Pokemon Snap is coming to Wii Virtual Console in Japan on December 4th for 1000 Wii Points. Unlike most Virtual Console games that are emulated images of the original game, Pokemon Snap has some added some newfeatures. In the Wii Virtual Console version of Pokemon Snap, after taking pictures, you can save them onto your Wii Message board and you can also send them to your friends.

Pokemon Snap has also been announced for North America. It will be released a few days after the Japanese launch on December 10th, 2007.Hopefully we will see more Pokemon games on Wii Virtual Console in the near future as well.

Pokemon Snap is a non-traditional Pokemon game for the Nintendo 64 and now for the Nintendo Wii. In Pokemon Snap, the famous Pokemon Researcher, Professor Oak, is researching Pokemon on Pokemon Island, and invites Todd, a talented young photographer, to assist in his research. The only current inhabitants of Pokemon Island are wild Pokemon, making it the perfect place to study Pokemon in their natural habitat. Whereas a trainer may not be able to resist catching the wild Pokemon of the island, Todd's photography skills may equally aid in the Professor's research to complete his Pokemon Report.

Beadull Knows! is the 57th episode of Diamond & Pearl. It first aired in Japan on November 29th, 2007 as part of a one-hour special alongside DP056.

Before an under-construction stone bridge, Satoshi and his friends meet the Breeder Ishisu, who is having a quarrel with the designer of the bridge. They are having sort of a headache because the "employee"-- Beadull, who is supposed to do the quarrying, now doesn't work. Satoshi and friends offer to help with the quarrying work.

{nl}Since 2001, a Pikachu balloon has been flown in the parade, demonstrating the popularity of Pokemon. The original Pikachu balloon was used from 2001 until 2005. Last year a Pikachu with Poke Ball balloon was introduced and the same balloon was used in the parade this year.{nl}

Parading Around

{nl}Usually there's a chill in the air, but last Thursday the signs of winter were nowhere to be found as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade made its annual trip in New York City down the storied canyons of Boradway! The streets were lined with happy spectators and we were there too, to cheer on the Pikachu balloon as it made its way from the Upper West Side of Manhattan down to Macy's on 34th Street.{nl}

{nl}With a beautiful blue sky and temperatures in the high 50's, everyone was in good spirits, from the Broadway performers who danced in Heralds Square, to the clowns that waved to the crowds, to the balloon handlers that carried Pikachu and other characters through the air. The clear weather offered excellent views of all the balloons, and Pikachu certainly looked fantastic as it made its way past skyscrapers and trees, whether you were watching on television or in person. For those who may have missed it, we tooks lots of pictures for you to enjoy, and we hope to see you next year!{nl}

The Photoshop of the Week contest is simple. Download this weeks picture and modify it in a funny, interesting, or bizarre way. You can use any photo editing software program you want. Post your picture as a new thread in the 'Photoshop of the Week' section on the Imageboard. Thanks for participating and we hope you enjoy this weeks Photoshop Challenge.

This week's Photoshop is of Professor Oak. He is currently afraid that he is going to be sprayed by Stunky. What is really Professor Oak afraid of?

The Photoshop of the Week contests will now last 2 weeks instead of one. This will give more people time to think of an edit and allow staff more setup time each week. Please continue to submit Photoshop pictures in the Photoshop Suggestions section. Make sure they are at least 640x480 in size.

Week 21 - Thursday November 22nd, 2007 to Thursday December 6th, 2007.

Good Luck! We are all looking forward to your Photoshops.

We have also added a Request board to the Imageboard. All image requests must be made in the request section. Request answers are to be posted in the appropriate section, not the request board. When you fill an image request, post a link to the image thread in the request section. Be sure to enter a subject and a description of the image you want before you post. All other Imageboard rules also apply to this section.

Image requests do not have to be anime related. Picture requests can be from any sections of the Imageboard. You can view the Request board by clicking here.
