Released in early 1999, this highly sought after two-disc boxet features both the soundtrack to the feature film "Pocket Monsters THE MOVIE: Mewtwo Strikes Back!", and a 5-track prequel CD drama entitled "The Birth of Mewtwo". The first disc is the prequel drama "The Birth of Mewtwo". The five tracks chronicle the events leading up to the first movie, told primarily from Mewtwo's point of view.
