Summary:

This is the second time the English dub opening has feature the Pokémon Theme song. In this version of the song, Ben Dixon and The Sad Truth did a remixed version of it. The animation features clips from the first XY Japanese opening Volt.

The opening start off with Ash, Serena, Pikachu, Clemont and Bonnie looking around on a hill. The next scene feature Satoshi and Pikachu eating sandwiches and has a distinct blue color to his picture which is shown in the top right part of the screen. It then transitions to Serena with a pink style as she decides on which hat to wear. Clemont is next and he is working on an invention which explodes. Rocket Gang are then seen in their air balloon.

Ash and Pikachu are shown once again as in battle this time and Pikachu's Quick Attack as it transitions to Chespin using Pin Missile and Bunnelby usig Dig. Bonnie then jumps into the air as Dedenne uses Thunder Shock and then Serena is shown as her Fennekin uses Ember.

"Pokémon Gotta catch 'em all!" logo is then shown and then changes to "Pokémon The Series XY".
