Liko is showing Dot a photo of Mighty G, while Roy and Achigator are trying out his pose! This December the Pokémon anime will be making a deep dive into Randou's secrets... or will it?

The Pokémon anime episode airing Friday December 6th is... episode 76, "Sohnano? Sohdayo!" Friede suggests Liko and the others meet with someone named Sohdayo, who can help them locate the Entei from the Six Heroes. They'll be meeting at a savannah... Soh is that going to actually be safe?

The official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account posted magazine covers for Occulture on December 5th, 2024.

Sohdayo, the new character who'll appear in episode 76 of the Pokémon anime, introduces himself as a "truthful Pokémon journalist" who writes articles for the long-running B-grade occultism magazine "Occulture", so we'll present the covers to some earlier issues of this magazine that Dot happens to be a fan of as well. Maybe he'll end up writing an article about Liko and the others too?! You never know.

On December 6th, 2024, the official Japanese AniPoke Twitter account reminded that this episode was available to watch on the official Japanese YouTube channel. The video was NOT region locked. It was available from December 6th, 2024 to December 13th, 2024. This episode was specifically labeled as a missed-program webcast (見逃し配信).

The episode was also available on the TV Tokyo YouTube channel and the Official Corocoro Channel and were labeled as limited-time delivery (期間限定配信). The TV Tokyo version included the series trailer at the end of the episode where as the Corocoro version had beginning and ending bumpers promoting Corocoro.

Anipoke is just around the corner! A mysterious person who may know Entei's whereabouts appears!? Sohnano? Sohdayo!

Broadcasting every week from 6:55 pm! The anime "Pocket Monsters" will start airing soon! In this article, we'll introduce you to the Pokémon and characters that will appear in today's episode, as well as comments from the voice actors and director, and other information you won't find anywhere else!


The Rising Volt Tackers visit the savanna to find the whereabouts of Entei, one of the Six Heroes Pokémon. It seems that Freide plans to meet with an informant called Sohdayo in the savanna. Freide says that he might know where Entei is.

Liko and her friends immediately land on the savanna, but are suddenly attacked by Rikikirin!

▲ For some reason, Rikikirin seems angry as it chases after them, and they end up in a battle!!
Liko and her friendsfend off the Rikikirin. Then suddenly, a mysterious person who had been watching them appears. This man with Sohnano was Sohdayo, the person that Friede had mentioned! Moreover, Sohdayo was once a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers! He seems to be a cheerful and easy-going person who calls himself a "truthful Pokémon journalist" but...... the more important thing is, where is Entei!?

▲ Sohdayo's partner, Sohnano, joins in on Sohdayo's stories, which may or may not be true.

Liko and her friends immediately try to ask Sohdayo where Entei is, but something strange happens on the savanna...!? Rikikirin, who attacked Liko and her friends, appears again, and an unexpected situation occurs!!

The official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account announced on December 9th, 2024 that there were credit errors in episode 76.

An apology and correction:
An error was made in the credits for episode 76, "Sohnano? Sohdayo", which aired Friday December 6th. Here, Yuna Ogata was credited for the role of Sohnano, as well as for the role of Kirinriki in Professor Friede's Pokémon Seminar. These roles were actually played by Haruka Shamoto. We apologize for the error.
