The song Utau is said to be based on imase's "love for Pokémon" as he played the Pokémon series, including Pokémon Diamond and Pearl which released in 2006, with great enthusiasm. Names of Pokémon are hidden throughout the lyrics, such as Hitokage.
Prior to its release, Utau will be aired for the first time on J-WAVE (81.3 FM) SONAR MUSIC on September 13th, 2022. Starting with this song, the Pokémon Music Collective plans to release songs produced by various artists on a regular basis.
IMASE Comments
When defeated by a strong opponent, before challenging a Gym Leader, or the Pokémon League, there was always a Pokémon Center nearby. I created this song so that listeners can imagine the Pokémon Center, which holds such a special place in my heart. I hope that the Pokémon Center will be in everyone's hearts as well....... (There are various Pokémon hidden in the lyrics, so please look for them!)
The Mid-Autumn Moon is the moon usually visible starting on August 15th in the lunar calendar used in olden times. NEW CHARACTERS, POKÉMON, AND FEATURES REVEALED FOR POKÉMON SCARLET AND POKÉMON VIOLET
Choose your own path in the Paldea region and face off against Team Star!
BELLEVUE, Wash. — September 7, 2022 — Today, The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo revealed more details about the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games. Multiple story paths, new features, new characters, and more Pokémon from the Paldea region were announced. Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will launch November 18, 2022, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch™ system.
Your Own Story, Woven Through Your Treasure Hunt
In Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, players are enrolled in a school that will host an independent study project themed, “A Treasure Hunt.” Three stories will be woven into the player’s adventures while traversing the sprawling Paldea region:
Victory Road: Players will go to Gyms in different locations to achieve Champion Rank.
Path of Legends: Upperclassmen Arven will join the player in search of rare ingredients called Herba Mystica.
Starfall Street: Players will challenge Team Star, a group of delinquents causing trouble for the school.
These stories are set in an open world teeming with Pokémon and people to meet, so players can determine which path to take and explore however they desire.
Your Own Story, Woven Through Your Treasure Hunt
The school that you’ve enrolled in hosts a special independent study project. The theme of this assignment is “A Treasure Hunt.” Explore the world and seek out your very own treasure!
Three stories will be woven into your adventure while traversing the sprawling Paldea region. Along Victory Road, you will go to Gyms in different locations in order to to achieve Champion Rank. On the Path of Legends, you can join Arven in search of rare ingredients. And in ★ Starfall Street ★, you’ll challenge Team Star, a group of delinquents causing trouble for the school.
These stories are set in an open world, so where you go is all up to you. A world teeming with Pokémon and people to meet is waiting for you—traverse the Paldea region wherever you heart desires.
Victory Road—Your Path to Champion Rank
There are eight Pokémon Gyms in different locations throughout Paldea, all managed by the Pokémon League. If a Trainer makes their way to the Gyms, defeats all of the Gym Leaders, and then passes the Champion Assessment at the Pokémon League headquarters, they can earn the coveted Champion Rank.
After accepting Nemona’s suggestion to become a Champion-ranked Trainer, you too will be able to visit the eight Pokémon Gyms scattered across the region.
The First Trial of the Gyms: The Gym Test
At a Pokémon Gym, you must first pass a Gym Test before you’ll be allowed to challenge the Gym Leader. The contents of these Gym Tests are unique to each Gym, but through them, you might come to learn more about the customs and unique features of each city and town, as well as what kind of people the Gym Leaders are.
Ms. Geeta, Chairwoman of the Pokémon League
Geeta is the chairwoman of the Pokémon League, which operates Paldea’s Pokémon Gyms. Among the region’s Champions, she reigns supreme as the most skilled Triner of all. Though mild-mannered, Geeta still has a commanding presence, and it’s said that anyone who calls themselves a Pokémon Trainer looks up to her. It appears that she is looking for exceptional young talents capable of conquering the Pokémon League.
