Biography
Ash's Lycanroc (Dusk Form) is the evolved form of Ash's Rockruff. It evolved on Akala Island at the Ruins of Life at dusk. A rare natural phenomenon that occurs at sunset and sunrise called a Green Flash occurred and triggered the evolving process. It evolved into a surprise form of Lugarugan that aren't in any books or zukan.

If its fur gets messed up, it gets super angry and just loses control. It's very proud of its mane and doesn't like getting it dirty. In a battle with Gladion's Type: Null / Silvally, it got its fur dirty and that got it mad. Gladion noted that Ash Ketchum's training methods at that time were insufficient but Ash Ketchum had just learned that getting dirty would make Lycanroc mad. The battle continued though once Nebby cleaned up Ash's Lycanroc (Dusk Form) but it got knocked out. Gladion explained that Lycanroc and Gladion's Type: Null / Silvally have the same kind of idiosyncratic strength and that the chances were that it would take quite some time for them to get stronger.

Training with Tapu Bulu helped it learn to control its rage and not get angry when it got dirty. It the grand trial battle vs Nanu, it hit Ash to get him to realize that he'd been not losing self-control and being angry wasn't turning its eyes red. It was actually boosting its power and it could keep calm and under control in battle, even when its eyes got bright red. It defeated all three of Nanu's Pokémon to win the Ula'ula Island Grand Trial.

Alola League Finals - Last Battle Match-up

With Ash Ketchum and Gladion down to only one Pokémon each, Ash's Lycanroc (Dusk Form) and Gladion's Lycanroc (Midnight Form) battled each other in the last battle match-up to determine who would be the first Alola Pokémon League Champion. The day that Ash's Lycanroc (Dusk Form) evolved, Gladion’s Lycanroc was right there and from that moment on, there were real rival. In their previous battles, there were many battling strategies that Ash Ketchum used that Gladion didn’t know were possible. Counter played a huge role in this finals battle but Ash and Lycanroc knew that from the start. Ash's Lycanroc had increased its reflex speed after all the battles it had and it was able to avoid a lot of Stone Edge attacks. Gladion had trained with his Lycanroc to be able to break through Outrage's confusion by biting itself which surprised everyone. In the end though, it was a Counter against a Counter that allowed Ash's Lycanroc (Dusk Form) to defeat Gladion's Lycanroc (Midnight Form) and make Ash Ketchum the Alola Pokémon League Champion.

In the Alola League Exhibition Match, Ash switched from Torracat to Lycanroc and the Professor Kukui soon switched to Braviary, and the battle heated up even more. Lycanroc used Bite and grabbed on to Braviary's foot but Braviary flew 800 yards into the air and then crashed Lycanroc to the ground to do major damage. Lycanroc was still standing after the Sky Drop as it is one tough Pokémon but Superpower proved to be too much and Ash's Lycanroc (Dusk Form) was defeated.
