INTRODUCING THE DIAMOND AND PEARL CLANS OF THE POKÉMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS GAME

A New Trailer for the Highly Anticipated Game Launches Today

The Hisui Region’s Two Clans: The Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan In addition to being home to the Galaxy Expedition Team, two other groups reside in the Hisui region: the Diamond Clan and the Pearl Clan.

The people of the Diamond Clan often speak of the importance of cherishing the present and living in the moment with one’s allies. On the other hand, members of the Pearl Clan frequently advocate the importance of valuing the vast, spacious land shared with others.

Although the Diamond Clan and Pearl Clan disagree on many of their beliefs, they seem to nevertheless share many similarities. Both clans don clothing designed to resemble certain Pokémon, and both pay respects to special Pokémon they call lords and ladies—or collectively, noble Pokémon. Moreover, both clans have wardens who serve these special Pokémon.

The Young Leaders in Charge of the Diamond and Pearl Clans

Image

Adaman
Adaman serves as the leader of the Diamond Clan and has Leafeon as his partner Pokémon. This daring young man hates to see time go to waste and likes to rush forward without worrying too much about particulars.

Image

Irida
Irida serves as the leader of the Pearl Clan, and her partner Pokémon is Glaceon. As a leader, she feels it is important to have the courage to face the vast Hisui region. Though she is suspicious when first meeting people, she will slowly come to trust the player thanks to the help they provide in quelling the noble Pokémon.

Introducing the Ginkgo Guild Merchants
A group of merchants known as the Ginkgo Guild also operates in the Hisui region. Not native to Hisui, members of the Ginkgo Guild travel around the various locations of the region, selling the wares they have gathered.

Add the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai to Your Team in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Players with play records from the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl games will be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that will lead to an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai. They will also be able to claim the Modern Team Galactic Set.[2]

It’s said this Pokémon is active during nights of the new moon and that it can lull people to sleep and make them have nightmares.

[2] The Modern Team Galactic Set includes the Modern Jacket, Modern Trousers, and Modern Shoes. Players will be able to claim these bonuses in Pokémon Legends: Arceus if they launch the game as a user with play records from Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl. The request that allows players to encounter Darkrai will be available to accept in Jubilife Village after viewing the game’s end credits. Players can claim the Modern Team Galactic Set outfit by speaking to the clothier after joining the Galaxy Expedition Team. INTRODUCING THE HISUIAN FORM OF VOLTORB IN THE POKÉMON LEGENDS: ARCEUS GAME

BELLEVUE, WA—December 10, 2021—The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo introduced a newly discovered Pokémon, the Hisuian form of Voltorb, in an all-new trailer on the official Pokémon YouTube channel today.

Hisuian Voltorb

A Striking Resemblance to Poké Balls in Hisui
This enigmatic Pokémon has a glossy, spherical body. With the wood-grain-like makeup of its body's surface and the hole on the top of its head, it looks very similar to the Poké Balls of the Hisui region. There seem to be countless seeds packed inside Hisuian Voltorb. Occasionally, it spouts these seeds out of the hole in its head. However, no one knows exactly what it’s like inside the Pokémon’s body, because inside the hole, it’s pitch-dark.

Image

Category: Sphere Pokémon
Type: Electric/Grass
Height: 1'8" (0.5 m)
Weight: 28.7 lbs. (13 kg)

Instant Electrical Discharges
This Pokémon is always in high spirits and has a friendly personality. However, it can discharge stored electricity all at once and it frequently shocks humans and Pokémon in its vicinity. Even the slightest provocation can set this Pokémon off, so in human settlements, Hisuian Voltorb is considered a nuisance. Tales of people temporarily plugging the hole on Hisuian Voltorb’s head and kicking it out of settlements are not entirely uncommon.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus  will be released on Friday, January 28, 2022. It is currently available for  preorder.
The official Pokémon UNITE website has announced a holiday event which will take place from December 15th, 2021, to January 16th, 2022. High resolution pictures and artwork from the press release have been added to an Imageboard thread. Full details of the event are listed below.

Image

Pokémon UNITE’s Holiday Festivities Will Be Snow Much Fun

Pokémon UNITE is embracing the merriment of the season with holiday festivities running from December 15, 2021, to January 16, 2022. Players can get special log-in gifts such as reward boxes containing limited licenses and Trainer fashion items, earn special event rewards with the Illumination Challenge and Photo Challenge, and add two new Unite licenses to their collection as Tsareena and Dragonite enter the fray. And by taking part in Snowball Battle in Shivre City, players can watch as their Pokémon are transformed into snowmen during battle. Finally, from January 1 to January 3, 2022, the Unite licenses for all Pokémon will temporarily be made available to all players at no cost, allowing Trainers to use any Pokémon in any battle except ranked matches.