Brassius, Gym Leader of the Artazon Gym
Brassius is the Gym Leader of Artazon, a town that’s alive with flowers and art. He specializes in using Grass-type Pokémon and is known as the Verdant Virtuoso. Gym Leader Brassius treats Pokémon battles as works of art and is always in search of artistic quality, using his Gym Test to help judge a Trainer’s aesthetic sensibilities.
His pièce de résistance, “Surrendering Sunflora,” is a statue installation depicting adorable Sunflora with somber expressions. Just what these Sunflora are surrendering to is a topic of debate among connoiseurs.
Face Off Against the School’s Troublemakers in ★ Starfall Street ★
Team Star was formed by the school’s most rebellious students and is made up of several squads. Each squad is led by its own boss, each with their own base scattered across the Paldea region. These class-cutting delinquents cause trouble for all those around them, giving the academy’s students and teachers a hard time by disturbing the peace and using pushy recruitment tactics. March up to their bases and face off against the troublemaking Team Star!
Make Your Way into Team Star’s Bases to Take Down Their Bosses!
When you go to take on each squad’s base, Team Star’s many grunts will send out a relentless barrage of Pokémon to get in your way. By defeating enough of the grunts’ Pokémon within a given time limit, you’ll be able to challenge their boss to a battle. Engage in Auto Battles—a convenient feature that’s new to these titles—to overcome the unending barrage of Team Star’s grunts and their Pokémon! NOTE: The uniforms worn by the members of Team Star will differ depending on the version of the game you play.
Take on the Bosses Riding Their Starmobiles
Once you overcome the waves of Team Star Grunts, their boss will appear in a custom car called the Starmobile. It seems that during your Pokémon battles with these bosses, the Starmobile itself will get in your way. Take down each squad’s boss by defeating their party Pokémon and their Starmobiles!
Mela, Boss of the Schedar Squad (AKA Team Star’s Fire crew)
Mela is the boss of Team Star’s Fire crew, the Schedar Squad. As the team’s best all-rounder, Mela fixes any and every problem thrown her way, though her methods are heavy-handed. She leaves a forceful and gruff impression, but her steadfast devotion to completing anything she puts her mind to has earned her the trust of her teammates. NOTE: The uniforms worn by the members of Team Star will differ depending on the version of the game you play.
Let’s Go! A Handy Feature for Exploring the Paldea Region
Players can have one Pokémon out and walking with them in the Paldea region’s great outdoors. When they have a Pokémon exploring with them in the field, players can use the “Let’s Go!” feature to send that Pokémon off in the direction they indicate. The Pokémon the player sends out then independently picks up items in the area and even has Auto Battles with nearby Pokémon.
More Pokémon Revealed
In addition to new regional Pokémon found across both Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, different species of Pokémon will appear depending on which game the player purchases. Armarouge can be encountered in Pokémon Scarlet and Ceruledge can be encountered in Pokémon Violet.
Armarouge
Armarouge’s set of armor belonged to a distinguished warrior and is the source of the energy used for its Psychic-type moves. It also uses the psychic capabilities of this armor to control the fire energy within its body and unleash attacks.
Category: Fire Warrior Pokemon
Type: Fire/Psychic
Height: 4'11”
Weight: 187.4 lbs.
Ability: Flash Fire
Ceruledge
Ceruledge dons an old set of armor steeped in grudges and wields blades made of fire and ghost energy. In battle, these blades transform into great swords to increase Ceruledge’s power. Cuts from these great swords leave wounds from which life energy will flow.
Category: Fire Blades Pokemon
Type: Fire/Ghost
Height: 5'3”
Weight: 136.7 lbs.
Ability: Flash Fire
The final revealed Pokémon Klawf can be encountered in both Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

They can latch upside down onto cliffs to ambush their prey from above, however, they eventually get dizzy from the blood rushing to their heads, so they cannot stay upside down for very long.

The Pokémon Company and Takara Tomy have announced a new line of goods called Pokémon Peaceful Place. The lineup features plushies, mascots, LINE stickers, shared house modules and other miscellaneous items. The Pokémon Peaceful Place line will go on sale in October 2022. High resolution pictures of the PokéPeace House have been added to an Imageboard thread.
