The official Pokémon website has launched a new design. The site now features 6 main areas which include: Explore Pokémon, Watch Pokémon TV, Play Games, Trading Card Game, Video Games and Attend Events.

The new Pokémon Trainer Club features an an all-new Trainer Builder. Members can get new clothing and accessories for their Trainer avatar to give it great look. New features are going to be added in the future.

The Pokémon Company International and Hulu have announced that the Pokémon Anime is now available to watch on the streaming service. Hulu is available to residents of United States and they can now watch the first 5 episodes of Diamond and Pearl for free. The first 2 episodes of Pokémon the Series: XY will be available to watch for free soon.


For subscribers of the United States version of Hulu Plus, the entire Diamond and Pearl is available with Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension, Pokémon: DP Galactic Battles and Pokémon: DP Sinnoh League Victors becoming available soon. Pokémon Origins, the 10th movie Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai as well as the 11th, 12th and 13th movies will also be available soon. Hulu Plus costs $7.99 USD a month.

The Latin American Spanish version of the show will also be available on Hulu in the future.

The official Daisuke website announced that his 8th single release Do Re Mi (ドレミ) will be released on CD in Japan on February 26th, 2014 for 1200yen. The CD includes Summery Slope Acoustic ver (夏めく坂道 アコースティックver).


Also announced was the iTunes release of The X Strait and the Y Scenery (X海峡 Y景色). 4 tracks were released including the full version and the 3 variants used as the first ending of the Pocket Monsters XY anime. The tracks can be purchased on iTunes for 250yen each. There is no word if the tracks will be released on CD or not.

Cartoon Network and the Pokémon Company have revealed that the next season of the English dub will begin on Saturday, January 18th, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. A trailer for the Pokémon the Series: XY was posted on YouTube and it features a new rendition of the original dub opening theme.

It was also revealed that Mewtwo — Prologue to Awakening will air on Cartoon Network on January 11th, 2014, almost three months after the 16th movie premiered on the station. Both the Region 1 DVD and the Australian/New Zealand DVD do not include this vital prologue OVA. It originally aired a few days before the Japanese theatrical premiere in July of 2013. The Japanese Mewtwo pack DVD, the Movie 16 DVD, and the Movie 16 Bluray do include this prologue OVA though.

The Digitally Remastered English dubbed version of the first Pokémon Movie will air on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. The digitally remastered Bluray set was released in Japan in November of 2012.

The official Japanese Movie 17 website launched today and it revealed the titles of the 17th Movie and Movie short. The Cocoon of Destruction (破壊の繭) and Pikachu, What Kind of Keys are These? (ピカチュウ、これなんのカギ？) will premiere in Japanese theaters on July 19th, 2014. The website includes bio's on the characters from the XY anime, a brief story outline, posters and a brief trailer.

The official Korean Pokémon Movie 16 website has revealed that Red Genesect will be distributed to Korean players of Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 as part of the Movie 16 debut in theaters. Details of the event will be revealed on December 12th, 2013 but this Pokémon should be identical to the one released in Japan earlier in the year. Its OT has been revealed as Movie Theater (영화관).

The official Pokémon website has announced that the 16th movie short Pokémon: Eevee and Friends will be available to view on Pokémon TV from Friday, December 6th, 2013 until December 15th, 2013.

Nintendo of Korea has revealed that they will be releasing special Pokémon X and Y 2DS on December 7th, 2013. The WHITE X RED Nintendo 2DS Pokémon X Package (WHITE×RED 색상의 닌텐도 2DS 포켓몬스터 X 패키지) and the BLACK X BLUE Pokémon Nintendo 2DS Y Package (BLACK×BLUE 색상의 닌텐도 2DS 포켓몬스터 Y 패키지) will sell for 160,000 won each.

For those that pre-order tickets for the 16th Pocket Monsters movie in theaters in Korea, patrons will have the opportunity to get a level 10 Nymphia (님피아) for their copy of Pokémon X and Y. The OT is Eevee House (이브이하우스), its Ability is Cute Charm and it knows the moves, Disarming Voice and Baby-Doll Eyes. Further details about the Nymphia will be revealed on November 28th, 2013.