New Unite Licenses

Put your best foot forward during the festivities with two new Unite licenses. From December 9 to December 31, 2021, the Unite license for Tsareena will be available at no cost. Tsareena is a Melee All-Rounder that is ready to reign over the competition with moves like Triple Axel, Trop Kick, and Queen Ascendant.

On December 20, 2021, the Unite license for Dragonite will be available. With powerful moves like Dragon Breath, Outrage, and Draco Impact, this Melee All-Rounder harnesses its impressive heft and draconic might to dole out maximum damage. New Challenges

Take on exciting new challenges with the Illumination Challenge running from December 15, 2021, to January 16, 2022, and the Photo Challenge running from December 24, 2021, to January 6, 2022.

Participate in the Illumination Challenge by selecting the holiday tree in the lobby to compete in daily missions and challenge missions. By completing these missions, players can collect lights to light up the holiday tree and earn fun rewards—including a Trainer snapshot frame and background, a 1-day limited license, Trainer fashion items, and more.

The Photo Challenge doesn’t run the full length of the festivities, but it still serves up plenty of fun. Players can participate in standard battles, quick battles, ranked matches, and Snowball Battle in Shivre City to collect snowflakes. These snowflakes are then used to reveal parts of a photo that are hidden by a silhouette. Collect lots of snowflakes to complete the photo and earn rewards!

New Quick Battle Map

Ice out opponents on the new 4-on-4 quick battle map, Snowball Battle in Shivre City. On this map, opposing Pokémon that are knocked out will become snowmen for a limited time. Pokémon that are turned into snowmen will not be able to move, but they can visually assist their teammates. While a Pokémon is a snowman, its basic attack will instead cause it to jump into the air, and its moves will do different poses, such as cheering, waving, and giving a thumbs-up. When a Pokémon’s snowman form ends, it’ll leap free of the snow and return to battle.

During Snowball Battle in Shivre City, players can defeat wild Delibird to receive a gift box containing a random one-time battle item that replaces their current battle item. Additionally, the wild Avalugg that normally appears in the central area will be replaced with Articuno.

Special Log-In Gifts

Enjoy special themed rewards and prize boxes by logging in daily from December 24, 2021, until January 1, 2022. From December 25 to December 28, 2021, a prize box will be available from which players can choose to receive Aeos coins, Holowear tickets, Aeos tickets, or item enhancers. From December 29 to December 31, 2021, a prize box will be available that contains a 7-day limited license for one of six Pokémon of the player’s choosing. Finally, a New Year’s prize box will be available only on January 1, 2022, and it will offer players the opportunity to select from one of four exclusive Trainer fashion items!

Finally, be sure to check out the in-game shop for discounted items and cool seasonal Holowear for Pikachu and other Pokémon!

Happy holidays!

  • Poké Ball Chuck Taylor All Star: The original basketball sneaker is reimagined with a full cast of Pokémon personalities. Designed for adults and youth looking to represent an array of favorites, the Chuck Taylor All Star features an all-over pattern of Pokémon printed against a white canvas upper. On the silhouette’s lateral, a domed, squeezable Poké Ball adds tactile dimension to the silhouette, creating a playful element to the sneaker. The Poké Ball carries to a custom license plate, featuring the motif at the heel.
  • Easy-On Chuck Taylor All Star Ox (Infant): Designed for the tiniest Pokémon fans, the Easy-On Chuck Taylor All Star feature two of the franchise’s most recognizable Pokémon: Pikachu and Jigglypuff. Pikachu appears on a vibrant yellow canvas upper with one strap over the elastic laces. Pikachu’s likeness is printed on a yellow leather toe cap as well, with ears popping out from the front and a lightning bolt tail at the heel, alluding to the character’s electrical abilities. A second Chuck Taylor is designed for even smaller fans, featuring two straps for optimal adjustability. • Pokémon Team and Pikachu T-Shirts: Long and short sleeve t-shirts highlight Pokémon favorites through graphic prints and 25th celebration branding. The short sleeve t-shirt is a classic crew neck centered on Pikachu, incorporating its tail as part of the Converse’s star chevron logo. A set of long-sleeve t-shirts in black and red highlight the Pokémon team with a graphic at the front and collaborative wordmarks on the sleeves.
  • Camp Cap and Go 2 Backpack: Rounding out the collection in utility and style are two Pikachu-inspired accessories. The first, a retro-style camp cap features a Pikachu graphic on the front and “electrified” Converse wordmark on the back, nodding to Pikachu’s Electric-type Moves. A Go 2 Backpack is designed to carry the essentials and also pays homage to Pikachu’s powers with an all-over lightning graphic.

As part of Converse By You, a digital customization experience also enables Trainers to craft their own unique Pokémon Converse on the Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70.

  • The Chuck 70 high top blends iconic style with the electric power of Pikachu. Premium leather and canvas craftsmanship is paired with a reflective Pikachu print and discovery details – including a mash-up Poké Ball and Chuck Taylor logo ankle patch.
