Information about this years Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has been announced. Once again Pikachu will be a featured balloon. 'Pikachu w/ Poke-ball' giant balloon will parade through downtown New York City. Since 2001, a Pikachu balloon has been flown in the parade, demonstrating the popularity of Pokemon. The original Pikachu balloon was used from 2001 until 2005. Last year a Pikachu with Poke Ball balloon was introduced and this should be the same balloon used in the parade this year.

If you are in New York City, this will be a great time for you, your family and friends to see Pikachu larger than life. If you cannot see it in person, NBC will be broadcasting the parade from 9AM to Noon on November 22nd, 2007.

Earlier today, Nintendo made excellent use of its recent press conference in Japan to announced details about its WiiWare service, which will allow users to download games similar to Xbox Live Arcade.

Click Here to view Imageboard Thread

Pokemon Ranch Channel, Pokemon Bokujou Channel in Japan is a small game based on a Ranch to help with the raising of your Pocket Monsters. "Pokemon Ranch Channel" is the temporary title and is subject to change. Wii owners will be able to hook up their copy of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl and upload their favourite Pokemon to raise on the Ranch. Mii characters can also accompany your Pokemon, as well as pet them. Snapshots of your Mii with a Pokemon can be taken and sent to friends.

The game seems similar to the Pokemon Daycare center, but interactive and in full 3D on the Wii. More information will become available in the next few months before it is launched.

Movie 11 Production Team begins location hunting

The Official Pokemon Movie website has been updated. Most Movie 10 material has been removed and has now been replaced with a teaser trailer for movie 11 and some location hunting photos from the production team. It would seem that the Scandinavian countries are going to be the location that Movie 11 was based on. Last year the team visited parts of Spain.

The picture location hunting team left Japan which was still quite hot, and started on their journey north. The flight time to Denmark was only ten hours considering how far it is from Japan. It is almost a straight line north of Japan by flying over the arctic. The team arrived in Copenhagen, Denmark at night where they would then travel to Bergen, Norway.

Location hunting team arrives at city of Bergen later that night. Because they arrived at night, it wasn't until the morning that they had a sense that they were visiting foreign countries. However, it was unfortunate because it was raining outside. There was wind too and it seemed to be very cold.

The team did not stay long in Bergen and shortly left to the destination which Yuyama was heading for. They left early in the morning and went to the town of Voss in Norway. The cold and trees made the air feel refreshingly. They then took a train to a small but beautiful port of Flam in Norway.
