Mysterious phenomena have been occurring recently at the Sakuragi Laboratories, like items being broken and rooms being ransacked. And believe it or not, the culprit turns out to be the very same Shadow Pokémon "Gangar" that has appeared there before, and which Satoshi and Go failed to get. Satoshi and Go's eyes blaze with enthusiasm as they claim they'll definitely take the chance to get it THIS time, but for some reason Satoshi suddenly starts acting weird... not only does he almost fall down the stairs, he also nearly ends up drinking the water from a flower vase by accident. Paint Edit

Every dub, including Korean and Thai, removed the Iwark house bubble. In the Japanese original, Satoshi mistakes haunted house (いわくつき) as an Iwark house (イワークつき) as iwark is a homophone.

The English dub changes the Pokémon to Haunter and instead of it being a homophone issue for Satoshi, they make it a hearing issue for Ash.

Character English Translation Japanese
Satoshi Haunter's house? Iwark house? イワークつき?
Go Haunted house. Haunted house. いわくつき。

16:57

Paint Edit

The dubs removed the Japanese text and banners that say: Beckon Pokémon (てまねき ポケモン) and Samayouru (サマヨール).
