The official Japanese Pokémon website announced that there will be Kiteruguma themed events and presents distributed as part of the Sparkling Spring Festival Campaign (ピカピカ春祭りキャンペーン) from April 15th, 2017 to May 7th, 2017 at the participating Pokémon Centers and Stores in Japan. As part of the campaign, there will be a Kiteruguma Event Pokémon Distribution, a Kiteruguma Promo Card Present, Kiteruguma will visit the Pokémon Centers and Stores across the nation and there will be a battle event for the games as well. Pokémon Eggs were previously distributed as part of the Sparkling Spring Festival Campaign 2017.

Kiteruguma Event Pokémon Distribution

From April 15th, 2017 to May 7th, 2017, players of Pokémon Sun and Moon will be able to receive a Kiteruguma. Full details have yet to be revealed.

Kiteruguma Promo TCG Card

From Saturday, April 15th, 2017, Pokémon Center and Pokémon Stores across Japan will be giving out the Kiteruguma 058/SM-P card as a gift at the cash register for customers visiting any participating location while supplies last. 1 promotional card per person will be given out but people can also receive the promo card on orders from the Pokémon Center Online. Details of this Kiteruguma promo card have been added to our TCG dex.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced the Kapu-Kokeko Campaign (カプ・コケコキャンペーン) will be held starting on March 17th, 2017 in Japan. Kapu-Kokeko related products and promo presents will be available throughout the campaign. Kapu-Kokeko is a Pokémon that appears in the Nintendo 3DS games Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon as well as the TV anime series. It is known as the Guardian deity of Melemele Island.

Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko Event Pokémon Distribution

From March 17th, 2017 until April 9th, 2017, players of Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon will be able to obtain a serial code to get an Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko. Kapu-Kokeko normally has a yellow appearance but this special Black Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko cannot be obtained in regular gameplay. The serial code can be used from March 17th, 2017 until May 31st, 2017.

How to Obtain the Serial Code for Kapu-Kokeko

If a player purchases a copy of Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon or shows the title screen on their Nintendo 3DS at a participating shop, they will receive a paper with a serial code written on it. The following shops are offering the serial code at participating locations: Apita·Piago, Aeon·Aeon Supercenter·Aeon Style·Aeon retail stores, Ito Yokado, EDION, GEO, Joshin Denki, TSUTAYA, Toys R Us, Nojima, Bic Camera, Fuji, Tay Two, Heiwado, Yamada Denki, Yodobashi Camera , WonderGOO, Pokémon Centers·Pokémon Stores, Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Books and some 7-Eleven.

Players can also obtain the code digitally from a Nintendo Zone via the 7-Eleven DS via 7-Spot. Those wishing to obtain the code from 7-Eleven must bring their Nintendo 3DS to a participating DS via 7-Spot and obtain the code through the app by opening the campaign page and then touching the "Get the Serial code (シリアルコードをゲット!)" button. Write down the serial code on a piece of paper before proceeding to a different screen.

GET Pokémon Card Game Sun and Moon 5 Pack Campaign!

Starting on Friday, March 17th, 2017, when players buy 5 booster packs for the Pokémon Card Game, players can receive a promotinal card pack with at least 11 cards including: 9 energy cards, a Black Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko card and a Salandit card.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced the full details for Pikachu's Easter - Sparkling Spring Festival Campaign (ピカピカ春祭りキャンペーン) which will take place from March 18th, 2017 until April 9th, 2017 at the Pokémon Centers and Stores in Japan. As part of the campaign, new cute spring themed goods will be released and there will be battle events for the games as well.

From Saturday, April 1st, 2017, those that purchase a Pokémon Card Game Expansion Pack, a Reinforcement Expansion Pack or 5 of more booster packs can receive 1 Pikachu's Easter Pokémon Egg promo card at random as a present. The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced a tie-in Event Pokémon Distribution with an advertising campaign for Pokémon Sun and Moon with Olympic Gold Medalist Saori Yoshida (吉田 沙保里) that began in late January 2017. Saori is a highly decorated Japanese freestyle wrestler and the commercials for the games feature Saori and Kairiky.

Saori's Kairiky (サオリのカイリキー) will be distributed at participating 7-Eleven, Tsutaya, Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores from February 8th, 2017 until February 28th, 2017.

Kairiky's are characterized for having high attack power and are a Pokémon which can be used for a big battle. Normally, Kairiky is a rare Pokémon that can not be obtained unless it evolves through a trade with other players! Saori's Kairiky knows a lot of moves that Saori Yoshida likes.

As part of the opening festivities for the Pokémon Center Sapporo, an Alolan Rokon was distributed as a present to visitors of the Pokémon Center with Pokémon Sun or Moon from December 1st, 2016 until January 31st, 2017. That Alolan Rokon will now be distributed at all the Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores nationwide in Japan from February 1st, 2017 until March 12th, 2017.

The official Japanese Pokémon website announced a massive Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store event that takes place through October and November 2016. The Pokémon Center Occupation Plan (ポケモンセンター占拠計画) features the 6 major gangs: Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Ginga, Plasma and Flare from the Pokémon franchise taking over. The campaign features event Pokémon distributions, themed merchandise and cosplay events featuring all these gangs.

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - Bosses' Pokémon Event Distribution

Each week, for 6 weeks from October 1st, 2016 until November 11th, 2016, one of the enemy organizations will occupy each Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store and a event Pokémon present will be distributed. The Pokémon distributed is one of occupying Sinister Organisation's Bosses' Pokémon. Each week, the enemy organization occupying the Pokémon Center and Pokémon Store changes to a different gang, so patrons need to check the schedule. Players of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are eligible to receive these

There are 6 different distribution weeks, so everyone should be able to get all 6 Boss Pokémon at their local Pokémon Center or Pokémon Store during time or visit other locations to get them ahead of time.

On October 7th, 2016, it was announced that due to popular demand, the event present distribution would be extended to November 12th and 13th, 2016 and on each of those days, all 6 Pokémon would be available at different times of the day at all the participating locations.

Staff at the Pokémon Centers from October 8th to October 10th, 2016 will be cosplaying the boss of the gang occupying that location as well as wearing T-shirts of that enemy organization. The boss cosplay by staff will not occur at Pokémon Store locations.

Baokkie placed 720th in the recent Pokémon Elections 720 results. In an attempt to increase its popularity and its disappointing election results, Baokkie will be distributed to players of X, Y, Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire at all the Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores in Japan from Saturday June 25th, 2016 until Friday July 15th, 2016 via infrared communication from the shops staff. A Baokkie PR Business Card will also be given away as a present at the Pokémon Centers locations.

"Transform! Metamon" series

Starting on May 7th, 2016, the second installment of the popular "Transform! Metamon" series will appear in Pokémon Center stores. Plushies featuring Metamon that has Transformed into another Pokémon will be available for purchase for 1200yen each. They will also be available at the Pokémon Store at Amazon.co.jp starting on May 14th, 2016 but there will be a limited supply.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that on July 6th, 2016, the Pokémon Center Skytree Town (ポケモンセンタースカイツリータウント) will open at the TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN located at the base of the Tokyo Solamachi. It will be the 11th operating Pokémon Center to open in Japan.

TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN is a large shopping and entertainment facility packed with features. Here you'll find TOKYO SKYTREE®, Tokyo Solamachi, the shopping area with over 300 shops and restaurants, an aquarium, planetarium, and museum.

The mascots for the location will be Pikachu and Rayquaza. The Pokémon Center Skytree Town will stock all the normal goods and merchandise that other the Pokémon Center and Pokémon Stores carry. Further details about opening festivities will be announced closer to the opening date.
