The official Japanese Pokémon website and Premium Bandai have officially revealed the G.E.M. Sleeping with Kabigon (G.E.M. カビゴンとおやすみ) figure which can be pre-ordered from now until the end of October 2020 for 14,850 yen including tax. It will be released in February of 2021. High resolution photos of the model have been added to an Imageboard thread.

On October 23rd, 2020, the Pokémon anime will begin its "Sword/Shield Chapter", which will explore the legends and secrets of the Galar region! A new key visual has been released

A new key visual has been unveiled for the popular anime "Pocket Monsters", which air every Sunday, in order to mark its move to a Friday evening timeslot. The new key visual depicts the legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta that appear in the video game "Pocket Monsters Sword/Shield."


It was also announced that the "Sword/Shield Chapter", which will see Satoshi and Go explore the legends and secrets of the Galar region, will begin on Friday October 23rd and run for 4 weeks. We will now present a synopsis and selection of screenshots from this Sword/Shield Chapter. Make sure not to miss these story developments, which are unique to the anime?!

Sword/Shield Chapter synopsis
Pokémon that has grown gigantic are running wild?!
Satoshi and Go head to the Galar region in order to investigate an incident that has taken place there. And when they arrive, they see groups of Pokémon that have grown gigantic running wild! To resolve this crisis, Satoshi joins up with Dande, the Greatest of Them All, while Go tries solving the mystery alongside Sonia, who aims to become a Pokémon Professor. An organization that intends to bring back the Black Night, the disaster that struck the Galar region in the distant past, are working behind the scenes of this incident!
When all the mysteries are unraveled, the horrific howl of the disaster's return can be felt!
And as all of Galar becomes a site of chaos, two heroes wake from a long sleep.

We were also given details on an extravagant giveaway program taking place during the show for these four weeks, as well as on the participants of an online talk event that would take place over the same period:

It has been decided that the TV Tokyo anime "Pocket Monsters" will be moving to Fridays at 6:55pm starting Friday October 9th! A new key visual has been unveiled to mark this move to "Golden Friday". It has also been decided to hold an extravagant giveaway program during the show for these four weeks, as well as to give details on the participants of an online talk event that would take place over the same period!

The new key visual depicts Thunder and Suicune, as well as the legendary Pokémon that appear in the latest video games, "Pocket Monsters Sword/Shield". and hints towards upcoming story elements. In addition, the "Sword/Shield Chapter", which will see Satoshi and Go explore the legends and secrets of the Galar region, will begin on Friday October 23rd and run for 4 weeks! Believe it or not, the Lucario and Aceburn you can see on the key visual are actually...?! Make sure to pay attention to this story arc, which you just can't miss out on watching as it airs!

In addition, details on the first ever 4 week long online live talk event in Pokemon anime history have been made public as well! It's going to feature extravagant voice actors that provide the voices of popular characters that have become the talk of the town thanks to their appearances in the Pocket Monsters anime, starting with Satoshi's voice actor Rica Matsumoto and Koharu's voice actor Kana Hanazawa, but also including Kibana's voice actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Saito's voice actor Yoko Hikasa, and more! We've also prepared all kinds of segments,including a "lines I want the characters to say" segment the voice actors will try their hands on that will also feature members of the production staff like executive director Daiki Tomiyasu and sound director Masafumi Mima, comment videos from secret guests, and a riddle segment with Ryogo Matsumaru. Pokédel-z (ポケデルゼ) is a toy game by Takara Tomy that ties into the Moncolle Monster Collection and new products were released in Japan on September 19th, 2020. When a ball is rolled, it opens up and the placed Moncolle flies out of the middle of it and Pokédel-z! Zacian and Zamazenta are available in a set as are Aceburn and Lucario in a Satoshi vs Go anime tie-in set.

