Pokémon Anime Trivia:
Gardie (Hisui Form): The Pokémon that accompanied Sazare in episode 71 was a Gardie in the Region Form from the Hisui region. The Hisui region is the former name of the Sinnoh region. Basagiri, one of the Six Hero Pokémon, is also a Pokémon from the Hisui region, maybe there's some kind of connection here...?

Friday is Pokémon Anime Day! After an encounter with wild Pokémon, Liko, Roy, Friede and the Sazare/Dot duo spilt up, each of them working hard to search for clues towards Basagiri's whereabouts separately.

On November 8th, 2024, the official Japanese AniPoke Twitter account reminded that this episode was available to watch on the official Japanese YouTube channel. The video was region locked to Japan only. It was available from November 8th, 2024 to November 15th, 2024. This episode was specifically labeled as a missed-program webcast (見逃し配信).

The episode was also available on the TV Tokyo YouTube channel and the Official Corocoro Channel and were labeled as limited-time delivery (期間限定配信). The TV Tokyo version included the series trailer at the end of the episode where as the Corocoro version had beginning and ending bumpers promoting Corocoro.

Anipoke is just around the corner! Surely it's somewhere in these mountains......?! Searching for the Six Heroes Basagiri!!

Broadcasting every week from 6:55 pm! The anime "Pocket Monsters" will start airing soon! In this article, we'll introduce you to the Pokémon and characters that will appear in today's episode, as well as comments from the voice actors and director, and other information you won't find anywhere else!


Last time, Dot met the traveling photographer Sazare in Suiryoku Town. She's originally from the Sinnoh region, and one of the photos she took was undoubtedly a picture of a Basagiri! Liko and her friends immediately head to Mount Tengu, where Sazare took the photo! ...Are they be climbing a mountain again!?

However, the only clue was a single photograph. Sazare seemed to be in the forest when she found it, but not only did he not remember where she had taken the picture, but her memories of the moment were a blur like she was dreaming.

While searching for Basagiri, Liko and her friends are attacked by a wild Pokémon, and they are all separated. In the midst of all this, Liko finds something interesting. It's marks scratched into a tree in the forest that looks as if it has been cut by something large! Was it done by Basagiri......!? Can Liko and her friends find Basagiri!?

そして、バサギリを捜索中に野生のポケモンに襲われたリコたちは、全員離ればなれになってしまう。そんな中、リコが見つけたもの。それは森の木に刻まれた、大きな何かで切りつけたような痕跡！これはやはりバサギリの……!?　果たしてリコたちはバサギリを見つけることができるのか!?

Here are the two photos Dot and Sazare took of each other in the Land of Kitakami. Dot and Welkamo aren't used to being photographed, which led to Sazare getting a very novel photo of them.
