Dent's description of the food he made was different than Cilan's. Dent in the Japanese original specifically states he cooked the fruit like you would a pancake. The animation for the scene also shows him frying the fruit in a frying pan. Muffins and cakes generally require a baking tray and/or mold.

Cilan: I puréed the fruit and made fruit muffins and cakes!
Dent: I ground the fruit, pulverized it and baked it like pancakes.
(デント): 木の実を挽いて　粉にしてパンケーキ風に焼いてみたんだ。

Iris states Cilan is a "Master Chef" in the English dub. Iris in the Japanese original doesn't quite put him on that high of a pedestal and just states he's good at cooking.

Iris English dub: You know, Cilan, you're a master chef!
Iris Japanese: Dent, you're good at cooking!
（アイリス）: デントって　料理うまいじゃない！

Dent states the move Attract confuses (混乱 konran) the opponent. In the video games, however, the move causes a unique status not shared by any other moves. The infatuation status is called meromero-joutai, so it is most likely that the Japanese didn't want to use the word 'meromero' two times in a row as it would sound a bit silly. The English dub corrected this error.

Cilan: Attract. A move that causes infatuation in Pokémon of the opposite gender.
Dent: Satoshi, Attract is a move which confuses Pokémon of the opposite gender.
（デント）: サトシ　メロメロとは性別の違うポケモンを混乱させる技だよ。

Nyarth uses Fury Swipes in the Japanese original whereas Meowth uses Scratch in the English dub.

Mewoth: Time to use Scratch!
Nyarth: Fury Swipes!
