As part of the 40th anniversary celebration of Corocoro Comics, Lizardon, the Number 1 most popular Pokémon for Corocoro as determined through the campaign conducted in early 2017, has a serial code in the April 2017 issue of Corocoro Comics that allows players of Pocket Monsters Sun or Moon to receive it in-game. Lizardon is a Pokémon that cannot be normally captured in Sun or Moon.

Included in the April 2017 issue of Corocoro Ichiban! is a Pokémon Ga-Olé Ticket that unlocks the special course Thrilling Alola Form Course (アローラのすがたぞくぞくコース). Players can scan the Ga-Olé Tickets QR Code at the arcade game and unlock this course which gives players the chance to catch some of the Alola Form Pokémon including Alola Form Nassy which is usually not obtainable through normal gameplay.

If you purchase a special pre-order ticket that comes with a "Satoshi's Pikachu" serial code, we'll give you "Satoshi's Pikachu", which can use the exclusive Z-Move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt"!

With the special Z-Crystal "SatoPika-Z", which we'll give you at the same time, you'll be able to use the Satoshi's Pikachu-exclusive Z-move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt"!

There are 6 Pikachu in total, which you choose between based on the period you receive it!

The exclusive Z-Move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt"!

The fact that the "Satoshi's Pikachu" we're giving out all look different isn't all that's special about them, they can also use the exclusive Z-Move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt". "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt" is a special Z-Move that can be used by "Satoshi's Pikachu" that know Thunderbolt if they hold the "SatoPika-Z" they get distributed alongside.



"10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt" is used by sending Z-Power to "Satoshi's Pikachu", and makes the user gather lightning from a thundercloud before attaking the opponent by firing a 7-colored electric shock from its body. This is a very powerful Z-Move that's not only extremely strong, but that also has the additional effect of easily doing a critical hit. Make sure to receive "Satoshi's Pikachu" and the "SatoPika-Z" and give it a try.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced the Kapu-Kokeko Campaign (カプ・コケコキャンペーン) will be held starting on March 17th, 2017 in Japan. Kapu-Kokeko related products and promo presents will be available throughout the campaign. Kapu-Kokeko is a Pokémon that appears in the Nintendo 3DS games Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon as well as the TV anime series. It is known as the Guardian deity of Melemele Island.

Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko Event Pokémon Distribution

From March 17th, 2017 until April 9th, 2017, players of Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon will be able to obtain a serial code to get an Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko. Kapu-Kokeko normally has a yellow appearance but this special Black Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko cannot be obtained in regular gameplay. The serial code can be used from March 17th, 2017 until May 31st, 2017.

How to Obtain the Serial Code for Kapu-Kokeko

If a player purchases a copy of Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon or shows the title screen on their Nintendo 3DS at a participating shop, they will receive a paper with a serial code written on it. The following shops are offering the serial code at participating locations: Apita·Piago, Aeon·Aeon Supercenter·Aeon Style·Aeon retail stores, Ito Yokado, EDION, GEO, Joshin Denki, TSUTAYA, Toys R Us, Nojima, Bic Camera, Fuji, Tay Two, Heiwado, Yamada Denki, Yodobashi Camera , WonderGOO, Pokémon Centers·Pokémon Stores, Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Books and some 7-Eleven.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced the full details for Pikachu's Easter - Sparkling Spring Festival Campaign (ピカピカ春祭りキャンペーン) which will take place from March 18th, 2017 until April 9th, 2017 at the Pokémon Centers and Stores in Japan. As part of the campaign, new cute spring themed goods will be released and there will be battle events for the games as well.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced a tie-in Event Pokémon Distribution with an advertising campaign for Pokémon Sun and Moon with Olympic Gold Medalist Saori Yoshida (吉田 沙保里) that began in late January 2017. Saori is a highly decorated Japanese freestyle wrestler and the commercials for the games feature Saori and Kairiky.

Saori's Kairiky (サオリのカイリキー) will be distributed at participating 7-Eleven, Tsutaya, Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores from February 8th, 2017 until February 28th, 2017.

Kairiky's are characterized for having high attack power and are a Pokémon which can be used for a big battle. Normally, Kairiky is a rare Pokémon that can not be obtained unless it evolves through a trade with other players! Saori's Kairiky knows a lot of moves that Saori Yoshida likes.

As part of the opening festivities for the Pokémon Center Sapporo, an Alolan Rokon was distributed as a present to visitors of the Pokémon Center with Pokémon Sun or Moon from December 1st, 2016 until January 31st, 2017. That Alolan Rokon will now be distributed at all the Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores nationwide in Japan from February 1st, 2017 until March 12th, 2017.

As announced on November 17th, 2016, the Magearna event distribution QR Code for Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon is now available to use. Initially it was announced that this code would be available from December 5th, 2016 until March 5th, 2017 but the official Pokémon website now states that the code does not expire.

Those who have completed the main story in Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon can now get the Mythical Pokémon Magearna via the QR Scanner feature by scanning the QR Code below. The Steel- and Fairy-type Magearna is the first Mythical Pokémon you can obtain in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. Learn more about this cool Pokémon on the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon official site. This code will continue to work indefinitely, so there's no rush to beat the game!

The official Japanese Pokémon website announced a massive Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store event that takes place through October and November 2016. The Pokémon Center Occupation Plan (ポケモンセンター占拠計画) features the 6 major gangs: Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Ginga, Plasma and Flare from the Pokémon franchise taking over. The campaign features event Pokémon distributions, themed merchandise and cosplay events featuring all these gangs.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Bosses' Pokémon Event Distribution

Each week, for 6 weeks from October 1st, 2016 until November 11th, 2016, one of the enemy organizations will occupy each Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store and a event Pokémon present will be distributed. The Pokémon distributed is one of occupying Sinister Organisation's Bosses' Pokémon. Each week, the enemy organization occupying the Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store changes to a different gang, so patrons need to check the schedule. Players of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are eligible to receive these

There are 6 different distribution weeks, so everyone should be able to get all 6 Boss Pokémon at their local Pokémon Center or Pokémon Store during time or visit other locations to get them ahead of time.

On October 7th, 2016, it was announced that due to popular demand, the event present distribution would be extended to November 12th and 13th, 2016 and on each of those days, all 6 Pokémon would be available at different times of the day at all the participating locations.

As part of the the Pokémon All-Star event being held at Monaco Space, Seoul, South Korea, an alternate-colored Diancie will be distributed on August 13th, 2016 and August 14th, 2016 from 11:00am until 5:00pm on both days to players of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire via infrared.

The alternate-colored Diancie is level 50 and know the moves: Diamond Storm, Moon Blast, Reflect and Return.