You can even enjoy Pokémon battles by comparing the numbers of the ball's sides! Each side has a number on the inside of the ball and when it opens and stops rolling, the number on the top face is the battle number. If the player has a higher number than the other player, they win the battle! There are additional tags with types on them which can be used to increase the players overall battle number. Put your favorite Pokémon Moncolle in the ball and turn yourself into a Pokémon trainer!

TV Tokyo has announced that the Pocket Monsters 2019 series will switch time slots from Sunday's at 6pm to Friday's at 6:55pm starting with the October 9th, 2020 episode. The announcement was confirmed in the end sponsor segment of PM2019 37.

During the official Pokémon Sword and Shield - Pokemon Korea Champion Invitational Broadcast (포켓몬스터소드・실드 포켓몬 대한민국 챔피언 초청전 생중계) which was broadcast on YouTube on September 5th, 2020, a serial code to get a King’s Rock in Pokémon Sword and Shield was announced. Details about the Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution (극장판 포켓몬스터 뮤츠의 역습 EVOLUTION) event Pokémon distributions were also announced during the stream. The movie which premieres in South Korea on September 30th, 2020 will have 2 serial codes. Players of Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's, Go, Eevee! can get a level 70 Mewtwo that knows the moves Psychic, Shadow Ball, Barrier and Calm Mind. Ash’s Charizard, which is level 50, will be available to players of Pokémon Sword and Shield and knows the moves Flamethrower, Dragon Tail, Slash and Seismic Toss.

The official Pokémon website has announced that Pokémon Journeys: The Series will have 12 new episodes air on Netflix on September 11th, 2020. PJ13 to PJ24 will be available to watch that day.

Rica Matusumoto attended Otakuthon 2019, and participated in a autograph session, a panel session, and a concert where she sung three songs last year. Rica Matsumoto is a seiyuu (voice actress), a singer, and a multi-talent actress. Her activity area covers a wide range including Japan, China, America, Russia, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Spain, and Vietnam. Rica Matsumoto (松本 梨香 Matsumoto Rika, born November 30, 1968) is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer who was born in Yokohama, Japan. Her name is also sometimes romanized as Rika Matsumoto. She was one of the founders of the Anison band JAM Project. After early-stage work, she began both voice acting and singing careers. Her most popular role is Satoshi (Ash Ketchum in English translations), the main character of the anime series Pokémon. She also had a role in the Yu-Gi-Oh series as Ryo Bakura and Yami Bakura. As such, Matsumoto has taken on roles for young boys. Matsumoto also performs the songs for many of the openings for the Japanese Pokémon anime. On August 15 and 16, Otakuthon, Montreal’s own anime festival, will be holding an online, virtual “At Home” edition of their event this summer. While their physical event, which normally brings in over 25,000 people to the Palais des congrès de Montréal over a single weekend each year, was cancelled due to the pandemic, this year’s virtual event will feature some of the festival’s mainstay events such as concerts, panels, and guests. In addition, the festival will be bringing back favourites such as Masquerade and Otakuthon Idol, in a virtual manner. The full schedule of events will be available closer to the dates of the festival.

The event is set to run from 11:00 AM until 11:00 PM EDT each day and will feature a variety of guests from North America and Japan. There will also be a variety of exhibitors virtually present to help satisfy shoppers looking for anime goods or searching for that unique art piece. The platform being used for this event will allow attendees to privately chat with exhibitors but they will also be able to chat with other attendees on various topics involving anime and the Japanese culture.

Synopsis:

What awaits them there are encounters with Ema, a girl whose father is an Aurora researcher,

In the previous episode, Allister came to the aid of John and Tommy, the two boys who were featured in the series' first episode. Now, thanks to the letter that John wrote Rose, all the kids at the hospital are invited to Leon's Championship match! Unfortunately, John oversleeps and almost misses his chance to go to the stadium. With time running short, he must find a way to get there before the battle starts. You can see if he makes it in this final episode of Pokémon: Twilight Wings, titled “Sky.”
