English Official Summary

During a practice battle on the way to the Driftveil City Gym, Ash and Cilan are surprised when their battle is interrupted by a Deino—and then two others steal their food! It turns out the three Deino are staying at a Pokémon Day Care run by a man named Bobby, who confesses that he’s been having some trouble with the trio because he has no experience taking care of Dragon types. Iris jumps at the chance to help out, so she, Ash, and Cilan volunteer to watch over the three Deino until their Trainers return. Two of the Deino are happy and playful, but the Deino that Iris is looking after appears frightened and lonely—and it’s refusing to eat, which is very strange for a Deino. Vowing to calm it down and get it eating again, Iris and Axew stay with the frightened Deino night and day, while it cowers in hiding. The other two Trainers show up on schedule, but the frightened Deino’s Trainer is nowhere to be seen. Our heroes begin to wonder if the Trainer has somehow forgotten to come back for his Deino, and Iris tries to convince Ash and Cilan to go on to Driftveil City without her so Ash can have his Gym battle while she stays with Deino. They refuse, of course, promising to stick together and make sure Deino gets home safely. Finally, several days later, Deino’s Trainer does show up. He apologizes profusely, explaining that he was training in Chargestone Cave and got lost. Deino is overjoyed to see him, and although it’s a bittersweet moment for Iris, who has grown quite fond of Deino, she is happy that the two of them have finally been reunited. Inspired by this encounter, both Iris and Ash vow to train even harder—Iris to become a Dragon Master, and Ash to crush his next Gym battle! And so, it’s off to Driftveil City once again. Meanwhile, Dr. Zager and Team Rocket are stealthily approaching the mysterious Milos Island, with plans that involve three Legendary Pokémon...

It would appear that the column right of the Pokémon is supposed to be the species name or Pokémon species type but only a couple of them actually make any sense. Most of the descriptions make sense except for the first one that is just garbled text at the beginning but seems mean "Good morning" (ohayou gozaimasu) in Japanese.

"Hatopo" is 'hato' or pigeon and 'popo' is the onomatopoeia for the sound pigeons make. It could also supposed to be the name Japanese Pokémon Hatoboh but a Mamepato is pictured and Hatoboh doesn't make an appearance in the episode at all. Whoever wrote the note for Dharma must have be creeped out by the dead-looking eyes as they said its eyeballs should be painted out. Shuyak could be 'shuyaku' main character since it's the focus of the episode. "Tiram" could also be short for Chillarm[y].

This episode will not air November 17th, as originally announced, due to the broadcast of a baseball game interfering with its program slot. We've shifted all air dates one week ahead, though do note that these dates aren't actually announced.

To explain the situation better, the baseball game that'll postpone this episode is the 5th game in a best-of-7 series played between Chunichi Dragons and Softbank Hawks. This means that, if one of these teams win all four of the four first games, there's no need for any further games to be played, and this episode will air as originally scheduled.

As of typing, two games in the series have been played, and Chunichi has won both. In other words, the episode will air the 17th if, and only if, Chunichi wins the next two games as well. This has a 25% chance of happening.

The next game will be played Tuesday, an update on the situation will be posted then.

The Best Wishes 58 preview in Pokemon Smash 58 also confirmed this by putting a notice at the end of the preview stating exactly that.

The third game has been played, and Chunichi lost. Thus, this episode will get postponed until next week.

Does that mean the whole series was pushed back because of one game? Or was there already going to be a gap between the next few episodes?

A pretty enjoyable episode for all the different Pokémon they showed. I also felt it was more realistic for showing Satoshi and company staying at the Day Care for more than one day. However the ending was rather anticlimactic since I thought Iris was going to get Monozu. Hopefully Iris will be able to get another Dragon Pokémon. I have a feeling that its owner will appear again, since he seemed really devoted to battling.
Before seeing this episode I didn't think that Monozu could be so cute since its last evolution is really fierce but I guess its like Mizugorou and Lagulaji. The Monozu looked really powerful for an unevolved Pokémon.
I wasn't sure whether the trainer came for the Tamagetake was male or female. That was a rather strange character.

Ah yes. 'My sweetheart!' -cue squeaking Foongus-
This was a nice, relaxing episode and a really nice chance to see Iris's development in her 'dragon master' career.

A great episode which finally brought some more character development for Iris. I, too, was really expecting her to actually get the Monozu, and therefore, was slightly disappointed at the end. Come to think of it, Iris says she wants to be a dragon master, but she only has 1 (still) weak dragon Pokémon: Kibago. Hmm... I know there isn't that many dragon Pokémon in Unova, but still.

I also liked to finally have some news about the Rocket Gang... so glad to learn they'll be involved in the events of the 'Tornelos VS Voltolos VS Landlos!' episode (which looks even more promising now that I know they'll be involved :p).
