The Pokémon Futsal Challenge
Pokémon UK has announced that they have teamed up with The Football Association in England and have provided teachers and SGOs resources as part of the Pokémon Futsal Challenge. The goal is to get kids active and interested in Football while involving them in a fun filled activity which gets kids moving with the purpose of maximising the School Games values and ensuring all children can achieve.
Football is the national sport of England and it is an invasion game, traditionally played between two teams of eleven players, but can also be played in other formats such as 5v5, 7v7 and 9v9. The game was born in England but has since become the most played sport in the world.

Pokémon Journeys: The Series Bingo with Netflix
March 5th, 2021 marks the air date for the final 12 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, which are available to watch on Netflix. To promote the series, the official Pokémon website has posted a Pokémon Journeys: The Series Bingo PDF which can be downloaded and printed out to use while watching the series on Netflix.
The research, battles, and adventures continue with 12 new episodes of the animated series.
The journey that began with a young Ash sleeping late and an enthusiastic Goh impressing a Pokémon Professor with his knowledge continues with the final 12 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, which have just arrived on Netflix. Ash and Goh have come a long way as friends and Pokémon Trainers, but episodes 37 to 48 will present fresh challenges, bigger battles, and exciting research opportunities. And with Pikachu and Raboot at their side, Ash and Goh are ready for any adventure.
In the first 36 episodes of Pokémon Journeys: The Series, Ash and Goh bonded over their shared passion for Pokémon and became research assistants at the Cerise Laboratory in Vermilion City. How to Play Pokémon bingo:
- Download and print the eight unique bingo cards and sheets of Poké Ball markers.
- Cut out the Poké Ball markers from the sheet.
- Distribute one bingo card and a handful of Poké Ball markers to each player.
- Start watching Pokémon Journeys: The Series on Netflix. It's not necessary to start at Episode 1, but it might be more enjoyable to play while watching the entire season.
- When an event or Pokémon on your card appears, mark it by placing a printed out Poké Ball on that square.
- The first player to mark five consecutive squares vertically, horizontally, or diagonally calls out “bingo” and wins the round!

Four new Pokémon Utility Hole Covers, or PokéLids (Pokéfuta ポケふた) have been unveiled and installed on Chichijima Island which is within the political boundaries of Ogasawara Village, Tokyo. The total number of Pokémon PokéLids has finally reached 151! High resolution pictures taken from the unveiling event have been added to an Imageborad thread.
February 27th, 2021 marks exactly 25 years since the release of the first Pokémon games, Pocket Monsters Red and Green in 1996. The four PokéLids installed on this memorable day are Fushigibana, Lizardon, and Kamex, the evolved forms of Fushigidane, Hitokage, and Zenigame, which appear as the first three starter Pokémon in those games, as well as Mew, the Mythical Pokémon.
The PokéLids depict with the majestic nature of the Ogasawara Islands, which is an an area registered as a World Natural Heritage site. With these new PokéLids, the total number installed around Japan has now exceeded 151, bringing the total to 152.
Each PokéLids is an original design and each is unique. The PokéLids will continue to be installed for years to come. It is hoped that the PokéLids will serve as an opportunity for many people around the country and the world to learn about the charms of Pokémon and Ogasawara Village. The PokéLids that are installed will gradually become PokéStops for the location-based game Pokémon GO for smartphones.

If a Pikachu lure swims, it must be cute. If Duo makes it, it's bound to catch fish. When you can catch fish with a Pikachu lure, you know it's going to be fun.
The tail hook dramatically improves the hooking rate, and the tail has a built-in wire to make sure you get your chance. Once you have cast it to your target area, wind it slowly to make it appealing.
Pikachu lures are 100% MADE IN JAPAN. Every step of the process, from the mold to the lure, is done in Yaizu, the home of lures!
The line may get tangled in the tail hook. Please remove the tail hook if you are worried about that. The ears are easily damaged by the design. Please be careful not to come in contact with obstacles when casting.

It is also effective to give the lure a "trigger" to start swimming and to control the lure by slowing it down after a "dead" throw. It has a feather hook for excellent hooking performance!
The Kyogre Crawler type lure is also made in Japan by DUO International who carefully finish each one.

Today, during a Pokémon Presents video presentation, Tsunekazu Ishihara—president and CEO of The Pokémon Company—announced Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus—new video games coming to the blockbuster series that spans 25 years. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl will launch in late 2021, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus will launch in early 2022. All three games will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch™ system.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus brings Trainers to the vast Sinnoh region as it existed in the past, long before the setting for Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl was established. Rich in nature and with Mount Coronet towering at its heart, this is a Sinnoh unlike anything Trainers have experienced before as they embark to create the region’s first Pokédex.

New Pokémon Snap is a previously announced video game in which players will take on the role of a budding Pokémon photographer in the Lental region. There they will work with Professor Mirror, the region’s expert, on an ecological survey to photograph Pokémon thriving in nature. The game will be available on April 30, 2021, on the Nintendo Switch family of systems.

Wild Pokémon thrive on the islands of the Lental region, where environments can differ greatly, making for a variety of habitats where different Pokémon expressions and behaviours can be observed. Players will be able to get their attention by playing a melody or throwing fluffruit. They’ll also be able to use an Illumina orb (an invention of Professor Mirror’s) on Pokémon to witness something out of the ordinary. They can even use their camera to run scans, which can help them find hidden Pokémon or inspect their surroundings. As players keep researching a course, their research level there will increase, and they may discover Pokémon acting in different ways. Trainers may even encounter Legendary Pokémon or Mythical Pokémon.
A photo’s score will be based on the subjects’ poses, how large they appear, how directly they’re facing the camera, and where they fall in frame. Each photo will get one to four stars, indicating how common or rare the behaviour displayed is. Players will have to take many photos to fill out their Photodex, which is their collection of Pokémon photographs.
Photos taken while conducting research can also be saved to a personal album, which is separate from the Photodex. When a course is completed, players can use the re-snap function to adjust the brightness, blur, zoom, and other aspects of their recently snapped photos. After photos are saved to the personal album, a photo-editing mode will enable players to customize their photos with stickers, frames, and filters.
New Pokémon Snap also has several online features that enable players to share photos and compete with others around the world through ranking systems.[1]

On Monday, February 22nd, 2021, items in collaboration with illustrator Kino Takahashi (高橋きの) will appear at the Pokémon Center! February 22nd is Galarian Nyarth Day and the comical illustrations depict the Nyarth spending their free time at will. In addition to the fluffy plush toys, there are also hair bands, mugs, bowls, and other items for everyday use. Let's get some goods to spend a relaxing time at home with Nyarth and its friends! The Pokémon Center Online will start selling them from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19th, 2021.
