Ash's Totodile - {{Char=Ash}} selected his Totodile to race at the Alto Mare Summer Festa where water Pokémon pull their trainer down the canals of the city. It's main competitor was {{Char=M-Corsola}} who was neck and neck against it for a lot of the race. It made too fast of a sharp turn which knocked off {{Char=Ash}} but {{Char=Alto_Mare_Latias}} picked the two of them off and raced them towards the finish line. They quickly passed {{Char=Misty}} but {{Char=Alto_Mare_Latios}} showed up and took all of them off course just before {{Char=Ash}} was about to win.

Misty's Corsola - {{Char=Misty}} selected her Corsola to race at the Alto Mare Summer Festa where water Pokémon pull their trainer down the canals of the city. {{Char=M-Corsola}}'s main competitor was {{Char=A-Totodile}} who was neck and neck against it for a lot of the race. {{Char=A-Totodile}} quickly passed {{Char=Misty}} and her Corsola near the end of the race but {{Char=Alto_Mare_Latios}} showed up and took all of them off course just before {{Char=Ash}} was about to win. {{Char=M-Corsola}} ended up winning the race after a photo finish showed that it had beat last year's winner {{Char=Rossi}} because of its horns.

Ross - Rossi - {{Char=Rossi}} was the previous years winner of the Alto Mare Summer Festa race. He raced with his Wailmer and ended up being neck and neck with {{Char=Ash}} and {{Char=Misty}} for most of the race but ended up coming second to {{Char=Misty}} and was unable to defend his title. He wasn't too disappointed and he offered to give {{Char=Misty}} and her friends a ride in his gondola. He told them about the legend of Latios and Latias and how they protected the city and then dropped them off at a crêpe shop.

Zanner (Zanner) - {{Char=Zanner}} is very famous in the thieving business as she works with her partner and sister {{Char=Lions}} to steal valuable objects. She is very concerned about her looks as she is always touching up her hair and makeup whenever she can. Unlike her sister, she is more acustom to wearing designer clothes and wondering what kinds of clothes others are wearing.

When she was in kindergarten, she evolved her sister's Kusaihana into a Ruffresia without asking her. She wanted to evolve it into a Kireihana and she has yet to forgive her sister for that.

{{Char=Zanner}} and {{Char=Lion}} were arrested by {{Char=Jenny}} and sent to a maximum security prison where they would carry out their sentences.

Zanner's Eifie - After {{Char=Zanner}} and {{Char=Lions}} had identified Latias, {{Char=Zanner_Eifie}} was sent out to try to stop Latias, who was disguised as {{Char=Kanon}}, from getting away. After {{Char=Ash}} apparently insulted {{Char=Zanner}} for not addressing her properly, {{Char=Zanner_Eifie}} used on {{Char=Ash}} as payback. {{Char=Zanner_Eifie}} lost sight of Latias after {{Char=Ash}} helped her escape by running through the city. It later attacked {{Char=Vongole}} while he was in his workshop working on a gondola.

Lion's Ariados - After {{Char=Zanner}} and {{Char=Lions}} had identified Latias, {{Char=Lion_Ariados}} was sent out to try to stop Latias, who was disguised as {{Char=Kanon}}, from getting away. It used String Shot to tie Latias up after it blocked her on the bridge from getting away. {{Char=Lion_Ariados}} lost sight of Latias after {{Char=Ash}} helped her escape by running through the city.

Kanon - {{Char=Kanon}} is {{Char=Vongole}}'s granddaughter and the two of them live together in Alto Mare. While {{Char=Vongole}} was giving {{Char=Ash}} and his friends a tour of the temple, {{Char=Ash}} saw {{Char=Kanon}} there and quickly chased after her as she left the temple thinking she was the same girl he encountered earlier in the day but at the time he didn't know that Latias was able to transform into human form.

When {{Char=Ash}} followed Latias into the Secret Garden, {{Char=Kanon}}'s initial reaction what that she thought he was there to get Latios who was attacking him at the time. It wasn't until her grandfather corrected her initial mistake that she apologized to {{Char=Ash}}.

{{Char=Kanon}} got captured by {{Char=Zanner}} and {{Char=Lions}} while they were attempting to stop them from using the machine in the temple tower. {{Char=Ash}} and his friends came to her rescue. She was grateful to them for saving her, her grandfather and Latios.

With the events that had transpired in Alto Mare over, {{Char=Ash}} and his friends left but he ended up getting a picture and a kiss from a person that looked like {{Char=Kanon}} but he wasn't sure if it was really her or Latias.

Vongole - {{Char=Vongole}} is {{Char=Kanon}}'s grandpa. For many generations {{Char=Vongole}}'s family has protected the secret garden on the island of Alto Mare as a sanctuary for Latias and Latios when they come to visit the island. {{Char=Vongole}} is very familar with the legends and the history of Alto Mare. He also has his own workshop where he works on fixing gondolas.

{{Char=Ash}} and his friends first met {{Char=Vongole}} at the temple as he was giving them a tour of it. {{Char=Vongole}} works at the temple as a guide on his spare time. He later came to {{Char=Ash}} defense as he recognized that Latias just wanted to play with {{Char=Ash}}.

Latias - Latias is a descendant of the famous Latios and Latias that saved the city of Alto Mare from a great evil. It spends most of its time in the Secret Garden so that it isn't seen by the residents of the city, though it often ventures out into the city by making itself invisible or transforming into a girl that looks like {{Char=Kanon}}. Latias is a very curious Pokémon and her older brother Latios is always looking out for her.
