最近サクラギ研究所では物が壊れたり部屋が荒らされたりと、不思議な現象が起こっていた。その犯人はなんと、以前研究所に現れてサトシとゴウがゲットしそこねたシャドーポケモン“ゲンガー”！「今度こそゲットのチャンス！」と燃えるサトシとゴウだが、なにやらサトシの様子がおかしい。階段から落ちそうになったり、間違えて花瓶の水を飲みそうになったり…もしかして、ゲンガーの呪いなのか！？Japanese Summary Translation:

After Story
Every dub, including Korean and Thai, removed the Iwark house bubble. In the Japanese original, Satoshi mistakes haunted house (いわくつき) as an Iwark house (イワークつき) as Iwark is a homophone.
The English dub changes the Pokémon to Haunter and instead of it being a homophone issue for Satoshi, they make it a hearing issue for Ash.
