ニュースでドラゴンポケモン“カイリュー”に助けられた人のインタビューを見たサトシとゴウは、カイリューに興味津々！サクラギ博士から「カイリューだけが暮らす島があるらしい」という噂を聞き、早速その島を探しに行くことに。ゴウが新しく捕まえたポケモン“ジュゴン”に乗って海を進むサトシたち。しかし途中で、突然の嵐にあってしまう。波にさらわれ、ある島に流れ着いた2人の目の前に現れたのは…Japanese Summary Translation:

Scene Cut
The originally aired English dub episode aired on June 12th, 2021, around the time that the George Floyd protest in Grand Army Plaza took place. The original lines said by both Ash and Professor Cerise were replaced in reairings of the episode because they quoted the "I can't breathe" slogan associate with the Black Lives Matter movement in the United States.
