which was the right answer and stand on the appropriate side of the line if they didn't want to get eliminated from the quiz.

No one got question 6 right about Shoko-tan's belt, so they continued the quiz anyhow. The next section of the Caravan Quiz was a new event: Dotekkotsu's Focus Blast Relay Quiz (ドテッコツのきあいだまリレークイズ). Players were split into teams of three and each of them had a steel I-bar that they had to hold up like Dotekkotsu. A ball would roll down through the I-bar and would be passed on to the next person. The person that passed it would then move to the end of the line until they reached the finish line 30 meters away. Before setting off, the players would have to count the number of specific Pokémon on a board which were mixed up with a lot of other Pokémon to make it harder. The first team to correctly tell the number of Pokémon on the board after successfully completing the ball relay without dropping the ball was declared the winner. After being eliminated early in the first quiz round, the International Division girls redeamed themselves and ended up winning this challenge.

The next segment featured a '4 Legged Quiz' (3人4脚ばらまきクイズ) where teams of 3 had their legs tied up and they were sent out to find a specific Pokémon card based on type or information that was called out. Players would have to know the correct Pokémon types for the cards that were distributed throughout the school grounds and then return back to Red and Golgo.
