England Footballers Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and James Ward-Prowse put their skills to the test and took on some Pokémon GO themed futsal challenges to be crowned champion! Which Pokémon will they each buddy up with to help them take the crown?

England stars combine futsal skills with AR in Pokémon GO challenge

What do Futsal and Pokémon GO have in common? They are so much more fun when you play with a friend.

That's why Pokémon tasked England Football players Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and James Ward-Prowse and football freestyler Cameron Corp to put their futsal skills to the test and bring to life Pokémon GO AR and Trainer Battles at the National Football Centre, St George's Park.

In an interactive video that highlights the England star's futsal abilities and competitive nature on and off the pitch, the players were paired with buddy Pokémon, (Charmander - Abraham), (Bulbasaur - Mount) and (Squirtle - Ward-Prowse) before taking on a series of challenges.

First up, in a test of their Pokémon GO AR skills and footwork, the players were challenged to dribble around their virtual Pokémon buddies using a sole roll, before taking an effort on goal.

This was followed by an intense series of head-to-head Pokémon GO Trainer Battles, with the victor decided by a penalty shootout inspired target challenge using the futsal ball.

It’s been one year since Pokémon Trainers first landed on Aeos Island, which means it’s time to celebrate a year of ferocious battles and fabulous goal zone Aeos energy dunks. The excitement kicks off on Thursday, July 21, 2022, with new Unite licenses, Holowear and gifts for logging in, the start of Battle Pass Season 9, and a delicious Anniversary Cake Challenge.

Three new Pokémon will boldly enter the fray, starting with Glaceon, the Fresh Snow Pokémon, on July 21, 2022. Trainers interested in harnessing Glaceon’s freezing force can take part in the Icy Glaceon Challenge running Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PDT to Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. By completing the necessary missions, players can earn Glaceon’s Unite license. Unite License and Holowear Log-In Bonus Gifts

For up to five days during the event period, players will receive a Pokémon Unite license and Holowear when they log in. If players already own the Unite license or Holowear, they will receive 100 Aeos coins instead for each Unite license and Holowear they already own.

Introducing Boss Rush
For a limited time, players can take part in Pokémon UNITE’s first PvE-style quick-battle event in which they work together with other players to defeat powerful Boss Pokémon that appear one after another. The higher a team’s score in the Boss Rush rankings, the better the rewards they’ll receive.

Players can earn Glaceon’s Unite license after completing the special mission challenge. Glaceon is an Attacker Pokémon, and its Unite Move is Glacial Stage. New Holowear will also be released at the start of the event!

Battle Pass Season 9: Band Style – Pikachu
Period: Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. PDT – Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT
Starting Thursday, July 21, 2022, players can take part in the latest battle pass season, which features Band Style: Pikachu Holowear and Songstress Style: Wigglytuff Holowear. Battle Pass Season 9 will also include special battle pass missions that reward players with Battle Pass Special Tickets. Players can exchange these tickets at the Exchange Booth for Holowear, Trainer fashion items, and other rewards from Battle Pass Season 1 and Battle Pass Season 2.[1]

Ranked Matches Season 5 Begins

Starting Thursday, July 21, the next season of ranked matches will begin. The reward for reaching Ultra rank is Tuxedo Style: Decidueye.

Invite-a-Friend Campaign

When players invite new friends to Pokémon UNITE, both they and their friends can receive rewards. The player sending the invite will receive a random box that will have Holowear tickets, energy boost tanks, or other rewards. The player who received the invite will have a chance to obtain Bonfire Style: Slowbro if they win a certain number of ranked matches after using the invitation code.[2]

Players can receive a variety of rewards by teaming up with friends or other players who haven’t logged in for over 14 days.

At the end of PM2019 117, the three movies that won the voting for the 25th Anniversary Pokémon Film Festival were announced with a special teaser video. Tiered Scout Details

Kotobukiya has revealed the final design for the ARTFX J Nate with Oshawott figure based on the illustration drawn by Hitoshi Ariga for Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. The figure is available to pre-order for 12,980 yen. Pictures of this product have been added to an Imageboard thread.

Based on an illustration drawn by Hitoshi Ariga, a well-known artist from the series, Kyohei, one of the main characters of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, has joined the lineup!

Pay attention to his eyes peeking out from under the sun visor and the dynamic pose he takes when he throws the Monster Ball! The intricate hairstyle and the grip of the hand holding the monster ball are very detailed. Mijumaru is also a reliable Pokémon, performing its Razor Shell attack above the spray of water which is reproduced with clear parts!

Trainers, Ultra Wormholes are appearing in the sky, and we’ve noticed that more of them are appearing over Berlin, Seattle, and Sapporo. This can only mean one thing: more Ultra Beasts are coming!

What are Ultra Beasts?

Ultra Beasts are mysterious Pokémon originating from Ultra Space. One such Ultra Beast, Nihilego, made its first appearance during Pokémon GO Fest, but it appears that others may soon emerge...

Pokémon GO Fest events attract Ultra Beasts

Trainers attending the following Pokémon GO Fest events can expect to encounter an Ultra Beast as a part of their Special Research.

• Berlin – Pheromosa
• Seattle – Buzzwole
• Sapporo – Xurkitree

After these Ultra Beasts debut during their respective in-person Pokémon GO Fest events, they will appear globally later in the Season of GO.

Beast Balls are coming to Pokémon GO!

Cooperation breeds innovation! After working together with you to confront Nihilego,Rhi of the GO Ultra Recon Squad has created a limited number of Beast Balls—a special kind of Poké Ball—to help in-person Pokémon GO Fest attendees catch an Ultra Beast as part of Special Research during each in-person Pokémon GO Fest event.

Different events, shared bonuses

Ticket-holding Trainers at each of the in-person Pokémon GO Fest locations will be able to enjoy the following bonuses during event hours on their ticketed day:

• 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
• Take a snapshot at the event for a surprise!
• Event-themed Field Research will be available.
• You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops and opening Gifts.
• Confetti will be appearing on the in-game map.

The following bonuses will also be available to ticket-holding Trainers at each of the in-person Pokémon GO Fest locations during event hours on their ticketed day. Trainers at the Seattle and Sapporo events will only have access to them during the park experience.

• Four additional special trades can be made during the event for a maximum of six for the day.
• Trades made during the event will require less Stardust.
• Four Collection Challenges, themed to in-park habitats

More event bonuses

For ticket-holding Trainers at the Seattle and Sapporo events, the following bonuses will be available during the city experience. Ticket-holding Trainers at the Berlin event will have access to these bonuses for the duration of the event.

• Claim up to nine total daily Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
• Team GO Rocket balloons will be appearing more often, and defeating Team GO Rocket Grunts will earn you twice as many Mysterious Components.

Look out for these Pokémon at Pokémon GO Fest!

Ultra Beasts aren’t the only exciting Pokémon appearing during our in-person celebrations.

• Cowboy Hat Snorlax will be appearing in the wild. Yeehaw!
• Unown A, B, E, L, R, S, T, and U will be appearing in the wild. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter a shiny one!
