Upcoming Episodes

New episodes of the Pocket Monsters anime air Thursday evenings at 6:55PM JST and new episodes of the variety show Pokénchi air Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM JST on TV Tokyo in Japan. Pokémon airs Saturday morning at 9 AM EST and every Saturday and Sunday evening at 7:30 PM on Disney XD in the United States. Pokémon the Series also airs every weekday at 4 PM. Pokémon airs Saturday's at Noon EST on Teletoon in Canada. New titles are revealed in various publications such as: TV guides, childrens' magazines, anime magazines, promotional posters and videos, official websites and official television programs. Titles and their translations are added to our episode guide and the chart below when the titles are revealed.

Official Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia Website Launches

screenshotThe official Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia website has launched and it includes lots of cool interactive flash activities. Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia (ポケモンレンジャー バトナージ, Pokémon Ranger: Batonage) is an action/role-playing video game developed by HAL Laboratory for the Nintendo DS video game console and it is the sequel to Pokémon Ranger.

The website converts your mouse cursor into a DS stylus and allows you to interact with the website similar to the way you would on your DS. Pokemon wander around the screen, and you can use the mouse cursor stylus to capture the Pokemon to unlock downloads from the website. The website also includes lots of pictures, art, wallpapers and information about the new game.

Episode PictureThe latest episodes of Pocket Monsters Diamond&Pearl, Elite Four Ryō! Forest of Meeting and Separation! ( 四天王リョウ!出会いと別れの森!), aired on October 23rd in Japan.

After leaving Zui Town, Satoshi and his friends stop by a town and where they see a large crowd. They hear that Ryo from the Elite Four is having a public practice session and decide to watch the practice. What could possibly go wrong while watching a practice session?

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl DVD Review

DVDAs part of our growing website, we have written a review comparing the lastest Pokemon Diamond and Pearl DVD from Viz with the equivalent Japanese DVD.

The review compares Video Quality, Audio Quality, Packaging / Extras from first episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, Following a Maiden's Voyage! (旅立ち!フタバタウンからマサゴタウンへ!! / Setting Off! From Futaba Town to Masago Town!!). It first aired in Japan on September 28, 2006 as part of the launch day celebration for the Japanese release of Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl for the Nintendo DS. The English dubbed version aired on Cartoon Network on April 20, 2007.

More Information Released about the Minna no Pokémon Bokujō Platinum Update

picA picture from a Minna no Pokémon Bokujō (My Pokémon Ranch) flyer released on the Japanese Imageboard 2ch has some more information about the upcoming Pocket Monsters Platinum compatibility.

According to the official Minna no Pokémon Bokujō website, the update will be available some time in November. Those that have the game already will be able to download the update for free when it's available. Those that don't own the current version will be able to download the updated version as well for 1000 Wii point.

The update will increase the number of Pokemon that can be stored in the farm from 1000 to 1500. The picture also indicates that Giratina's Origin Forme with be depositiable and Shaymin Sky Forme is also compatible with the new update. With the recent announcement of Rotom's new formes, it is most likely they will be included in this update as well.

MOVIE THE BEST Pocket Monsters Best Movie Songs 1998-2008 CD Announced

MOVIE THE BEST Pocket Monsters Best Movie Songs 1998-2008 CD collection was announced today and will be released on December 19th, 2008, the same day that the Pocket Monsters Movie 11 DVD will be released. Included on the CD's are the theme songs from most the Pocket Monsters movies from 1998 to 2008.

The release will be split across 3 CD's and will include 35 tracks from the Japanese Pocket Monsters Movies. The CD collection has a manufactures retail price of 3570 yen (tax included). The catalog number for the CD is ZMCP-4371

I Will Be With You - Where the Lost Ones Go is not included in the CD collection. Obviously this is due to a licensing agreement with Sarah Brightman as the song is only available on her single CD.

The CD has been added to our database and will be updated as soon as more information is available. Full track listings for this CD are available in the CD Database.

The CD is available for pre-order from Amazon.co.jp and cdjapan.

Shinji Again!' / 'The Children are Delighted, Let's Make Sushi!' / 'Pocket Monsters Platinum' Battle Lecture (ダイヤモンド&パールリターンズ「迷いの森!シンジふたたび!!」 「子供たちがよろこぶお寿司を作ろう!」 「ポケットモンスター プラチナ」バトル講座), aired on Sunday in Japan.

This weeks Pokémon Revival episode is 迷いの森!シンジふたたび!! (Forest of Hesitation! Shinji Again!) which is the sixth episode of Diamond & Pearl. Eipom and Pochama get into a fight over an orange while Naetle breaks it up. Satoshi is then confronted by Shinji while in the forest. What will happen between these two rivals?

In this weeks episode, the Pokemon Sunday gang visits a Sushi restaurant where they compete against each other to make the best sushi. Later on in the episode, Game Freak Battle Director Shigeki Morimoto (森本茂樹) comes in to explain some of the features in Pocket Monsters Platinum.