What is a PokéPeace?
Somewhere in the world, in a small town,
There is a shared house where Pokémon and humans meet.
Life here is laid-back, and carefree.
Everyone takes a nap, or has a party on special occasions.
The "peaceful" life of Pokémon.
Why don't you take a peek?
Pikachu
A serious, hard-working Pokémon who is always at the center of everyone's attention. It is happy when everyone is having fun. But lately, it feels that it likes to spend time alone. If it tries too hard, it sometimes loses its charge.
Pochama
The self-proclaimed king of the shared house. It is proud and competitive. But it is also a bit of a klutz, and is a beloved character that you can't help but admire. It is a glutton and eats a lot.
Hibanny
Energy explosion! Always full of energy, it is the mood maker of the shared house! It is interested in many things and is always running around. Recently, it seems to be into dancing. It is always ready to pose for the camera.
Mokuroh
The most laid-back Pokémon in the shared house. It usually sleeps during the daytime, but wakes up when it feels like having fun. It seems to feel at home in a small quiet space. It watches everyone very closely.
Nyasper
It has a mysterious personality. It is very fashionable, so checking its fur in the morning is part of its daily routine. When she is thinking, it has a habit of speaking out. When it thinks too much, it sometimes overflows with psycho power...!
Pichu
It is a hard worker who wants to quickly grow up. As the youngest child in the shared house, it is loved by everyone. It tries its hand at many things, but it still can't seem to get things right. When it gets excited, it sometimes gets shocked from its own electricity.
Mahomil
It was born from the sweet smell of the kitchen. Fluffy and twirling around, it has a smiling face and a good fragrance. Mahomil is the reason why the shared house is filled with a friendly atmosphere. Sometimes, you can find it hiding in the goodie case.

YouTube Clip - Mew Character Spotlight | Pokémon UNITE
Each time Mew uses a move, it gains a boost counter. A maximum of three counters can be stored. After three boost counters are stored, Mew’s next basic attack becomes a boosted attack that consumes all boost counters and launches a ball of psychic energy at an opposing Pokémon. The further the ball of psychic energy travels, the more damage it deals.
Mew’s Ability, Synchronize, increases the movement speed of both Mew and nearby ally Pokémon for a short time each time Mew uses a move. When Mew reaches Lv. 5, the Move Reset icon can be used to reset Mew’s moves and learn new ones. This icon goes on cooldown after it is used. Each time Mew knocks out or makes an assist on a Pokémon on the opposing team or scores a goal, the cooldown of Move Reset is reduced. Using Move Reset reduces the cooldown of Mew’s Unite Move.
Lv. 1 Moves
Electro Ball
Mew hurls an electric orb, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and leaving them paralyzed for a short time. Electro Ball deals more damage the lower the opposing Pokémon’s remaining HP is.
Electro Ball can be upgraded to strengthen the effect of the paralysis it inflicts.
Solar Beam
Mew blasts a bundled beam of light, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect. If Solar Beam hits any opposing Pokémon, Mew gains one additional boost counter.
Solar Beam can be upgraded to reduce its cooldown by one second for each opposing Pokémon it hits.
Surf
Mew charges forward on a wave, shoving opposing Pokémon and leaving them unable to act. If Surf hits any opposing Pokémon, Mew gains one additional boost counter. Mew gains a shield and becomes immune to hindrances while using Surf. At the end of Surf, Mew can jump in a designated direction and becomes immune to hindrances for a short time. Surf can be upgraded to strengthen the effect of the shield granted while using it.
Lv. 3 Moves
Coaching
Mew moves toward an ally Pokémon, grants that Pokémon a shield, and increases that Pokémon’s basic attack speed. Using Coaching on an ally Pokémon designates that ally as “coached” (if it isn’t already). If Coaching is used on an ally Pokémon that is not currently coached, Coaching’s cooldown immediately resets. Coached ally Pokémon cease to be coached after a set amount of time. The cooldown of Electro Ball, Solar Beam, or Surf is reduced each time Coaching is used.
Coaching can be upgraded to reduce its cooldown. This upgrade also reduces the waiting time before Coaching can be used on a recently coached ally Pokémon again without triggering its cooldown.
Light Screen
Mew creates a translucent wall at the designated location. Opposing Pokémon cannot pass through the wall and will be shoved if they make contact with it. If Mew’s Electro Ball, Solar Beam, or Surf move passes through the wall, the effects of the move (such as damage, range, and area of effect) will be boosted. If Light Screen is used again, it pulls the wall closer and has it move with Mew. While the wall moves with Mew, attacks from opposing Pokémon that pass through it will deal reduced damage. Light Screen can be upgraded to increase the size of the wall.
Agility
Mew moves quickly in a designated direction, increasing its movement speed for a short time. A maximum of two uses can be kept in reserve for Agility. Agility can be upgraded to increase the distance that Mew moves in the designated direction.
Lv. 5
Move Reset
Mew can reset all of its moves and learn new ones. Move Reset’s cooldown is reduced when Mew knocks out or makes an assist on Pokémon on the opposing team or when Mew scores a goal.
Mew’s Unite Move, Mystical Mirage
Mew floats higher, creates a field at its current location, and becomes invincible. Mew and all ally Pokémon in the area of effect enter stealth. After a set amount of time passes, Mystical Mirage deals damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect.
Metagame Watch
Mew is a powerful Ranged Attacker with the unique flexibility of having both powerful offense-focused and powerful support-focused moves. Whether Mew is using Electro Ball or Solar Beam, either move can do enough damage to knock out enemy Pokémon—and when either of these moves is paired with Light Screen or Agility, Mew can chase down just about any Pokémon in the game. Meanwhile, Coaching allows Mew to directly raise allies’ power, making it a powerful support Pokémon in addition to a strong Attacker.
Strong Against: Tyranitar
Tyranitar is one of the strongest All-Rounders in Pokémon UNITE, with decent mobility and high damage, but Mew has plenty of tools for dancing around it. Mew’s Electro Ball and Solar Beam both deal significant damage to Tyranitar from a safe distance. Mew’s Light Screen and Agility are also key in maintaining space between the two Pokémon, allowing Mew to deal damage safely. Plenty of Pokémon have a range advantage over Tyranitar, but Mew has that extra bit of mobility and utility that makes it suitable for countering the tyrant of Aeos Island.
Weak Against: Absol
Mew is strong and mobile, but it can easily be taken out of a fight by Pokémon that can quickly deal high amounts of damage. Absol’s Night Slash and Psycho Cut combo is exceptional at cutting any Attacker down to size—and Mew is no exception. Absol doesn’t lock Mew out of making an impact on the game, but it does put significant pressure on Mew to maintain safe positioning.

NEWLY DISCOVERED POKÉMON THAT PAINTS WITH POISON REVEALED FOR POKÉMON SCARLET AND POKÉMON VIOLET
BELLEVUE, Wash. — September 1, 2022 — Following a mysterious set of images revealed on the official Pokémon social channels, The Pokémon Company International has revealed details of a newly discovered Pokémon found in the Paldea region of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet: Grafaiai, the Toxic Monkey Pokémon.
Grafaiai
Grafaiai is a moody Pokémon with a fastidious disposition. It doesn’t form packs, preferring to roam alone, and it is constantly caught up in territorial struggles with other Pokémon. Grafaiai specializes in using its poisonous saliva—which changes color depending on what the Pokémon eats—to attack foes by spitting at them or by slashing at them after coating its claws with the saliva.
Grafaiai is nocturnal and once the sun sets it licks its hands and fingers to cover them in poison and uses them to draw patterns on the trees in its territory. The poisonous saliva it uses to paint paralyzes Bug Pokémon, which are drawn to the saliva’s sweet, fragrant scent.
Grafaiai will appear in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, launching November 18, 2022, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch™ system. For more information about Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, please visit Pokemon.com/ScarletViolet.
